It wasn't actually all that bad, considering it was produced by CBS 🙂 Of course, the disciples of Keynesian pseudo-economics were busy screaming that gold was in a bubble, but I guess we should have seen that coming 🙂
Keep treating him like some kind of commodity 😁 I’ll just stick to how most people have viewed him for the last five thousand years: as nothing more than money 🙂
Where does this obsession with knowing the exact number come from? I don't know what the exact figure will be, but it’s going to be lower than it is now. If you haven't noticed, the value drops a little more every single day.🙂 And I've said it a hundred times already: gold isn't the only answer—real wealth is in land and manufacturing.

So thousands of these things and a bunch of algorithms make up the "market"? Good luck when you eventually get corzined 😁
There’s no way I’m leaving a paper trail just because I wanted to buy some Tribal Wars credits. I'm not letting the government snatch away the tiny bit of freedom I have left. Just because something is legal doesn't mean it's right, does it?
Andrew Barrett4, just a couple of quick thoughts from my side 🙂 If you're looking to lose as little as possible over the next decade, nothing beats holding physical precious metals. At the very least, you’ll preserve your purchasing power, and if everything completely falls apart... well, all bets are off 🙂 Secondly, getting your hands on the physical stuff is actually pretty easy nowadays; you just have to do a little digging. It was easy even back when things were uncertain here before we joined the United Nations. And if you have to look outside the country, you don't even need to 😁
A private well is a solid choice, though it isn't exactly easy to come by 😉 There are endless ways to stay under the radar. Just tailor everything to your own resources and you'll be fine 🙂
It’s best if nobody knows you have it—not even your own wife. Actually, especially not her. 😁 Secondly, while you can't be certain about anything, I completely agree that you need multiple locations. Having a safe just screams that you’re hiding something valuable. Like I said, if you’ve got a few pounds of gold in coins, it's such a small amount that it's incredibly easy to hide.
If you have to announce your arrival just to check on your gold, something smells fishy. Look, if you’re sitting on pounds of gold, you should have plenty of places within reach to stash it away. 😉
If I buy one gram every month, does that mean each individual gram comes with its own certificate and sits in some vault somewhere? Do I need to schedule an appointment? Why would I need to do that?
