Honestly, I don't feel disabled at 38 either. Back when I was younger, maybe in certain ways... so I get everything you guys are saying. I always had this gut feeling that there'd come a day when people would start scrutinizing those medical files, so I stuck with private doctors and bought my own meds whenever possible. If money was tight, I’d just go once a month. Given the direction this country is heading, things could get even uglier regarding discrimination in the workplace...

So, regarding San Francisco, a couple of us forum regulars met up last Friday.
One of those old-school users doesn't really hang out here anymore, but my sister—who runs one of those mental health nonprofits in San Francisco—was there too. We had a blast. So, if anyone else wants to jump in next time... feel free.😁

Quick update on the meetup for Miami—two girls have signed up so far, plus this one guy I used to hang out with who’s dealing with some social anxiety and agoraphobia... we're planning to meet up somewhere near the waterfront... if anyone else wants to jump in, feel free.👍
