What were your biggest pregnancy surprises and pet peeves?

The other day at the grocery store, an elderly woman standing behind me in line reached out and—out of nowhere—stroked my belly. 😲😲😲
I muttered, "Good grief, what do you think you're doing?" and she immediately started apologizing profusely, insisting I shouldn't be angry because it wasn't some kind of curse, just a reflex.
What on earth is she talking about? A curse? She's lost it. 😲
I was genuinely stunned.
Later, while waiting in line again, a man let me cut ahead of him. I told him thank you, which would actually be appreciated if people weren't so selfish; usually, everyone acts like they’re blind to avoid moving. Instead, he just stood there counting his change like a total idiot. Then he looks at me and says, "Ma'am, if I had known you were just grabbing yogurt, I would have let you go sooner so you wouldn't have to wait." 😁
He was a decent enough guy.
Anyway, I'm 39 weeks pregnant, and my bump is impossible to miss. Some of the women at the store act like I'm just some overweight person and refuse to move out of the way, leaving me to struggle on my own.
