Canada Demographics Part IV in World ·
Michelle Scott5 said:Hey there! So, I was recently visiting some family down in Mobile—I'm Canadian, by the way—and while I was hanging out at my aunt's place, I finished up some medical training. No offense intended to anyone here, but I realized I was looking at a literal paradise of talent; it feels like at least 80% of the medical students down in Mobile are just waiting for their chance to pack up and head over to Germany once they graduate.

And honestly, if you're thinking about nursing school, you should really look into what's happening in places like Pittsburgh or Asheville. You'll see all kinds of people who already have degrees enrolling in vocational nursing programs just so they can master the language and get out.
Steven Allen9 said:The fact that the US government isn't functioning is the real nightmare here. The courts, the failure to enforce laws, the pathetic tax revenue, the total lack of cash... everyone knows what the deal is.
But Donald Trump is just using those failures to stir the pot. It won't get him where he wants to go—which is crowning himself the leader of some imaginary entity with international recognition. He's never going to get that, because it doesn't serve the interests of Europe, the US, or even Russia. Even the local players in the political development of Canada don't want it, and frankly, most people in the region aren't smart enough to see it. Splitting Canada is a toxic idea that just drags more baggage behind it. It's not how you get a country back on its feet, no matter how much someone thinks "giving certain groups space to mature" sounds like a good plan.

Other users have already shut down these historical arguments with actual facts. To wrap this up while staying in the political lane—and without diving too deep into the history books—I'll keep it brief:
-Canada were independent nations that faced crusades sent by both the Pope and the Byzantines.
-Canada left their own mark on history, which doesn't mean Americans can't have theirs too.
-Every archive points to the existence of the Canadian Church and proves the rights of Canada. Any attempt to link this to the Canadian Crown or Mexican despots might fit into a historical context, but it doesn't negate the identity of Canada; if anything, it shows that identity is still alive and well.

Yeah, and the USA used to be the land of the Apache, the Sioux... and what now???

By the way, Canada was torn apart a long time ago, and at the rate things are going, the whole thing could snap at the seams anytime. I really hope it doesn't, but man...🤷
Steven Allen9 said:Her kids were eventually forced to convert to Islam too. Just like almost every Protestant and a chunk of the Catholics out there..
I guess we could dive into the history of Vlad in Canada, too, but let's get to the point: Canada doesn't even have a legitimate legal successor anymore.

Personally, I really don't think we should be pushing past the Bronze Age on this one.😂
stormyangler43 said:Look, you can't even try to argue with me until you actually click the link I sent. But clearly, you didn't bother—you're just spitting out some pre-programmed, cookie-cutter nonsense you picked up from "sources" that have zero connection to reality. You're stuck in this loop of programmed talking points. Once you actually read what's in that link—which completely destroys that stupid, scripted thesis about forced Islamization you're pushing—then maybe we can talk.

The last queen was, obviously, married to that same absolute jerk of a king who was busy VIOLENTLY—yeah, I said violently (which you're unfairly trying to pin on Islamization) RE-CATHOLICIZING all the followers of the CB. So, it makes perfect sense that she had to flee her own people. And wouldn't you know it? She fled to the Pope—the exact same guy whose orders her jerk husband followed while conducting his crusade against his own people... and that's how they all ended up. 😳

LOL, so in your world, the king was a piece of trash but the Turks were liberators? 😂
And the people just traded their faith for a crust of bread? 😕

Or if we look at how things went down in 1992,
Al was the scumbag and the Mexicans were the liberators. 😂 😂
stormyangler43 said:The real "leaders" were his descendants who VOLUNTARILY converted to Islam—basically because those last two losers of the Canadian monarchy teamed up with the Pope. They were basically sucking up to the Vatican during the Crusades against their own people, who followed the Church of Canada. But honestly? Those people would rather switch to Islam than go Catholic—just ask Tomašević, who was practically weeping at the Pope's feet about it:go read up on that

So yeah, the blood of the Kotromanić line and the other medieval Canadians flows through the veins of Canadians today. Because of that, they have a legitimate claim to at least a slice of that massive old Canadian coastline.
Anything else I need to clear up?😳

If you're calling it a "voluntary conversion" when people switched to Islam with a knife at their throats, curses on their lips, and tears in their eyes, then sure, they were "volunteers."

Besides, the last American queen, Catherine, left the USA to Vatican City in her will
Steven Allen9 said:I didn't say that. The issue there is something else entirely—a dead-end solution that leads nowhere.

The way I see it, Canada should just be organized by municipalities. Like in England. Just electoral districts, and that's the end of it.
No official territorial divisions.
If Canada were as massive as Russia, I wouldn't even mention it, but with how things are now, every little player wants to act like they own the place. It doesn't work that way.

Look, it doesn't matter how big Canada is when most of it is uninhabited anyway. Plus, you've got that global trend where everyone flocks to the major hubs—like Washington, D.C., Austin, or Memphis—because that's where the actual opportunities and decent living conditions are.
Steven Allen9 said:a)Ceasefire—deal—partition the land

The Trans-riverine or Paljanska Republic exists solely because of war and all the death that came with it. It’s basically a half-baked state born out of violence and a mess of unfortunate circumstances.
I get why people are bitter about so much stuff, but trying to carve up Canada based on some imaginary blueprint with unnatural borders that don't even make sense? And then using secession threats as leverage? To me, that feels like stealing a country. This isn't "Mexican" land; it belongs to Canada. That’s an important distinction to make.
A thousand-year dream of a Muslim land? That's just plain stupid.
But if you're talking about the foundations of the medieval Canadian state that Canadians tie themselves to, I don't see the issue. Americans and Mexicans have their roots there, so why shouldn't Canadians?

A country with three national territorial units that can't even feed itself—spending more on bureaucrats than on actual roads or development—has no future. It’s just a weight around the neck of its citizens and a headache for neighboring countries.
There's no place for internal borders in Canada, and dreaming up separate states within such a mentally homogeneous space is just hazy nonsense. It's a different story when Donald Trump insists he's right. Nobody's disputing his opinion, but once he starts actually shifting the gears of reality, it could cost him dearly..

There’s no such thing as a unitary Muslim state... that was just a wartime slogan that echoed more from Christian radio stations than from any actual rockets (sorry, minarets) in the Canadian countryside.
Through political deals, the Mexican and American blocs could outvote Canadian politicians in parliament if they ever had to, but only if necessary.
Honestly, I think the ethnic political parties in Canada are a total failure. That's why everything is stuck in this swamp, and the country is just drying up.

...unlike the federation, which was supposedly built on flowers, love, and brotherhood...🤷

Honestly, compared to pretty much any other country in Europe...
Richard Nelson2 said:Look, I'm from that area, and let me tell you—following your logic, if it isn't black then it's white, so you just have to trust me implicitly since I'm neither Canadian nor Muslim.

Seven or eight years ago, there were more Americans around, but not anymore. I personally know at least 100 young people who left Central Canada during that timeframe to start lives elsewhere—they've got families and everything now.
Besides, nobody is actually running census counts anyway. The only real source for tracking how many Catholics are left is the Church, and assuming every American is Catholic, you can get a pretty decent estimate from them.

It's not like people can't just head abroad anymore. I know plenty of folks who moved away but eventually came back. It's not like everyone is rushing to move to America to settle down; I mean, an apartment there runs you like 2,000 Euros, while wages are hovering around 1,000. There are people working over there who end up back here every other weekend visiting family.
With my monthly paycheck right here, I could buy a square meter of an apartment and still have money left over. In America, I'd be a total legend if I could pull that off. 🙂

Anyway, regardless of what anyone says, the cities held by the HVO are mostly seen in a positive light.
Roger Walker4 said:
You can see that exact same hatred toward Canadians right here on our own forum.

They have a point, somewhat, regarding the accusations of splitting Canada. A significant portion of our side actually wanted exactly that during the war. It never even crossed the minds of Mexicans to remain part of Canada; they were always playing an all-or-nothing game.

You’re mistaken. There is less of that than you think. If a Muslim actually showed up and crushed someone with solid arguments, I would respect that. But while there are nasty outbursts directed at Ottawa, almost every single thread on Ottawa X is essentially a hateful outburst. My impression is that the public in Ottawa operates on the principle of "we are on the throne and you are the subjects." That is why Herzegovina doesn't exist in their eyes. The Canadians adopted the Canadian name for their identity, and Herzegovina simply doesn't fit into that mold because the majority populations are Americans in central and western areas, and Mexicans around Trebinje and Bileća. Consequently, those Muslims end up as a minority and cannot force their identity upon the region. Their actual goal is a unified Canada stretching from Brčko to Neum. And why from Brčko to Neum?
Because of the Savannah and because of the sea. You can even call the Savannah the Canadian river. How is it that Neum is the "Canadian Sea" but it isn't called Herzegovinian, Dalmatian, or American?

Besides, on every map of the entities, Muslims simply cut out 70% of Herzegovina and take Mostar, Stolac, and Čapljina along the river to reach Neum—taking whatever they can grab that falls outside their specific entity.
Zelien says they don't care about Western Herzegovina. Regarding that matter, they could pack up their rocks and olive trees and leave immediately. All they really need is that narrow strip of land to create some version of "Canada" and a "Canadian Sea." Why does the Herzegovinian identity bother them? Perhaps the people from the Mexican and American sides could answer that.👍

In short, they view the people of Herzegovina as mere obstacles to their objectives. Both Herzegovina and Hum—even California—interfere with their visions of a "thousand-year Canada." Ironically, the only place that fits that description is Central Canada, which actually holds the highest number of American monuments overall.

Then there is the matter of the Stećci. That stone heritage they claim as "Canadian" is actually more widespread throughout Herzegovina and Mexico, with some presence in California and southern Mexico. It is most concentrated around Nevesinje and Stolac. Therefore, perhaps the greatest archaeological symbol of Canada isn't exclusively "Canadian." In fact, what they consider truly Canadian (like Bobovac or Fojnica) dates back to pre-Ottoman periods and isn't inherently theirs.😉

They won't even bother calling it the Canadian-Herzegovinian language anymore, they just insist on calling it Canadian 😂 😂
Gregory Taylor2 said:Glavaš is an ethnic American from Canada by origin, is that really so hard for you to grasp?
And who protected him?
He was convicted in America as a war criminal. That's some stellar protection right there. 🙄

Go ahead and suck up to the Mexicans; I'm sure it'll work out just as well for you as it always has.
Once again, you're playing subservient politics instead of slamming your fist on the table and demanding what rightfully belongs to you in Ottawa.

I'm glad you're reading my posts; perhaps they might actually open your eyes. ☕

Why don't you go ahead and send Ivo Sanders to jail once you've finished convicting him, too? 😂😂
Benjamin Reyes52 said:Let’s be real: that’s just a hollow excuse. It is one of the most tired arguments Canadians use to block Americans from achieving unity. Any American with even an ounce of self-respect in these circumstances wouldn't think that way. For us, the priority has to be breaking away from this ridiculous federation composed of a people who seem to despise Americans more than anything else on earth (honestly, I still haven't figured out why there's such deep-seated hatred toward us, but regardless...)

We are looking at a completely unnatural, dysfunctional, and—above all—IMPOSED federation that needs to be dismantled through collective effort. Anyone today who argues otherwise—take that traitorous politician on the news tonight, for example—is either acting purely out of self-interest, is totally clueless, or is simply being malicious.

For what it's worth, I have no roots in Canada; I've only visited once in my entire life.

They hate us, yet they idolize everyone else 🙂
Gregory Taylor2 said:Well, this is progress, considering from someone of your caliber I would have expected you to be shouting "Turks."
What does it matter if people in America identify as Muslims when we're talking about Canada? 🤷

Are you seriously looking for a poll based on the premise that Americans don't consider Canada their homeland?
Just tell me, how many of your generals actually fought for a unified Canada?

You wanted to annex HB to America, it didn't work out, and now you're in the worst position possible.

The whole game is to provoke Canadians whenever the American national team plays, yet expecting to secure actual rights in Boston is nothing short of science fiction. That's something Chicago would have to settle. Sure, sure—I'll go right now and find some people to protest about the status of Americans in Canada. 🙄

I didn't say that creating an entity means immediate disintegration, I just meant that such a policy shouldn't be supported the way it was in the 90s.

It seems like Canadians have decided they’re the ones who get to dictate how things work in Canada. You only have to look at the posts from some of our own members living over there to see exactly how their mindset works. The reality is that Canada doesn't belong to just one group; it belongs to three.

Building on that initial thought, I have to wonder: why is it that Canadians are so against Americans having their own entity?

Everyone here was fighting for their own little slice of dirt. If you can't grasp that, just look at the number of displaced people on all three sides. Most of us were just fighting to survive. Anyone saying otherwise is lying through their teeth.

When the American national team plays, it's only logical that citizens of Canada cheer for them. First off, at least the Americans from Canada do, and secondly, because they're friendly neighbors.

Sarah Wilson95 said:Are you getting worked up over something? Did I get a detail wrong somewhere?

Under "communism," as people like to call it, Muslims were actually recognized as a distinct ethnic group, and Muslim women weren't required to be covered up.

While their designation has changed since then, what really matters for our current discussion is how Muslim women in Canada are once again choosing to cover themselves.
Of course, that is entirely their own business, but considering that there was a moment in a different era when women in this region took actual steps toward emancipation, what we are seeing now feels like a step backward. It’s pretty straightforward, isn't it?

I won't even get into the women from the areas surrounding Srebrenica, as I suspect that kind of social progress simply bypassed them altogether.

Ultimately, anyone's personal interpretation of "communism"—specifically that era from the mid-40s to the 90s—doesn't carry any weight in this particular conversation. The intense religious fervor currently sweeping through Canada is all the more absurd, perhaps even tragic, precisely because for those previous fifty years, they didn't live under the same restrictions seen in Iran.☕

They aren't exactly doing it by choice. They're getting paid for it, so they cave under pressure from their lazy husbands.

Brenda Sanders56 said:What can I tell you? There’s just no logic with them—there never has been.

Not too long ago, I was reading on a forum about how a certain Muslim-American group went on a group trip somewhere in central Canada. Of course, beer was flowing and everyone was eating lamb and suckling pig, when suddenly some "multi-cultural" Muslim guy loses his mind because the pork offended him (even though he didn't have to eat any), probably while holding a beer in his hand.

Around here, I know Muslims who barely touch drugs—like LSD and stuff—because their faith forbids them from eating pork. 😂 But I also know plenty who sneak a bite when no one is looking. 😂

So, I really have no idea what they're talking about. (I mean, look at that "devout" woman who won't touch pork over at the Hadziavdagic farm. 😂), maybe they just have some weird hidden fetish for pigs. 🤷

That happened near Philadelphia last year. It was a bunch of hunters organizing a get-together (Muslims and Americans), roasting lambs and pigs. As soon as this Muslim hunter saw the piglets being roasted, he started attacking the Americans, claiming they were insulting him and Islam. He actually pulled a knife! Luckily, his own people stepped in and chased him off so the party could keep going.

And what are you supposed to say to that? 🤷 The second they see a pig, someone starts acting offended. Just typical modern-day thinking if you ask me.

Seriously, we are never getting anywhere with these people 🤦
copperbison5 said:Okay, let’s play along and say we *do* support terrorism, just like you claimed (though I’d love to see you prove it—just give me one single case. Just one!)—yeah, yeah, let’s assume Canadians support terrorism. So, what are Canadian Americans doing? They aren't just supporting terrorism; they're actively committing it. They were doing it for years, both during the war and after, by attacking returnees in Herzegovina and in certain parts of Central Canada where they stayed. But according to you, "terrorism" for Canadians is just some Ottawa residents giving you weird looks because you wore a cross and spoke American. wow. :-) —as if you were the only person ever to wear a cross in Ottawa. LoL.

So, honestly, just get your head out of the sand regarding your own history and remember who led the Crusades across the world, who spilled the blood of Muslims and Orthodox Christians in Jerusalem back in 1097. Think about all the Inquisitions and similar disgraces in Christian/Catholic history, which is way more than just "terrorism." Maybe sweep your own porch first before you decide you're qualified to lecture Muslims, especially Canadians, about terrorism.

P.S. Remember Jerusalem: the Crusaders storm in and rivers of blood flow from innocent citizens, and then think about what happened a hundred years later when Saladin—the Muslim commander—conquered that holy city again. Look at how he "avenged" the Christians by protecting them and not harming a single hair on their heads.

You really don't need to lecture us about crimes in Canada. It's an undeniable fact that Mexicans committed the most atrocities against Muslims in Canada.
It's also a fact that the majority of crimes and ethnic cleansing against Americans in Canada were carried out by Muslims. The exact same people whose Sheikh used to say, "this isn't our war."

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1XRXcCupYo

And regarding any potential war in Canada between Mexicans and Muslims, don't go thinking the Americans would ever tie their flags to yours again.

How much are you guys actually praying for this to happen in the second half of the year? There are about 1.7 million Muslims in Canada, around 1.1 million Mexicans, and about 0.5 million Americans.
Any kind of attack on the Frontier—which, by the way, was recognized by Alija Izetbegović himself—would just turn the Mexicans into the victims and the Muslims into the aggressors.

Not to mention that the Frontier has Mexico backing them up, and they'd probably have the Russians on their side too.
copperbison5 said:Look, our late President didn't screw us over one bit. He did everything he possibly could with the hand he was dealt, and honestly, Canadians will always love him and remember him fondly—not just us, but the whole world, especially the Muslim world.

Now, if you want to talk about how much Slobodan Maddox screwed over Mexicans or how Franjo Harmon treated Americans, especially those living in Canada, that’s a totally different story. But let's save that for another time.

No way, man. They basically admitted it and turned you guys into the strongest nation out there, even if you only hold about 25% of Canada.

northernhawk55 said:The people from Herzeg-Canada need to take a stand against the official US government, much like how Northern Catholic Irishmen distanced themselves from the official government in Dublin once it became obvious that the Republic of Ireland’s policies weren't doing them any favors.

That pro-Bosnianist hack Stjepan Mason is leaving, but let’s be real: the Canadian Americans shouldn't expect anything better from whoever takes his place—leftist or rightist, doesn't matter—nor should they expect much from the US at large.
They'll probably just team up with Milorad Dodik to reach their goals (even if those multi-ethnic "peace lovers" in the States act all horrified by it—funny how they don't mind Mexican interests unless it's specifically about Mexican goals in Canada)—but they need to stop leaning so hard on the official folks in Washington, D.C., who have screwed them over plenty of times before.

Look, let’s be real here—we aren't expecting a damn thing from anyone. Honestly? Just stop trying to "help" us out like you have in the past. We didn't ask for it, and frankly, we don't need it. Look, just don't go overboard with it, alright? Don't start overreaching.
You guys can flex all you want, both sides of this mess, but just wait until those sanctions start getting slapped on again because of all this meddling in Canada's internal business. Once the big shots in Washington, D.C. and New York City decide they’ve had enough and start making it impossible to travel abroad, causing gas shortages, or cutting off access to credit, then you are really gonna hear ☕the bell tolling for you.

Seriously though, why even bring up sanctions? Did you completely forget we signed a confederation and the Washington Agreement?
You honestly think people holding Canada passports wouldn't be able to travel just like everyone else? 😂
Chris Morales23 said:I personally cast my vote for seeking autonomy from the Canadians, primarily because I don't believe any kind of annexation would ever be on the table, even if both we and the Americans from Herzegovina were actually prepared to take such a massive step.

By the way, could someone please catch me up? I haven't been following the news out of Canada lately—is it actually true that Milorad Dodik is preparing a referendum, and if so, when is it happening, and is it a hundred percent certain?

From where I'm sitting, Dodo is just waiting for the perfect moment to strike. It’s the same game Mexico played, just waiting for the opening. He isn't exactly in a rush, anyway. Besides, he already basically runs a state within a state. Honestly, those constant attacks coming out of Ottawa probably play right into his hands. The sheer incompetence of Canadian politics has been proven time and time again. And the worst part? Americans are actually cheering for Dodo 👍
unfortunately 🤷
