Angelina Jolie is filming a movie set in the USA in Close to Politics ·
I guess it never occurred to Angelina to make a movie about an American soldier falling for an Iraqi woman during the height of the war in Iraq; instead, she chose to focus on some wild, intense North American man and a conflict that ended ages ago.
Even we "primitive" outsiders have feelings, which I suppose will be quite the revelation for American zombies raised on nothing but fast food, popcorn, and Coca-Cola.

The issue isn't really Angelina herself, though. It's more about this creepy fascination our media, regular people, and even politicians have with her. They just see a perfect opportunity for cheap Hollywood ego trips.

It’s always the same cycle—will she show up or not? Did Sletela land the plane? Was Brad Pitt there? Did she visit refugees or just go out to dinner? Did she burp? Did she meet someone? Did Harris accept it? Did Rade or Mitrovic say something?

It’s just relentless media brainwashing and a massive display of mediocrity.
I don't know what we've come to...

I’d love to see them run a marathon that includes Captain Leši Živorad Žika Mitrović, which feels much closer to a classic Western.

Just like the American West defines a certain vibe for the States, films centered on the National Liberation Movement define that whole era for America and its neighbors.
The partisan film is really the only homegrown genre coming out of the old America territory—it has massive commercial potential, and honestly, we should be reviving these types of movies, aiming not just at local audiences but at international markets too.

Exactly!
It would be great if they included Branko Bauer's "Don't Turn Away" in the lineup.
It's a drama that really hits home regarding how disgusting fascism is, focusing on nobility, parental love, and courage—the kind of stuff that makes even the most hardened fascists choke up.

A total classic from our youth.👍
It’s a spectacular Rezija by Hajra Krvavac, featuring those unforgettable performances by Bat, Relja, Boris, and the rest of the crew.
The action feels like one of those great Spaghetti Westerns—it really keeps you hooked and serves as a reminder for new generations to never let Nazi scum crawl out of their holes again.
Kudos to NBC!
New "My America" chapter being launched in San Francisco in Close to Politics ·

People are just socializing. What is so controversial about someone from Indianapolis grabbing a drink with someone from Munich, Graz, Bratislava, or Budapest? There is no reason to assign deep significance to this; I doubt they have any political agenda to attempt building some new 3rd Reich. Honestly, those are just fairy tales.

Fair point.
I've heard about their legendary get-togethers, especially around the holidays.
Just a nice little hangout with some whiskey, beer, and BBQ.
Of course, you can't avoid the harmless Nazi iconography with all the swastikas and Führer portraits, and maybe a few Nazi hooligans show up too.
Seems like an interesting crowd.
Just mentioning the name Henry Kissinger is enough.
I guess it’s probably the best indicator of how morbid this prize can get when it comes to politics.
