Bradley Myers63 said:I don't really have any more questions now. Bradley Myers63 started a thread about places of power and his answers aligned perfectly with my own practice—so everything is clear to me. There is just one thing I'm stuck on: Carlos Castaneda clearly calls those who seek and spread the truth warriors of light, but personally, I don't need a title like that to be a warrior of light. That said, whenever the concept of truth comes up, I’ll never allow myself to get dragged into debates like the ones you all and Samting get into. I can't help but wonder why I can't move past my ego during those moments of "attack"—it's why I can't reach a state where I'm actually spreading the truth. And if you take this as some twenty-year-old kid trying to sound smart, you're wrong—you're missing the point that a light body isn't linearly tied to age, so there's no function that would make people unequal based on years lived. The attitude during our last discussion on a different topic was basically that it's impossible to explain things to you because most materialistic people are incapable... blah blah blah... "the greatest" warriors running around with their egos and blunt swords. It's sad I even have to write this here, but I felt the need, so don't feel attacked without reason. My takeaway is that the greatest warrior of light is the one who doesn't even realize they are one—they don't even know others have a name for them. Once again, it doesn't matter who is speaking, but what is being said; excluding someone based on age is fundamentally against instinct. Joseph Cook7, please drop the ego and share your knowledge with us younger folks so we can appreciate your wisdom—there are those of us who genuinely want to 👍

95% of people won't get it. What an attitude—you've shut everyone else out. Don't make me sharpen my axe for battle, warrior of light... those names are great for people who played with Action Man figures as kids, though I worry the gays might reject the title; maybe "Lady of Light" with a mink stole would suit them better, hahaha
Check out the places of power thread if you want; I think it has some key elements for reaching a materialistic person. For me, it's enough to give me a "knock on the head"—maybe it's because my IQ is around 150, so I pick things up fast. Otherwise, it's eventually going to end up with 95% of people not understanding anything when it all starts sounding like gibberish. Carlos Castaneda, you aren't getting away from me until Zachary Cook2 and I grab a coffee without all the unnecessary extras, hihihi

If you actually read my replies to the young man, you'd see I was always trying to help him out by pointing out he lacks the basics to even hold this conversation. But you missed the part where "the young gentleman" immediately claimed I just copied my opening post and that I'm just playing a role here. Since he thinks I'm just some copier and manipulator, I can't do much more than "request" that he stop addressing me altogether. Everything I write comes straight from my head—I don't copy anyone. I've been on the Toltec path for over twenty-five years, learning from a student of the last Toltec in California, where I lived and studied. Since I spend so much time traveling, I make typos, which the young gentleman immediately jumped on, failing to realize that internet forums aren't professionally edited books. People just write how they know how to write. I'm open to chatting and making connections, just not to the mockery and childishness...

Nancy Harris6 said:Aha. Great. I'm glad to hear it's a specific technique, because it sounded a bit absurd, like mere foolishness. 😍 I feel a strange sense of relief...

I have quite a few questions...

Does this mean a complete—as maximal as possible, if I may say so—merging with what is, characterized by zero expectations and a mind that is entirely silenced? Living in the here and now. Without thought.
You mention this technique (mental silence) is incredibly complex, yet simultaneously, it seems to be the simplest thing imaginable... difficult, but exceptionally straightforward.
In this context, is inner silence the tool used to reach controlled madness, which would serve as the ultimate goal? Something like: using the silence of the mind to step-by-step reach a final, absolute stillness. Or am I off base? 🤔
Please, provide some details. 🙂

How long does one spend mastering this technique, and is it even possible to truly master it within a single lifetime? What is the primary hurdle or difficulty? How can one make the process as smooth as possible? Is mastery reserved only for the "chosen few"—those possessing specific traits like persistence, optimism, composure, or a slower pace of life? If so, how does one reshape their character to make the path easier?

There is a vast difference between talking about this technique and actually mastering it... it sounds like a personal rebirth and the ultimate attainment of freedom.
From what I gather, this is the life goal or mission of every human being, which means it is worth every ounce of effort and every single step; it certainly isn't achieved by accident, let alone overnight. One has to conquer their own demons.
Is this about overcoming duality in some way, rising above the shackles of the material world, and finding a balance between the spiritual and physical realms?
Is it a complete and fundamental overhaul of one's mental framework and perception?
The ultimate correctness and Truth, in the sense of living out one's own authenticity?

Am I closer to understanding controlled madness now?

I gotta say, I’m actually pretty surprised by how much solid info you dropped in those last two posts—it’s a relief to finally chat with someone who isn't totally clueless so we can actually get somewhere with this. You hit the nail on the head regarding the Toltec take on "inner silence" and how "intent" acts as this cosmic force that pulls everything together, forming energy bodies from Eagle radiation. And yeah, mentioning the Westwood sequence as a way to repurpose energy within the human body was spot on. Just a heads-up though—you're mixing a few different layers of Toltec wisdom here, and you really shouldn't blend them like that. For instance, "controlled madness" has zero to do with inner silence. Also, "intent" is this mysterious, universal connection we're all part of—it’s not the same thing as just some person's willpower or human intent. As for tensegrity, there's not much point in debating them; you just have to perform the sequences based on what they're actually meant for.
So, to answer the question above:
"Inner silence" is its own thing—it doesn't lead into that "controlled madness" technique at all...
So, basically, the Toltec warriors split into two camps—the "dreamers" and the "seekers."
Dreamwalkers basically spent their time perfecting lucid dreaming techniques while staying totally isolated from everyone else—on the flip side, you had the "trackers," who stayed plugged into society by using this whole "controlled madness" thing to blend in.
To actually pull off this "controlled madness" thing, a warrior’s gotta master a few core basics—it's not just random chaos:
-control
-discipline
-restraint
-timing
-willpower
-the little agitators (those outside distractions used to test everything else)
Once the trackers really nail these components, they can deal with just about anyone without losing their cool or their focus...

Sometimes it happens spontaneously, and other times I lean into being a complete idiot on purpose... just pure, unadulterated stupidity... 😛 I try to conserve my energy, mostly because I have this tendency to give too much of myself away... I find myself getting sucked into someone else's movie, desperate to truly understand... 🙄It’s like some kind of energy vampire latches onto me and just won't let go, staring me down with this relentless, unblinking intensity... and the more they try to drain me, the harder it becomes to break free... 😠

I mean, I’ve definitely mastered the art of playing the fool for this society... It happens rarely and usually only when the mood strikes me... levels... The energies involved—that sense of being present, the relaxation in the moment, the level of composure... it all starts out naturally, but over time it becomes more frequent and intentional, growing proportionally... It seems like things are starting to pick up... If this really is all about energies... then I suppose I’m planning on becoming a complete idiot at record speed... 🤣
There's also this sense that all this acting feels somewhat hollow, a kind of surface-level absurdity regarding human existence that pales in comparison to my own experience of actual meaning...

Joseph Cook7, would you say that spontaneously playing along with society or just letting things slide counts as controlled madness, or does it actually require a certain level of skill developed through intense self-work? It feels like a bit of a silly question, since you really only reach that point after doing the work... energy...But still, I find myself curious about what an expert has to say on the matter...

Is it actually possible to experience a sense of purpose and the joy of being during the process of transformation—to feel comfortable in one's own skin and in the company of others—or is the defining characteristic truly this coldness, which strikes me as nothing more than a profound sense of emptiness and the sheer meaninglessness of existence... 😢

The concept of controlled madness feels absolutely brilliant... 🙏

Well, what you're doing definitely isn't "controlled madness"—that technique is damn complicated, and let's be real, even I haven't mastered it yet. It's not about being uninterested or just acting like a moron because we all have those impulses sometimes. It's actually achieving a total detachment from this world while still staying active within it... basically, having zero internal drives or expectations regarding whatever you're doing. You just try to do your absolute best at a task, and when it's done, you walk away without giving a single damn about the results.
I've tried to give you a rough framework for what "controlled madness" looks like, but you can't really explain it—it's more of an internal shift in how you view the entire world.

Think of the energetic egg as this core part of who we are—basically our whole essence. It’s full of these little energy swirls, but there are four massive ones where all the actual life force is tucked away. The thing is, this energy tends to drift away from the main centers in your body, sliding toward the edges of the egg over time until it builds up into this kind of outer shell. You can find these energy centers sitting right along the bottom edges of your ribcage on both sides, just in front of your kidneys, and down at the base of your neck.
The whole point of the magical movement for shifting energy is just getting that lost stuff back from the shell and driving it back into those internal centers—you know, the ribcage area and the kidney spots. By using specific body and arm movements, you basically stir the energy up and guide it back to the centers where it belongs.

So, here’s the full thread with this kid going by the handle Samting. It’s pretty obvious to everyone reading this that he didn't join this forum to actually discuss the topic—he's just here to stir the pot with constant nitpicking, whether it's bad grammar or those clumsy, awkward comparisons. Honestly, he couldn't care less about the subject matter. So, look, kid—do me a favor and stop hitting me up. You and I clearly have nothing to talk about... thanks in advance.!!

Is there any other kind of visual material out there where someone could actually figure out the movements on their own without having to drive all the way to a gym or something?

Check out the book called "magical movement"—it's published by "ambrosia" over in Washington, D.C., located at 12 Goran Street, Washington, D.C. You can reach them at 202-555-0142 or 202-555-0125.
That book actually has photos illustrating the specific movements...!!

I'm not sure, which is why I'm asking. It feels like we need to take these interpretations with a grain of salt and look a bit deeper. Like, you wouldn't take every word in the Bible literally and call it a day, right? You get what I'm saying?

What’s even the point of this thread if I can't ask a question that might rub some people the wrong way, especially when I'm definitely not trying to insult anyone.
Don't you think questioning things is totally necessary? And let's be real, there's always going to be a few haters in every group, right?

Man, this is a total 180 from your first post where you were denying our take... now suddenly you "don't know," which—fine—is human enough, I guess...
Talking about the Toltec Way is pretty much pointless if you aren't even familiar with it—it's a fundamentally different worldview than what we're used to here in the States. It’s like trying to explain shades and hues to a colorblind person; it's just a waste of breath. Same thing here—we can't even settle on a single topic because you haven't actually read any of this stuff.
Don't sweat it thinking you offended anyone, because you didn't. But we keep having to point out that we can't really talk to you since you lack the basic concepts of the subject—and if we don't have a common ground, there's just nowhere for the discussion to go.

wearyhawk83 said:No offense intended, but I gotta ask: do you guys usually take things this literally, or are you just quoting the book word-for-word?

I find the ancient Aztec teachings super interesting, but I can't help feeling like this might be a bit of a misinterpretation, or maybe I'm just missing something?

Look, folks,
if you think I've got something wrong, go ahead and prove it—use quotes, talk about your own experience, whatever—but just know I’m sticking strictly to the Aztec way since some parts are pretty set in stone...
Honestly, it just seems like you're not feeling the Aztec vibe or you haven't quite grasped it yet, so you're poking fun at me—but hey, whatever works for you!
Reallocating my life energy...!! in Spirituality ·
So, there’s this whole debate about the Aztec warrior's supposed double or bilocation thing. You can't just stare at a double with some materialistic mindset and expect to make sense of it—it’s basically just an energy imprint mimicking the physical original. Because of that, the usual rules don't apply... I mean, the guy could walk through walls or scale a vertical surface like it’s nothing since he's pure energy. But he can't eat, and there’s one dead giveaway he can’t replicate from the original: the eyes. A double's eyes are just raw, glowing energy...!!

Nancy Harris6 said:For me, the hardest part is shedding everyone else's expectations. For as long as I can remember, there’s always been some external force expecting something from me—apparently because I’m supposedly "bursting with potential"—and it feels like this crushing weight. I find myself constantly trying to dodge the urge to justify or explain my life choices and my way of thinking to anyone who asks. 😠 Honestly, trying to explain it to others is just... mission impossible. How do you actually let go of that need to please and just exist as yourself? Is there anything more practical than just trying to force the mind into silence through sheer willpower? From what I can tell, that path is pretty damn rocky...

Sometimes I feel caught in a web, lost in a labyrinth, mostly because I'm not even sure what I want myself—all I get are endless suggestions, directions, criticisms, and a mountain of expectations (well-meaning ones, of course 😁) that only serve to pull me further away from my own center. The people in my life are wonderful, truly, but how do you remain honest with yourself and them without being brutal? How do you break that intrusive connection to everyone else? Is there a version of this that doesn't hurt so much?

I keep asking questions, and the answer I get from deep within is that peace of mind is the foundation and the prerequisite for everything else (as you said, Joseph Cook7), making it perhaps the most concrete move one can ever make...

Look, we can't exactly stop being human and part of a social circle called society... that much is obvious. In the Toltec way, there aren't any cookie-cutter templates or recipes I can just dictate to you for you to memorize. It's more about adopting new perspectives on the world that tear down the stereotypes and learned patterns this whole society is built on. Basically, they break the stereotype that this material world is fixed and unchangeable... that's their starting point and how they prove their point. The second thing is how they interact with the world and the people around them—it's a specific approach called controlled madness . The term comes from the idea that human behavior is inherently crazy, so they use controlled madness as a defense mechanism. It means the warrior adapts to society instead of standing apart from it—they work, they struggle, they grind just like everyone else—but they're basically just playing along. Underneath that mask, they're as cool as ice and totally detached from all the human drama. That's about it for now...

Nancy Harris6 said:The magic happens when you adopt a certain attitude: "I don't care"—not out of apathy, but through a genuine nonchalance and a simple way of living where we stop clinging to everything around us and instead anchor ourselves within our own internal silence. 🙂

It’s incredibly draining to constantly tilt at windmills, trying to prove your worth, your intellect, or your competence to everyone and everything, acting as an endless perfectionist just to meet someone else's expectations... 😢 It creates too much systemic tension.

I know it all too well (both the struggle and the stillness)... The mental warfare still dominates my thoughts 🙂 and there's plenty of chatter 🙂 (ego 😁), but I am working on it... 🥳 Every day, in every sense, I am learning to let go more and more... 😁

Help! 😍

You're making sense and your judgment is solid, but the warrior's path is brutal—nothing is handed to you; you earn every inch. Peace of mind is the foundation for everything, which means you have to shatter that mirror of self-reflection we spend our whole lives building to maintain an image of our own importance. By doing that, we loosen the central pivot point, but its movement has to be guided by genuine intention and pure motives. If it isn't, you might trigger that pivot, but it'll start spinning out of control, which basically means losing your mind and going crazy. Only for a true, disciplined warrior does that center move steadily and predictably under their command...

Nancy Harris6 said:A few essential concepts would include: energy (everything is energy—emotions, the physical, the metaphysical...), the senses (and the deception inherent in them, since we rely on sight and sound when we are really only catching a mere fraction of reality due to our low energy levels...), the illusion of the material world, perception, consciousness, Truth...

Are there any other key terms or concepts an expert might offer, perhaps with a brief explanation...

🙂

You're definitely on the right track—our biggest issue is that this world drains every bit of our energy, leaving us with nothing left to tap into anything beyond this realm. We've gotta start being stingy with our energy and cut out all the useless leaks. One of the massive energy hogs is this ego thing—it forces us to spend our whole lives trying to prove ourselves, act important, or climb some meaningless social ladder. If we could just stop that senseless drain, that energy would naturally pivot toward the unknown, letting us push the boundaries of our perception way further. One milestone would be reaching the "doppelgänger point," which basically lets you pull off bilocation—you know, existing in two different places at once...
Reallocating my life energy...!! in Spirituality ·
Look, the core of the Toltec view is pretty simple—this world isn't actually what our senses tell us it is. It’s more like this massive field of unique energy covering everything, and honestly, you can't even look at it directly for long without feeling overwhelmedand that energy? It’s fully conscious. Basically, we’re just tiny fragments of that energy trapped inside an energetic egg. Inside that egg, there’s this little light called the focal point, which handles how we perceive stuff. When that focal point hits certain energy radiations nearby, they automatically trigger the same kind of radiation outside the egg, and that’s how we "see" the world. It’s what’s known as centering Eagle radiations on a grand scale. Our little focal point only lights up a tiny fraction of those Eagle radiations, and that small slice is all the "world" we ever experience. Within the egg—which represents our true nature—the Toltec wisdom suggests we could actually pull together over two hundred different worlds, some similar to this one and some totally alien. But most people? They just spend their whole lives lighting up this one single reality and pass away without ever realizing they had the capacity to inhabit so many others...
Trying to explain bilocation—being in two places at once—to someone stuck in a purely materialist mindset is a lost cause. They’re basically trapped by the rules handed down by the mainstream consensus about how physics "must" work. It’s like trying to walk into a remote village in the Amazon and explaining how fiber optics or satellite TV works to people who have never even seen a lightbulb. They just can't wrap their heads around it because their entire map of reality is built on a completely different set of instructions than ours. Honestly, the best way to grasp bilocation is through the Toltec way, but you can't get there unless you're willing to ditch your old worldview for a totally new one. Once you shift that perspective, the whole concept actually makes sense...

Zachary Cook2 said:Look, if anyone’s having a hard time with it, they can always go over to 😁

Haha... fair point...
But honestly, I just scrolled through that whole discussion about bilocation and saw you trying to break it down using the Toltec way. It’s a lost cause—they don't have the foundational knowledge for this new worldview the Toltecs introduced, so you're basically shouting into a void. They just can't get it. I actually dropped a post there once trying to explain how they're essentially trapped by their own narrow perception of reality, which makes grasping stuff like this impossible. Breaking those mental chains is tough when people think they can just "logic" their way through everything... it's not even their fault, really. The shamans have done a great job making sure nobody ever escapes that loop.
Reallocating my life energy...!! in Spirituality ·
Zachary Cook2 said:Maybe 95% don't get it, 3% are wondering why we're even rambling about this stuff, 1% think it sounds interesting and might want to dive in, and then there's the 1% who actually understand... though honestly, that last group might be closer to 0.1% if I'm being real.

😁

Maybe you're onto something there. But look, we're dealing with one of those systems that’s just completely alien to how the average American thinks. It brings up concepts that even the most mainstream Eastern philosophies usually skip over. It’s a massive, layered thing—you practically need a roadmap to study it in the right order if you want it to make any sense. That's why I doubt many people can actually keep up with this level of breakdown...

Zachary Cook2 said:Have you actually reached that point where you just stop caring?

To me, it feels like total indifference—just a complete lack of reaction no matter what happens. But I don't mean it hits in waves; I mean it's constant.
For example, if a friend passes away and there's a funeral, I feel absolutely nothing. I just end up performing—acting like I'm grieving through this weird, controlled sort of madness.

I'm not sure if I described it perfectly, but that's the gist of it.🙂

I haven't quite reached that level yet... but hey, I'm working on it. Just a heads up—it's a massive turning point when you start noticing things the average Joe completely misses...!!

Zachary Cook2 said:I have no clue what that's supposed to mean—honestly, I can't even wrap my head around those words. If anyone could break it down for me, I'd appreciate it.

My bad... sometimes I slip into Latin without even realizing it. It's an old expression dating back to Cicero that basically means a prerequisite—you know, something you absolutely need if you want to move forward...!!
Reallocating my life energy...!! in Spirituality ·
Zachary Cook2 said:Well, that’s exactly how I do it. I take in all the details at once. Sometimes I'll just sit there—not focusing on any one thing—and suddenly I see the leaves on a hundred different trees ahead of me as if they were just one single leaf. It's like a 1:100,000 ratio or something; it's hard to even put a number on it.

Just the act of walking through the woods, seeing the whole forest and the thousands of organisms within it, already kills the monologue. Especially when you hit a certain spot, reality just starts to fall apart—everything begins to sway... at least for me.. 😉

I remember reading somewhere about "leaves underfoot," but honestly, walking does a lot more to help with all of this, including silencing that inner chatter.

But it matters where you go. When I'm walking through downtown Chicago, where everything is high-strung, rushed, and chaotic—ugh—that just brings the monologue right back into my head. So, I stay away from walks like that.

👍

You're totally right about preferring nature walks—it's really the only way to quiet the mind. You already know that silencing the dialogue is the condicio sine qua non for anything involving the Toltec way; it's the prerequisite for everything else. That's the moment we loosen the assemblage point and kick off that sequence of transformations where we break down our perception of this world to see reality for what it actually is. From there, a whole series of new positions for the assemblage point follow, starting with the place where self-pity ends, which is the first real step on that path...
