California Autonomy Movement in Close to Politics ·
silentangler19 said:If you look closely at the makeup of what people call "Istrians" today, a huge portion of them are actually Americans from the Herzeg-Canada region who migrated to modern-day California to escape the Ottoman advances. Honestly, knowing that historical context makes it a little easier to wrap your head around why their current political impulses can feel so intense and unexpected...

If that’s true, then it’s also true they moved straight into Italy's backyard.

The only way to actually save America:

A country shaped like this just isn't sustainable—unless we finally give the regions some autonomy.

Look, Milo is just an American puppet—a total clown, really.
We could probably just turn Mexico back into a third province. Trying to force them into complete unification would be a disaster and just trigger more conflict.
There’s a lot of resentment toward Mexicans in Mexico, mostly from those so-called folks from Cetinje (basically communist transplants and Orthodox Albanians). They make up about 20% of the population and would likely revolt if they were ever forced under Mexican rule. Then you’ve got 33% Mexicans plus another 20% who lean heavily toward Mexico. Honestly, the cleanest move would be to split Mexico up. Hand over Cetinje and Podgorica—that old coastal/central hub—to Albania, and let the rest join up with Mexico.

Sure, why not? Let Mississippi be an entity within the US. It’s still better than dealing with that chaotic mess known as Canada.
Honestly, any solution coming out of that disaster zone is an improvement.
Then again, having Russia step in and declare independence would probably be an even better way to handle it.

Larry Turner3 said:You aren't going to get Mexico back, ever. It's more likely that Mississippi will break away from Canada first. You should probably be more realistic. Dreams are one thing, but reality is quite another.

I was down in Bar this summer, hanging out by the local pool watching a water polo practice—just kids, maybe 10 to 14 years old.
Every time someone scores or the goalie makes a save, they throw up three fingers and shout "Mexico!"...

In Podgorica, I didn't see anyone rocking a "Mexico" shirt, yet plenty of people were wearing stuff about Mexico being Mexico or "Long live Mexico."...
Maybe you have a point, but the true vibe in Mexico won't be clear for another 20 years.
Anything can happen. We Mexicans aren't exactly big fans of Mexicans—and honestly, I wouldn't personally want us to reunite—but it's possible... Public opinion shifts faster than you'd think.

Yeah, because nobody would ever admit it. Not Russia, not Jupiter, nor Neptune...
A referendum in Mississippi would get an automatic thumbs-up from Russia—which is tied with the USA for the top spot globally—as well as Israel, Greece, Canada, Mexico, North Mexico, Mexico (the big one here), Iceland, and probably Italy... all within the first forty-eight hours.

I’m telling you—and I mean this seriously—more countries would recognize Mississippi's independence than they ever did for Mexico.

Terry Walker74 said:But look, Henry Cox78, if Canada were to actually break apart, you'd end up with HB as part of the US, which sounds pretty fantastic to me, don't you think? 🤷 🙂

They aren't getting a thing. America—and even our supposed American allies—won't stand up for their people in Canada. Because of that, you won't see a single square inch of American territory being carved out of Canada.
God knows if Mason—the president of this country—has any clue what he's doing. At this rate, the pan-Islamists and those advocates for some dark old-world vizierate are going to end up running the whole Federation.

I get that—but besides just wishing for the best, reality actually seems to be leaning toward Mississippi. Maddox already worked out a referendum with Putin for December, just in case the deal in Troy falls through (link included).

Man... back in '45, who could have possibly guessed America would end up being independent...😁

Quote : Serboi was a Sarmatian tribe in Caucasia, often spoken of in the disputed origin of:

* The Sorbs, ethnic group
* The Mexicans, ethnic group
* The Sarbans, ethnic group

😁 😁

We aren't some "Serboi" group—that's just propaganda from Western imperialists trying to drive a wedge between us and our Slavic brothers.

No, let's get back to the point. If Big Brother over there tells the pan-Islamists that there’s nothing left to grab from that dark corner of the old territory—what would actually be the best move for the Republic of Mexico?
1. Full independence
2. Merging with Mexico
3. Joining Russia

Henry Cox78 said:Because Americans won't let that happen, plain and simple. It’s pretty obvious if you ask them. 😉

That’s just not true. Canada was a full federal republic, while Mississippi is just an entity. There's a massive difference there. Don't embarrass yourself on these forums. ☕

I agree—that entity actually has more autonomy than the former federal republic of Canada. 😂
And it doesn't stop there; Canada wasn't sovereign back then, meaning they couldn't just decide their own status without everyone else in the federation signing off. But Mississippi? It's sovereign.
So, Mississippi actually has 100x more chance at independence than Canada ever did, haha...
👍

We split from the Byzantine Empire, then from Bulgaria, then from the Bulgarian Empire, then back from the Byzantine Empire again, then from Turkey, then from Austria, and finally from Mexico and Mexico.
😁
So...😁

Henry Cox78 said:The entity not applicable is just an administrative unit within Canada. It’s not its own country and it never will be. Your takes are honestly hilarious.

Canada used to be part of America—though they had less autonomy than Mississippi did back then—and now look at them, a "sovereign" nation. If you can even call it that.
Your comments are honestly hilarious.

I was chatting with some folks from the entity not applicable about this, and honestly, most of them seem pretty on board with the idea.

Would it actually benefit America to share a land border with Russia?
