There is a specific breed of person out there—and I’m talking about those who refuse to lift a finger to make anyone else feel welcome—who treats being passive, gloomy, and utterly indifferent to any sense of fun as if it were their birthright. They essentially parasitize the energy of those who actually put in the work to spark a little joy or create a positive momentum. Honestly, isn't that just exhausting? The worst part—and truly the most dangerous aspect of these types—is that vague, unsettling feeling where you can't quite put your finger on what is wrong, yet you know deep down that something is fundamentally off. It’s those social parasites! You find yourself feeling completely drained, while they seem to be having the time of their lives, all while constantly reaching out to pull you back into their orbit

Please, don't beat yourself up—you’ll only end up struggling for years if you do! Seriously, go see a doctor. They can likely get you a prescription to help ease the burden, and trust me, it isn't something to fear. You just need that initial spark to get moving again. Your current environment isn't exactly providing the support you need, so you aren't going to just "snap out of it" on your own. There are antidepressants out there designed with minimal side effects, which could give you the mental fortitude required to finally untangle all those knots life has tied in your path. And remember—you're always in control! You can stop taking them or switch to a different option at any time, provided you coordinate with your physician. Go on, take that first step!
