Right before my due date, I could barely manage a workout or even a quick trip to Target, especially since I was dealing with constant false labor pains. But look, eight weeks later, I’m pretty much back to my usual weight. My belly button is still a little wider than it used to be and the line on my stomach hasn't faded yet, but I had a bit of a pooch—I'll get that sorted once I find the time to get back into Pilates and running. 🙂
All those aches, pains, and that heavy, clumsy feeling? Gone. Honestly, I don't even feel like I've given birth.

I am so relieved to hear that.👍
Because right now, my legs feel like elephant limbs—completely swollen—and my feet have jumped up two or three sizes.
I'm really hoping that clears up soon, too.

The waiting room is packed; two guys actually showed up for their 4D ultrasounds.
Then there’s a whole crowd of women who aren't even pregnant, and nobody is saying anything. One girl, whose belly was actually smaller than mine, had the nerve to get up and offer me her chair.
I didn't take it since the room cleared out pretty fast anyway.
But honestly, what is the deal with these pregnant women showing up with their husbands? Why don't they ever say anything to them if it doesn't cross their minds to speak up?

It’s the exact same thing for me; whenever I walk into a waiting room looking like I'm about to pop, the men just sit there until someone finally tells them to get up—or, ideally, before the women have to be the ones to stand. As for my husband, he’s never once sat down in an OB-GYN waiting room, even when the place is completely empty. He's certainly been raised with decent manners, at least.😍

Now, I’m basically just cycling through two pairs of sweatpants and three t-shirts...
There isn't even any variety left! 😁

It’s the exact same story here—nothing fits anymore, so I’ve become an expert at getting dressed in record time.😂
It honestly gets under my skin when everyone assumes I’ve just been coasting through a lovely, relaxing pregnancy—as if I were actually out there wishing for complications to ruin things 👎
. I’d love to give them a taste of that "relaxing" vacation myself 😠
.
What drove me absolutely up the wall during my pregnancy was having to pay out of pocket for every single checkup $233—only to inevitably spend at least two hours rotting in a waiting room. It’s just nonsensical; they’ll schedule fifteen different patients for the exact same time slot 👎
