Narcissistic tendencies: Yes or No?

Man, being called a narcissist just for that... It’s true that a lot of women dread getting older. Saying it's pushing her toward a nervous breakdown might be a bit much—okay, maybe a slight overreaction—but when you're constantly bombarded with all those negative stereotypes about aging, and if you actually start believing them, then yeah, that next chapter isn't exactly something you're rushing toward.
Besides, most people are terrified of uncertainty and change in general, and aging is basically the ultimate unknown. If you ran a poll, I bet you'd find plenty of folks who are scared of growing old. Calling that narcissism feels a bit off.😲
