What exactly is "homophobia"? in Psychology ·
Ryan Wood98 said:If anyone reading your post happened to mistakenly believe that you were "normal," I imagine this sentence has certainly made things clear 🤣🤣

Man, do you honestly think the internet would be flooded with lesbian pornography if "normal men" actually despised them? 🤣🤣

I guess I should say congratulations, because you just outed yourself 🤣

Look, I know this might sound weird to you, but not everyone watches porn.
There’s really no need.

Homosexuals want to label anyone who finds their behavior repulsive as being "insane." It feels like a smear campaign to me... an attempt at brainwashing to build a society rooted in evil, where perfectly decent citizens end up being mistreated—or "treated," I suppose—in psychiatric wards because of some fabricated "illness" called "homophobia."

Because when you point out that they have psychological issues, they just want to fight... maybe because there's a certain darkness inside them. So much for their version of "normalcy."

I don't think any normal man or woman could feel fear toward something so unnatural. People claiming to have a phobia seem to need police protection, yet it feels like the police only exist to protect homophobic homosexuals. I mean, what is there to be afraid of? They’re supposedly the pacifists of their group; most can't even land a slap.

This whole idea of "homophobia" seems like a political label to me—just a way to flip values upside down and twist perspectives. It's a tactic to justify their warped views, but I guess not everyone is gullible enough to buy into it.

A natural reaction for any normal man might be a sense of disgust toward a homosexual or contempt for a lesbian. Similarly, a normal woman might find a lesbian repulsive and feel contempt for a homosexual. No matter what laws they pass, I don't think they will ever change that natural human response. They aren't looking for progress; they just want to indulge in their own hedonism.

Well, they can enjoy themselves... just not on our dime.

I’m with you on this one. This was spot on.👍

Spare me all those second-rate analyses.

( clearly they've got some kind of complex where they 'provoke' people just to feel better about themselves. Like, 'stronger' or 'superior,' whatever. )

I have to admit, sometimes stirring the pot can be a lot of fun.🙂
Most liberals are just spineless people with zero backbone.
Especially those "soft" types you see all over the coasts.

northernangler17 said:I guess that last part was probably just a rhetorical question, but whatever, it doesn't matter:

Assuming most die-hard homophobes are male: it's because two women together are seen as "sexy" (especially if some guy thinks he can wedge himself in), so they don't even take it seriously (like it isn't actual homosexuality... or like there aren't real feelings involved... but honestly, homophobes don't even think about homosexuals as PEOPLE who FEEL things for one another...). Meanwhile, two guys together are supposedly "the most disgusting and unnatural thing in the world." Here's the psychology behind it: two women being together doesn't THREATEN a homophobe's masculinity at all; if anything, it just HIGHLIGHTS it. But two men? That's a direct threat to how they perceive themselves and their own manhood. So, I guess, deep down, homophobes are actually super insecure about their own masculinity/sexuality, and gay guys just mirror back a part of themselves they'd never admit to (mostly to themselves, let alone anyone else). To them, gay people are a direct threat to their masculinity. So, for those homophobes, "attack" is basically their best defense.

What if someone is actually totally indifferent toward gay people, but they just play the homophobe role just to mess with those weak-willed liberals?😕 😢

I honestly don't see how anyone else can step in and fix things for you. At the end of the day, you're the only one who can actually help yourself—but only if you truly have the will to do it.
