The Cross might be standard practice in the Catholic Church today, but let's be honest: it’s a pagan custom that clashes directly with the teachings of the Bible. It goes against one of God's most fundamental commandments. Symbolism is strictly forbidden in both the Bible and the Quran. I know enough about other faiths to recognize the pattern—symbolic worship is just a leftover from paganism and polytheism.
