I saw a jersey the other day that had so many logos on it I could barely see the team colors. At what point does the branding just completely swallow the actual identity of the club?

I watched Red Road incorrectly; I actually put it on mute just to see, because now I'm genuinely curious.

Since you brought it up, I spent the entire time staring at her mouth and her smile. It was so incredibly unattractive that it actually distracted me from enjoying the movie itself. I don't think I've ever been bothered by an actor's mouth before—I’m pretty certain of that.

*Well, obviously, a little bit of self-pleasure isn't worth a thousand dollars :G

If nothing "particularly interesting" is actually happening, then give me characters with some real substance—I want a story with some actual grit and flavor.

I have to admit, I found myself quite fond of my fish tank for a while there.

I didn't even realize how long it was; about an hour in, I started wondering if the plot was ever going to actually kick in. Then I realized—oh, it's three hours long? Well, maybe now. Nope, still nothing.

From the acting and cinematography to the direction, the score, and the overall atmosphere—not to mention how visceral and lifelike everything feels—it’s genuinely difficult to find a single flaw in this production.
It is definitely worth a repeat viewing.

In my estimation, he stands out as the finest among the Oscar nominees. Granted, none of them were truly spectacular—but then again, an Oscar isn't exactly a guarantee of greatness, is it? It seems to me that Matthew's physical transformation helped his acting, though perhaps it's more accurate to say he simply started landing superior roles.
