Should Dr. Vito's partial ban from Politics be lifted? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Someone really needs to step in and lift the ban on Viti! 🙂

All I really care about is getting an actual answer... from one of the moderators... regarding my initial question in the first place...

So, I guess the next act of this tragicomedy is officially underway! 🙄 😁

Maybe go spend some time practicing instead; you might actually find it useful for once! ☕

Samuel Brown88 said:It seems like everyone is banding together pretty quickly here... though I have no idea under whose authority... I'm guessing it isn't yours, Terry Walker74...🤣 😉

I was actually quite active on the original thread... but then again, how would you know that since you showed up right as they were locking the doors... ☕

And honestly, the whole point lies in those penalties you didn't receive... as for your friend Johnny21, there's really no point in bringing him up... anything I'd say would just be redundant...

This entire thread was whipped up on a cheap whim. This second one? It’s just a reaction to being called out—since you decided to take a jab at me, well, I’m simply returning the favor!

See, that’s the thing—it’s pretty obvious I wasn't being insulting, which is why I didn't end up with any strikes or a ban, unlike your little group of buddies! 😁

If I'm bothering someone, then fine, let them be annoyed... 😍

Johnny only joined this discussion because of Courtney, and I hadn't even crossed paths with the guy in other threads before, so your little conspiracy theory is basically falling apart at the seams! ☕

The curtains are starting to rise on this little production; we're all just sitting here waiting for the next comedy to unfold! 🙂

Samuel Brown88 said:Are you seriously trying to derail this whole thing by throwing out these little insinuations of yours?😉

Look, you can interpret things however you want—believe whatever helps you sleep at night—but the reality is that about 4 or 5 discussion threads have been shut down entirely. We’ve seen Corto get a permanent ban, along with jationo, Miso62, Drew Brooks, and Justin Allen17... and all of that stems from one single individual who just won't stop being abusive, where every single post is nothing more than a blatant, crude insult.

Even you've jumped into a few discussions yourself... so let me ask you straight... was there actually any real hostility among the users... right up until the moment Jhony21 and Steven Richardson5 showed up?🤷

I’m hoping for an honest answer this time... without all the conspiracy theories and whispering... because you still haven't addressed my first question.😉

Since you decided to take a shot at me, I’ll be the one to answer; there’s really no need to go asking Alexi about it!

Now, Mr. Brown, you've rarely even participated in the threads you're bringing up, yet here you are suddenly acting as a spokesperson. 😵

Speaking as someone with actual professional experience, I’d say it’s hard to tell who’s worse—your employer or you—because while there's definitely a criminal energy at play here, the execution is just plain sloppy. 🤣

Three of those gentlemen mentioned were basically playing tough guys, treating this Reddit community like their own private dive bar, completely ignoring every warning the moderators threw their way.
If they honestly believe they’re the supreme judges and jury in their own little virtual kingdom, holding onto some sort of authority that exists only in their own heads, then that’s a lovely little fantasy for them, but the story ends right there. 😁

Miso62 called another user a traitor, and the moderator gave Corto a very clear warning about where he stood! If that doesn't provide enough clarity for you, then you might have a fundamental issue grasping the facts of the situation.

And if you look at the warnings and bans I personally received, you can see exactly how much "insulting" I was actually doing. ☕ 😁

For these kinds of theatrical performances, you really ought to rehearse a bit before stepping out onto the stage! Just a bit of friendly advice for the future. 😍

I honestly couldn't tell you, though I have this hazy memory from back during the reconstruction period where people were constantly mentioning various foreign donations coming through. As for exactly how that money was funneled or which specific groups actually benefited from those contributions, I’m really just drawing a blank!

granitemarlin77 said:That’s just one tiny slice—the downtown area and the surrounding spots. There are tons of other neighborhoods out there too, including the whole area around the old industrial district. We aren't talking about minor scratches here; the damage was massive. It took a mountain of cash to get things looking decent again today. And yeah, there’s still work to do, but let’s not forget—all that reconstruction came straight out of the US taxpayer fund.

But wasn't there a significant amount of foreign aid and international donations at the start too?

Memphis was easily one of the most devastated cities I’ve ever seen.
People didn't just call it the second Joseph Stalin's namesake without having a damn good reason!

You also can't overlook the fact that even before the heavy destruction hit, the city had been sliding into a bit of a slump for about six years; it wasn't being revitalized or even properly maintained, let alone rebuilt!

Nowadays, it’s once again a beautiful city in the heart of the South, possessing its own unique charm, yet it carries this distinct, underlying ache—something you can actually see and feel if you're paying attention.
