Daniel Robinson5 said:Man, did you actually end up with an 11-point spread? That’s a bummer if it hit that way because I was sitting at 12, which honestly just makes me want to go grab a smoke and chill. I mean, CP3 basically decided the whole bonus situation with that three-pointer, but Klay Thompson just won't quit. 😁 Seriously though, this Thompson guy has such a smooth shot; he could really make something of himself if he keeps this up.

I mean, Norwich is actually pretty solid at home. They score a ton, sure, but they also tend to leak goals. Since they just climbed back up to the top flight last season, playing on their home turf makes them a total nightmare for anyone to deal with. Honestly, they’d probably need to find the back of the net at least once tomorrow just to stay in it. As for City... well, what can I say? You don't even need to talk about their offense. They're hunting that title, so they absolutely have to grab this win.

I guess I'll just start here...
I'm looking at the Portland Trail Blazers vs. Dallas Mavericks matchup, and I've got the Mavericks sitting at around 1.65. It feels like a decent play, though I guess it really depends on how you view the momentum heading into this one. Maybe the Mavs have the edge, maybe they don't—it's hard to say for sure, but that line caught my eye.
9/10
Man, the Trail Blazers basically threw their playoff hopes in the trash after those trades absolutely gutted them. And now? LaMarcus Aldridge is out for the season. Just when things were already looking grim, he goes down with an injury. I’m honestly expecting a total meltdown in these final games—it’s going to be a disaster. Thank god there isn't much left on the schedule. They’ll probably try to plug Jeff Hickson into that spot, which is just asking for trouble since he’s such a massive hole on defense. Plus, Dirk Nowitzki might just absolutely dismantle him tonight. On the flip side, this is a huge game for the Mavericks. Everyone in the West is practically neck-and-neck right now, so they really need this win just to catch a little breathing room in the playoff race.
I’m thinking about taking the leap on Dirk Nowitzki over 23.5 points. The odds are sitting at 1.85, which feels like a decent value if you believe he's going to get his usual looks. I mean, I guess it depends on how the defense treats him tonight, but I'm leaning towards him clearing that line. Just a thought!
5/10
I feel like I've already said it all, but honestly, things are looking pretty rough. They're playing without LaMarcus Aldridge, and instead, they’re stuck relying on Jeff Hickson, who—let's be real—isn't exactly a defensive powerhouse. Because of that, I wouldn't be surprised if Dirk Nowitzki absolutely torpedoes the Trail Blazers tonight.
I'm thinking about Batum going over 15.5 points. Maybe it's a stretch, I guess, but I really feel like he could hit that. Who knows, right? Just a thought.
7/10
I’m really leaning toward taking the third pick for this matchup, and I gotta say, it’s looking pretty tempting. I keep coming back to LaMarcus Aldridge, which honestly just goes to show how much of a drought we’re in when it comes to players who actually have that pure scoring instinct. It feels like that kind of ability is becoming a rare breed lately, I guess. 🤣 I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if that French guy finally hits a wall tonight. He’s suddenly acting like he’s one of the main pillars for the Trail Blazers, but honestly? It feels a bit forced. Maybe he can pull it off, but I guess we'll see if he actually carries them or just burns out.
wiredcanyon39 said:Just adding this to the mix.
I’m thinking about the Boston Celtics over 92.5 at 1.85. Maybe? It feels like a solid play, I guess, if you're looking at the numbers. Just my two cents.
7/10
The Celtics have been looking absolutely dialed in lately. They took down the Miami Heat a few days ago, and honestly, it looks like they’ve timed this surge in form perfectly right before the playoffs kick off. On the other hand, you've got the Raptors—they aren't exactly known for being a defensive powerhouse, and with their current injury situation, they're struggling to find any rhythm tonight. I guess we'll see if Boston can keep that momentum rolling.
Double? I mean, honestly, maybe we should just double down on everything at this point. It’s kind of wild when you think about it, right? I guess I'm just rambling now, but sometimes you just have to go big or go home. Or maybe I'm just overthinking it... who knows?
The Philadelphia 76ers are looking at a massive -18.5 spread against the New Jersey Nets, and honestly, I'm kind of wondering if anyone actually expects this to be close. At 1.30, the money is basically telling you there's no contest here, though I guess that's just how the numbers shake out sometimes. It feels like one of those games where Philly just runs away with it early on. Maybe they'll blow them out even more than the line suggests, or maybe the Nets find some weird momentum halfway through? I don't know, I guess we'll see. Just seems like a heavy tilt toward Philly.
Maybe the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to cover that -21.5 spread against the Sacramento Kings, I guess? It's a massive number, honestly. Looking at the odds around 1.30, it feels like a heavy favorite situation, but man, those spreads can be such a headache sometimes. Who knows? Maybe OKC just runs away with it.

8/10
I don't know, man, I just can't see the 76ers looking like the squad they were at the start of the season. Even when they actually manage to pull off a win, they look like they're struggling through mud or something. Honestly, I really don't think I'm going to break the bank on those Sixers; they aren't exactly a powerhouse right now. As for OKC, the spread feels way too wide for my liking. Maybe, if they start pulling closer to that Playoff spot, they'll step it up, but I'm thinking about playing it safe. If they do get close to qualifying, I’ll probably sit my star players for a bit, which means even if there is a blowout, it won't be nearly as massive as everyone expects. I just don't buy it.
So, looking at the matchup between the New Orleans Hornets and the Utah Jazz... if you can grab the Jazz at +10.5, I guess that might be the move. It’s sitting at 1.30 on Fortuna right now. Honestly, ten and a half points is a pretty decent cushion, though anything in the NBA can go sideways in a heartbeat, right? Maybe the Jazz can keep it closer than people think. Just my two cents.
The Indiana Pacers versus the Cleveland Cavaliers—with the Cavs coming in at -18.5. Honestly, that spread feels absolutely massive, doesn't it? I mean, maybe they're just completely outmatched this time around, but an 18.5-point gap is wild. I guess you could take the Pacers if you're feeling gutsy, but man, betting against a spread that wide... it’s a tough pill to swallow. Just one of those games where you're sitting there wondering what on earth the oddsmakers were thinking.
@1.69
7/10
The New Orleans Hornets are actually a pretty solid home team, even if their record at home looks a bit messy right now. I mean, looking back, I remember them being in a ton of those super tight, nail-biting games where they just sort of lost their footing in the closing minutes. Both teams are surprisingly tough on the defensive end, too, so I’m really not expecting anyone to break the 100-point mark tonight. I guess my gut feeling is that the Hornets can at least hang in there until the final stretch, especially against a squad like the Utah Jazz.
The Cavaliers actually pushed the Indiana Pacers into overtime just a few days ago, and that was even with the Pacers playing at home. Now they’re heading out on the road, but honestly, the Cavs are a tough squad to deal with, and I don't think the Pacers are exactly known for handing out blowouts. Maybe they can hold their own, but it's going to be interesting, I guess.

Portland Trail Blazers vs Dallas Mavericks 1.65
9/10
The Blazers basically threw their playoff hopes away with those trades that totally gutted them, and now with LaMarcus Aldridge out for the season due to injury, I’m expecting a complete meltdown in these final games—thankfully there isn't much left on the schedule. They'll probably sub him out for Jeff Hickson, who is basically a sieve on defense, so Dirk Nowitzki might just tear them apart tonight. The Mavericks have a huge game here; everyone in the West is so bunched up right now, so they really need this win to breathe a little easier in the Play-In race.
Nowitzki over 23.5 1.85
5/10
I've already said it all, really. Things are worse without Aldridge, and since they're likely relying on Hickson to cover, who honestly has zero defensive presence, I think Dirk is going to absolutely torch the Blazers tonight.
Batum over 15.5 1.85
7/10
This is my third pick for the session and it's looking pretty tempting. Again, I'm bringing up Aldridge because it just goes to show how few players actually have the ability to score consistently when he's gone. 🤣I don't think Batum will be getting hit too hard tonight, especially since he's suddenly transformed into one of the Blazers' main defensive anchors.

San Antonio Spurs - Memphis Grizzlies Under 197.5 @ 1.85
7/10
It’s basically a rerun of last year's playoffs, which ended in that way everyone remembers. The Spurs are coming off a brutal game against the LA Clippers where they let Bynum drop like 30 points—eight of those were on offense. Since Kobe didn't suit up, this loss probably stings even more, especially as they fight for that top spot in the West. Their defense has been looking really sharp this season, which I think is the secret sauce behind their record, along with having some decent depth coming off the bench. Plus, since they're on a back-to-back, that might give us an edge on this one. Memphis, on the other hand, is on a tear, picking up wins against the Heat, Dallas, and the Clippers, mostly thanks to a lockdown defense in the paint where it’s tough to find any space against guys like Randolph, Gasol, and Speights.
Carlos Boozer vs. Tim Duncan 1 @ 1.75
6/10
Boozer is facing the Heat today, and honestly, they’ve been pretty weak at the 4 and 5 spots lately, so I wouldn't be surprised if Carlos puts up a solid number. Rose just got back from being sidelined, so he probably won't be hunting shots like usual, which should leave more opportunities for Boozer to find his rhythm. Tim Duncan is playing fine, but let's face it, he's getting older, and those back-to-back stretches start to take a toll—especially after that grind against Bynum yesterday. Memphis is also one of the best teams when it comes to protecting the rim, so they'll likely make things difficult for Timmy.

Golden State Warriors - Dallas Mavericks 2 @ 1.40
Minnesota Timberwolves - LA Clippers 2 @ 1.45
@2.03
4/10
Dallas is deep in the playoff hunt, so every single game feels like a postseason matchup for them. Meanwhile, GSW is coming off a loss to Portland; they're pretty far out of the playoff picture, and I wouldn't be shocked if they start tanking for a better draft pick soon.
The Wolves are dealing with a nightmare injury situation right now. Denver handled them easily yesterday, and I have a feeling the Clippers might do the same thing today. The Clippers seem pretty confident after beating the Thunder, and they usually play much better on the road than people expect.

So, looks like we pulled in 27.75 units. I guess that's what we're working with.
Profit/Loss: up by 2.75 units.
Singles? Or maybe you could call them solo acts, I don't know. Anyway, let's talk about the singles.
So, looking at the Boston vs. Atlanta matchup... I'm seeing lines around 1.65 for a home win. Honestly, it’s one of those games where you feel like you should pick a side, but then you start overthinking it. Maybe Boston has the edge, maybe they don't. It's tight. Just my two cents, though.
8/10
I mean, that spread is probably just because this is a B2B game for Boston, but honestly, these guys have been on fire lately. They just took down the league's best home team yesterday, and they’re closing in on that third seed fast. It’s gonna be a dogfight with Indiana—they're trailing by two games right now—but man, looking at how they're playing, it's definitely within reach. Also, if I'm remembering my stats right, Rondo has been putting up massive numbers, like hitting double-digit assists in 17 straight games or something? Pretty wild. Meanwhile, Atlanta is basically in a street fight with Orlando for that fifth spot. Given how much Orlando has been struggling to even show up lately, Atlanta could easily snag it, though facing a Celtics squad that's riding high might make things a little dicey for them.
Philadelphia takes the win over Toronto, 2-1. Odds were sitting at around 1.60, I think.
6/10
Philly is absolutely fighting for their lives to snag a playoff spot right now. Every single game feels like a must-win at this point. They’re sitting at seventh, but man, the Knicks and Bucks are breathing down their necks—and since those two are going head-to-head today, Philly actually has a decent shot at pulling away from one of them. They’ve got Toronto on the schedule next. Honestly, the Raptors have been playing pretty decent lately; they aren't looking nearly as bad as their Eastern Conference standing suggests. I guess the big question is how much they even care about winning if they don't have a realistic shot at the postseason. I mean, let's be real, they’d probably much rather just tank for a top lottery pick in the draft. Philly has been dealing with a ton of issues lately, which hasn't helped, but I'm thinking Toronto might try to shut them down with some heavy defensive pressure. That said, maybe Iggy can step up and really neutralize DeRozan? We'll see.
Bucks vs. Knicks, tied up at 2-2... I'm calling it now, let's go Bucks at 2.50. I mean, look, anything can happen in a series like this, but I guess my gut is leaning toward Milwaukee. Maybe they just have that extra gear when things get gritty? Who knows. It’s a toss-up, honestly, but I'll take those odds.
3/10
I was honestly planning on sitting this one out, but man, the odds on this matchup are just too juicy to pass up. It feels like a total toss-up between two teams that are basically neck-and-neck right now. The Knicks have been looking pretty sharp lately, even if they did stumble a bit at Madison Square Garden last night. They’re heading into a massive showdown against the Bucks today, and honestly, the only real edge the Bucks have going for them is that the Knicks are playing on a back-to-back. That's about it. The Bucks' defense has been looking kind of shaky, whereas the Knicks have really stepped their game up since Coach Woodson took the reins. I guess if they can just lock in defensively like they have been in these last few games, they should be able to pull off a win in Milwaukee. Maybe I'm overthinking it, but I couldn't help myself.
I’m leaning toward Melo for the over on 25.5 points, maybe around +110 or so if you can find that kind of juice. I mean, I guess he's been hot lately, though I could be totally wrong about how this matchup shakes out. Just feels like a solid play to me.
5/10
Look, I already mentioned this, but this is a massive game for the Knicks. With Ja Morant and LaMelo Ball out, Melo is basically going to have to carry the entire offensive load tonight. If you look at the numbers, the Bucks have been giving up 100 points like it’s nothing lately, so there's some serious value in the over here. Since Melo is the primary scoring option and everyone's going to be feeding him the rock, I’m thinking he cruises to something around the 30-point mark. It might get pretty tight toward the end of the fourth, and when things get crunch time, they're definitely going to lean on him even harder. That's just more incentive for me, I guess. 👍
Alright, let's get this rolling... first bet on the board.
1/10
Philadelphia takes it, 2-1. Odds were sitting around 1.60, so yeah, that seems about right.
So, looking at the Boston vs. Atlanta matchup... I’m seeing lines sitting around 1.65 for a home win. Honestly? It feels a little tight, maybe even a bit optimistic on the favorites side. I mean, anything can happen in a game like this, but I guess if you're looking for a reason to back them, the momentum is there. Still, I'm hedging my bets big time here—it's anyone's game once that whistle blows.
Milwaukee vs. New York... looking at a 2-2 deadlock right now. I've got them sitting at 2.50. Honestly, it’s anyone's game at this point, but maybe there's some value there if you're feeling gutsy. I guess we'll see how it plays out.
I’m leaning toward Melo for the over on 25.5... maybe around +105 or something like that? I guess we'll see.
