Do you actually know what you want out of life? in Psychology & Therapy ·
Honestly, I just want to mess around and do absolutely nothing productive. 👋

edit: hmm 🤣 wait, I guess I am doing that right now 😍 but what I actually mean is I want my hobbies to become a meaningful part of my life, rather than just being tucked away under some "hobbies" label. I need to work, sure, but why can't it be the stuff I actually love doing?

Seriously, could you maybe pay a little more attention to where you’re actually walking, for crying out loud? Like, use your head for once and think about more than just what's sitting on the grocery store shelves, okay?👋

So you're basically claiming that an "original thought" is something totally unprecedented—like, nobody ever even dreamed of it before, let alone pulled it off, right?
If that's your angle, I get where you're coming from, but honestly, I’m sticking to what I said in my first post: the whole concept of an "original thought" existing on its own is kind of a myth. Everything in the universe is already out there just waiting to be found; someone just has to stumble upon it, which means nothing is actually being "created" from scratch. Human intellect and consciousness are just tools we use to uncover what's already present. You aren't building anything new with your brain; you're just acting like a cosmic detective. 🤷 I mean, if you somehow managed to uncover something that had never been touched by a human mind before, then maybe, just maybe, you could call it that. But let's be real, the whole argument is so incredibly stretched that it barely makes sense at all...

What I was trying to get at in my second post was this: if you manage to learn something or grasp a concept entirely on your own, without anyone else feeding it to you or influencing your perspective, and then you can explain it clearly to someone else, then yeah, you can rightfully claim that as your own idea, your own thought... 🤷

You can call your thought "original" all you want, but honestly? It doesn't even count unless you actually find a way to make someone else understand what you're talking about!

Man, this is such a massive topic to dive into...
I mean, at the end of the day, can we even truly "invent" anything? Or are we just stumbling upon stuff that was already there waiting for us? It makes you wonder how much effort—how much actual human grit—it takes to finally lay eyes on something new... 🤷
Take music, specifically something like a guitar, for example. All those notes? They’ve been floating around in the universe since forever. Nobody actually "invented" a C-sharp, right? Sure, someone slapped a label on it so we could talk about it, but the sound itself was always present. It's the same deal with every single variation of those tones; some have been played and discovered by musicians, while others are just sitting there in the silence, waiting to be found. 🤷

Are these actual OEM cartridges or some cheap knockoff crap? Because if they’re just those generic replacements, honestly, why even bother posting here? Go back to the store where you bought them and tell them how much they suck. Take the whole printer with you while you're at it!
