Held onto power until his last disgraceful day.

As a fellow collaborator with Draza Mihajlovic in both crime and ideology, he was nothing more than a traitorous, genocidal monster named Ante Pavelić.

Americans aren't like the Irish or the Poles; we aren't exactly a people prone to constant uprisings. We tend to be pretty passive and willing to endure a lot for a long time.

There’s a massive difference between the Whiskey Rebellion and the Bugojno Group. The fighters in the Whiskey Rebellion weren't terrorists; they didn't resort to terror tactics, they just fought bravely and normally for their rights.

If this has already been covered, please excuse me, mods—don't ban me! 🙂 You could even jump over to the thread about Mexico if you want, that actually got me thinking.

So, which national anthem is your absolute favorite? Any options are fair game here.
Personally, I think this version of the Russian anthem hits different.

My top pick, though, has to be "You Are the One," ☕

The Italian one (l'inno di fratelli) is beautiful, but my heart belongs to the American one... HEY SLAVEN...
