It’s nothing too crazy, really... The PC is mostly gonna be for browsing the web and maybe grabbing some racing games, plus my brother is big into Agriculture Simulator 2013 which doesn't need anything heavy to run smoothly... and maybe some Age of Empires III... they're all pretty old-school titles anyway...
I noticed this motherboard actually has USB 3.0, but my case doesn't even have the ports for it, so I was honestly just thinking about grabbing a cheaper, lower-end CPU instead... I mean, where can I find a board that doesn't support 3.0 anyway, since I don't have any 3.0 devices right now and who knows when I'll actually get around to having them 🙂
So does this all work together and is the power supply beefy enough to actually run the whole setup... I was wondering if there's anywhere else I could trim the cost by maybe twenty bucks or so since I'm really tight on cash right now...
So basically this is the build I'm eyeing and I was thinking about just grabbing it all from Best Buy... does anyone have any thoughts on this or if everything actually works together properly...
@crimsonstag84: This CPU feels pretty weak, or at least that's my take on it... I'm wondering what kind of processor would give me a bit more of a boost if I scaled back the GPU just a touch, since I'm not really looking to crank everything up to ultra settings on the newest AAA titles right now... Something where I could get a $33 beefier processor by opting for a much weaker graphics card...
@graniteharbor85: i'm just wondering if i swap in this beefier graphics card will it actually run on my current 350W power supply or should i be looking at something more heavy duty... and what does "more powerful" even really mean in this context? Like, would stepping up to a 400W unit be enough...

It’s out of warranty and honestly, the drive is getting pretty old... I'm freaking out because the data on there is huge, like over a week's worth of college coursework I absolutely have to turn in... is there really no other way to get this back?...
It’s a lost cause, man... this USB drive won't work on any computer I plug it into, but my other one works perfectly everywhere, so it’s definitely not an issue with the PC itself. Also, regarding that part about wiping out all the drivers for every single USB device, I haven't actually done that yet because those instructions were clearly meant for Windows XP and I'm running Windows 7 on my laptop. I probably should've mentioned that earlier 🙂 sorry
Hey guys, I’m running into a bit of a headache with my USB drive. It was working perfectly fine before, and I actually moved some important files onto it as a backup that I really need right now, but now it just won't open... I've tried everything I can think of to fix these little things, like making sure I installed the latest drivers... The only thing I could figure out is this error code 10 popping up somewhere in the notes
Hopefully someone here has some ideas on what might be going on with it. And please, don't tell me to check under "My Computer," just tell me if it shows up in "Devices and Printers"...
And you've also got that option where you can lock down a function by row or by column or even both at once... So like if you've got a number sitting in A1 that you need to multiply by everything from B1 down to B10, you'd just pop =A$1*B1 into cell C1 and drag it all the way down to C10... The result there is that it multiplies A1 by B2 in C2 and just keeps rolling through to 10... If you want the column to stay frozen so it doesn't shift from A over to B, you just use $A... or if you want to freeze both the row and the column so it always grabs that exact same number, you'd go with $A$1
I always just go with a Verbatim DVD every single time and it burns multi-session without any drama at all... I usually just stick with Ashampoo Burning Studio...
I’ve been running this for a few weeks now and honestly, I wouldn't trade it for any version of Windows XP even if you paid me... Never again 🙂 and I don't get why people are having these language issues... instead of looking for American, maybe try searching for English? 🙂 I went ahead and installed it and everything works fine, but I still prefer using English since it's just easier to navigate...
My laptop's running an Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5250 @ 1.50GHz plus just 1GB of RAM and some integrated graphics... honestly not even sure what kind I've got under the hood 🙂 so I was wondering if I could actually pull off installing Windows 7 on this thing, or if I should just try to bump up the RAM first...
