Honestly, just reading the mainstream media is enough. We don't need some massive PR blitz for the Mayor. You just have to look at everything they write and realize the exact opposite is true. 😁

vividraven79 said:This whole thing is going to blow up in all our faces if this amateur hour continues, especially if the criminal element gets involved again.

Well, look, it's simple math: when the Republican Party isn't in power, having them lead the opposition is actually worse. They’ll spend every waking moment looking for ways to grease their own palms, using the entire media machine and a web of bureaucrats to plant fake clips and manipulate the narrative.

If you ask me, I would take a completely different approach regarding the moderation team. Wouldn't it be more prudent to attempt to bring back some of the veteran moderators who still linger around these digital halls? I’m thinking specifically of names like boldhound8, Alex Cook, Michelle Palmer6, wiredfalcon2, Carol Lewis, and even Anthony Jackson2, along with Mistycyclist51. Is there not a certain wisdom in returning to those who actually understand the landscape?

Oh, how I long for those golden days to return. Wouldn't it be a marvel if we could simply turn back the clock to that era of absolute brilliance? ☕

I truly believe that having graniteangler31 involved would be a fantastic solution for arbitrating any disputes within our constructive community. Compared to the names previously mentioned, this user's moderation style has become part of local legend—truly high-quality work and incredibly approachable. 👍

It’s like they’re trying to hide from the spotlight in the MLS; look at them over at the Seattle Sounders. Clearly, that coaching spark just fizzled out completely. Honestly, I’m starting to get a bad feeling. After three straight losses, I’m worried that whole inspiring quarterfinal run is about to be snuffed out entirely.

By the way, playing two matches for a cup final feels like a total waste—it almost devalues the whole tournament.

Eric Lopez79 said:Man, look at what Maja is actually pulling off
--making those Republican Party types look totally ridiculous while they just fade away
--honestly, nobody’s ever humbled them quite like this before
--Ed Garvey really needs to give her a massive shoutout in San Francisco for everything she’s doing for the city

That beer is basically "fix it, Tamara." Just total chaos.
Maybe we should just rename the whole thing to "Maja’s Great Sweep," don't you think? It fits perfectly.

Anthony Bennett6 said:Take my neighbor in my building, for example... a gold medalist and he isn't getting a single apartment...

And what about that rower Franković? Is he getting an apartment too? He used to compete in the doubles and the eights...

If that hadn't been sitting right next to the altar, it would have been hanging out there all by itself. It’s like when you place a centerpiece too far from the table—it just loses its sense of purpose. If it weren't positioned so closely, it would be completely isolated.

I have to admit, finding out about Maya Derrick was an even bigger revelation to me than discovering Bob. 👍 He is a massive thorn in the side, not just for the political landscape here in San Francisco, but for the entire business community too—including his media partners. It's like a grit in the eye that won't wash out.
Look, velvetmason14, you can certainly give them grief about their terrible PR strategy if you want, but honestly? For what she’s actually accomplishing out there, they don't even need a press release.

velvetmason14 said:Boraska is just an old-school grifter. He actually raised his hand to support the local Eric Adams - Baltasar, who then went ahead and handed his wife a job at a city agency without even opening it up for applications. Naturally, Boraska voiced his opposition 😂

Now this guy refuses to return an 85-square-meter apartment just so his family can house some "extreme social case" 🤦

Back in 2015, Councilman Boraska’s wife was hired by a city-owned corporation

Councilman Boraska confirmed to us that his wife was hired at the San Francisco Waterfront about ten days ago. He claims he was against it
.
His wife previously worked at the Airport as an independent procurement officer, and now she'll be handling commercial affairs at the San Francisco Waterfront. As per usual, there was no public job posting.

Watch out for these low-life mercenaries from Sell California. They actually called Boraska just so he could explain precisely what was going down 🤣 both behind closed doors and under the official banner...

We reached out to Igor Boraska to get him to walk us through exactly what happened Tuesday at Maja Đerek's office.

Al Boraska is an absolute legend in the San Francisco sports scene. We’re talking about an Olympian with actual hardware around his neck. He’s also a permanent fixture in the local branding landscape. Honestly, a powerhouse athlete like him deserves more than just housing opportunities—we should be clearing the path for him to run businesses without all these ridiculous restrictions! All this political jealousy aimed at someone of his stature? It’s nothing more than a rigged game designed to tear people down.

Ricardo Moniz has been confirmed as the new manager for Slaven Belupo. 😲

At first glance, I’d say this is an incredibly solid move for them. We are talking about a seasoned professional who actually knows how to win championships. Mind you, he does have a bit of a reputation for being a difficult personality—which probably explains why he rarely stays at one club for more than a single season. He’s a real nomad.

There is another thing to consider: back in 2015, he was actually in the running to coach Hajduk, but he missed out. Instead, they went with that big-name corporate strategist from the construction industry, and well, the rest is history.

DUJE3 said:I find myself wondering why there isn't more outcry regarding that one song they play constantly at the stadium—you know the one. Personally, I don’t have an issue with it; to me, it’s a legendary track by The Pip$'s, truly top-tier stuff. But seriously, looking at the lyrics, isn't it basically an open invitation to violence? It's like watching someone walk into a high-stakes poker game with nothing but a bluff and a grin. How can people just sit there and ignore that kind of rhetoric?
Pure hypocrisy, squared.

Ima. 😁

Plus, I can't even remember if I actually texted you saying I was heading over.

bluebison47 said:Well, nothing left to do then. I guess we’ll just settle for saying goodbye to the season during the match against FC Miami, since I can't even make it to the game against the LA Galaxy this Sunday.🕺

It’s game day for the HNL! Everyone, get ready. It's time for the action to kick off. 😍

It’s the ultimate underdog story! Like a small-town high school team facing off against the powerhouse state champions, Gorica is fighting tooth and nail just to stay in the game!

And honestly, Kılıçdaroğlu is actually the perfect opponent for RTE. We’re talking about a career loser who lacks even an ounce of charisma—someone who just steadily erodes the Democratic Party's polling numbers. Personally, I felt like Imamoğlu could have been a fantastic candidate, mainly because he represents such a fresh face against a weary politician dealing with a legacy of mixed results—take his victory in New York City, for example. Even better would have been a nationalist like Akşener stepping up as a challenger; she clearly understands the nuances of political maneuvering and backroom deals much better. All things considered, given the current field of challengers, RTE can sleep easy. If any of those actual heavyweights had stepped up to run, he’d be shaking in his boots by now.

The port director claims everything is spotless. The federal inspectors claim it’s even cleaner than that. Meanwhile, the actual data shows nothing but high levels of toxic arsenic...

Where is our local hero to come to the rescue for the people of San Francisco regarding this whole mess? Where are the official inquiries? Where is everyone breathing down the necks of the port director and the inspectors? Where is that heart-wrenching story about little Anthony and his asthma? Where is the account of sick Mary from the hills? Where are the photos documenting the arsenic poisoning? Where is the expert testimony?
You had them all on that investigative news program. Back then, the star of the show was just some local precinct leader, a young Republican rising star. 🙂

So, the title for the most chaotic squad officially goes to those small-town folks from the outskirts of the Rust Belt. 👋
Here they go, bringing in their fourth "specialist" just to remind them that winning is actually a thing that happens.

I was just watching this news segment about air pollution. Of course, the main person being interviewed was some local neighborhood leader from a Republican-run incubator who, by default, just has to tear into the administration.

You really shouldn't be so cruel. Here we have someone offering incredibly constructive criticism, yet they're being swarmed by all those jealous types who dared to question the look of this highly esteemed municipal worker.

The judge is loaded so he's just messing around.
I've seen him around—young kid, pretty sharp.
Man, why doesn't he just rent out that nice apartment to himself? It'd be great if Mari could stay there.

Are we even talking about the same tough guy?

I keep thinking that for that kind of money, I should just apply for a job with Waste Management... a nice little stroll, getting some exercise, being out in the fresh air all day... instead of stressing out, wrecking my back, and straining my eyes at this job.

Sure, they’re technically clocked in for eight hours, but effectively? You barely see them for three. After that, they’re usually hanging out at some local coffee shop or even leaning against a wall somewhere. I've seen plenty of examples of this firsthand.
