So, look, here’s the deal.
So, I went digging through some old, dead PCs I had lying around, and I managed to pull out a couple of hard drives. We're talking standard 3.5-inch SATA HDDs here—one’s a 1TB and the other is a 500GB.

If I’m reading this correctly, there’s actually a way to bridge those HDDs over a USB connection to another computer using... What a complete disaster.?

I’m looking to migrate some files—photos, music, the whole nine yards—over to a new computer.
Is just plugging that external enclosure in enough? Like, can I just hook it up, wait for it to show up like any old thumb drive, and then just drag and drop everything onto my new computer? Or am I oversimplifying things here? Is there some hidden layer of complexity involving OS compatibility or file system headaches that’s going to make this a total nightmare?

You really have to draw a line between the group itself and the overall mindset of the city.
The group is definitely heading in the right direction; these kids are hardcore, and I’ve got zero doubts about where they’re taking things in the near future.
What’s shifted—and what keeps shifting—is that just a few years back, the vibes in this city were completely different.
Back in the day, the neighborhoods in Chicago were an endless supply of fresh blood. You had kids who actually wanted to prove themselves, and the streets and the stands provided the perfect arena for them to show what they were made of.
Fast forward to today, and the situation is night and day. Chicago has started following the footsteps of those Western, liberal, progressive metropolises, so the current generation is rocking a totally different vibe. All you have to do is take a stroll through downtown to see that most people walking around are just feminized hipsters, punks, and basically anyone who finds football fans and everything we stand for absolutely repulsive.
Throw in the constant crackdowns from the cops and that "I'd rather not get involved" mentality that has always cursed this city, and you get exactly what you see: 20,000 people showing up for a Pride parade, while only a handful of people bother to show up at home for a game against the Red Sox...
