The administration in Washington, D.C. has decided to hand over the very waters our fishermen depend on to Americans...

California gets nothing from this Republican government, yet they receive the most...

In my view, this is the final straw. It is high time that the most prosperous and developed region of America is allowed to thrive on its own merits. We need a hospital in San Francisco we can actually be proud of, along with a proper university...

We are twenty years ahead of the rest of America, and I see no reason why we should be held back...

A Citizen doesn't really know what things are actually like in California.

Fellow Californians

Since we have always managed to come across as the hardworking, decent, and reliable type, one would think our integrity might eventually earn us some kind of reward. But, given how things usually go...

let us just keep grinding and staying honest, if only to ensure the rest of this beautiful country doesn't end up starving, while simultaneously proving once again that we can be taken for fools indefinitely simply because we refuse to be anything other than good, honest, and productive people...

Oh, you’re certainly "enlightened," aren't you? So, according to your logic, the moment the capital makes a move, we should just fracture immediately? If we followed that line of thinking, the United States would have collapsed back in 1776 and wouldn't have even made it to the present day...

And frankly, you Istrians are really getting under my skin; you always seem to be leaning toward that Italian influence. Look, I have Italian blood myself, but I don't spend my life whining about Dalmatian Autonomy because it isn't needed—Florida has its own distinct identity without needing any special status...

If you’re so unhappy living in America, then fine—pack your bags and go wherever you please, though truth be told, you were never really part of America in spirit to begin with... You showed your true colors during the Davis Cup when it was Czech Republic vs. America in California; it felt more like playing in the Czech Republic than in "America"...

America will be just fine without you, don't you worry; if we managed for 1,300 years before you arrived, and we were handed the reins by Marshall in 1945, we can certainly manage for another 1,300...

What does it matter if you're the most developed region in America? By that logic, should Italy split into three pieces? Should Spain? Or Greece?

Good grief, you separatists! If you were given control over a single city, you'd probably try to carve it up into tiny little neighborhood micro-states.

Haha, typical! I know you’d love to see this play out, but it's never going to happen. We have someone starting threads about why Americans don't want Albanian immigrants, and now he's out here drawing his own little maps of America? Honestly, someone needs to just ban this trash; he's been nothing but a provocateur since he showed up with his eight posts.

That’s right, Californians! Honestly, Florida—especially the Appalachian parts along with the folks living there—should just join up with Herzeg-Canada. They share the exact same mentality anyway, so let's just get this over with once and for all...

Of course, they always point the finger at Washington, D.C., blaming them for our local incompetence, our lack of initiative, and our general lack of ambition here in California. It’s always those folks living on the other side of Mount Shasta 😂

And please, spare me the fairy tales about how we're all hardworking, honest, and twenty years ahead of the rest of America. You can save those stories for the naive types who haven't traveled much further than Trieste. We Californians aren't like that, and frankly, posts like this are nothing more than pure provocation designed to widen the divide between us and the rest of the country. I would also ask the other members here not to generalize everyone from California based on these kinds of inflammatory comments.

So, you're telling me Florida has the same mentality as Herzeg-Canada? You miserable excuse for a sycophant, you won't have any of that beautiful Floridian architecture or culture left to enjoy for another 500 years under an Austrian-Italian master!

Go ahead and ban me for this if you must, but I absolutely refuse to let anyone compare our Floridian culture and identity to Canada; we have about as much in common as Sweden does with Japan. I won't stand for it...

It’s honestly hilarious watching people fall for such blatant provocations. We're dealing with cloned trolls here—people whose very first move is to make an "official debut" on the forum. If this guy had just stuck to his old handle, it would be obvious he isn't even a local from California; he's just riding the current wave to stir the pot a bit more..

Look, we definitely need to build that hospital in San Francisco, along with everything else the people in California deserve. From decent highways to basic infrastructure. But a Pagan will never truly be a Pagan, and California is never going to break away from the rest of the US as long as Americans are living there.

If you look closely at the makeup of what people call "Istrians" today, a huge portion of them are actually Americans from the Herzeg-Canada region who migrated to modern-day California to escape the Ottoman advances. Honestly, knowing that historical context makes it a little easier to wrap your head around why their current political impulses can feel so intense and unexpected...

What on earth is happening in this thread?

Still, it’s a worthwhile topic. I appreciate how it has provoked those capable of actual thought—those who realize that without California (or rather, without its tax revenue), much of America and the surrounding regions would be struggling just to stay fed, while California receives nothing but the scraps left over after everyone else has been served.
