Insurance claim issues: How to get what you're owed? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Hey guys, I figured I’d just drop this here instead of starting a whole new thread, so here's my situation.

So, about three weeks ago, I went and broke my ankle—total bummer. Now I'm stuck in a cast for at least a month, maybe even six weeks if I'm lucky (not really). I pay for my insurance through my university plan at the start of the year, but honestly, I have no clue which specific policy or coverage level I actually have. It's all kind of a blur.

Anyway, what I'm wondering is, am I actually entitled to claim anything from the insurance company for this mess?

Thanks in advance!

I mean, it could totally be because they were depositing the funds directly into the business account... honestly, that’s probably what happened. Thanks!

But, the second you try to send money through JPMorgan Chase to some individual over at Bank of America? That’s when they start slapping those transaction fees on you.

Oh, I get that, but I actually tried doing an internal transfer today from my Bank of America account to another account at Bank of America, and they still charged me $33 fees... which feels kinda sketchy to me, I guess?

yeah, I mean just moving money from my account over to some other person's account..

I'm not sure if there's already a thread about this somewhere, but anyway... here goes nothing!

So, does anyone actually know if you get hit with a fee when you're just moving money from one account to another within the exact same bank? I mean, does it just depend on which bank you're using or what?
A few months back, I was transferring some cash around inside my JPMorgan Chase account and they didn't charge me a single cent. But then today, over at Bank of America, they actually hit me with a fee $33(and it was a much bigger chunk of change this time!). It's super confusing to me...
