The goal, or perhaps the reward, once the *taman noć duša* passes, seems to be discovering the profound joy of one's true nature. For anyone enduring the *taman noć duša*, the suffering feels infinite. It is a long, deep absence of light and hope. In this state, a person feels utterly alone, facing life's heaviest burdens and their deepest fears. Sometimes, we even manufacture these hardships because it's the only path to spiritual growth we recognize. Usually, this happens once in a lifetime—a karmic tool used to force the soul to grow.
