Joseph Bailey41 said:Not really. I gave it a read, but it didn't quite click for me. Honestly, if I were a cop, I'd be weeping right now—I much preferred things like *Galactic Ceramic Healer*, *Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?*, *The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldrič*, or *Ubik*. Those were much more my style.

🙂
there are actually quite a few of them
the film is significantly softer while still capturing the core essence, though I would suggest skipping those first few minutes. It’s far too dense with symbolism, dark humor, and truths we’d rather ignore...

and don't even get me started on the music and the violin work.... just watch.

Sing for freedom 🙂 though those who actually think might find themselves lacking the inclination to sing

And have you happened to see...

The film he produced based on this masterpiece

Not until that much-hyped individual finally lands after resisting something she clearly already knows the truth about...

"Do one thing every day that scares you." That stands as my absolute favorite piece of advice, specifically number three.

The video is overflowing with wonderful insights, though I must admit, there were a few I chose to ignore...

Man, traffic laws are getting weird. You can't even drive through a lane properly anymore without feeling like someone's watching. Honestly, who wouldn't swerve to avoid that kind of pressure? 😠

Speed tempered by caution—but then again, what is life without a little friction? Of course, maintaining standards comes at a price. 🙂
Personally, I found more satisfaction in seeing the "cornering" mod receive a red 😁 because I refuse to force my way where I am not welcome... it's just short&simple
Perhaps it isn't standard practice to praise the moderators, but on this specific PDF, it 🤔is acceptable.
They have their own set of rules they must adhere to, but "We"

just look at how she veered off (that happened long ago) the topic ...

Joseph Bailey41 said:I was just saying, I'm sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean by "perme." Could you clarify or provide more context? I want to make sure I'm on the same page before I respond. Not just bits and pieces. 😁

And what is the distinction? Where exactly... he didn't just veer off, he slammed straight into mode 😁
good, I haven't read... well, fine, the writing and the thought process are excellent, so you really have to consider all three perspectives to get the full picture.
Sometimes I stumble upon some truly brilliant posts, but it feels entirely haphazard—like finding flashes of light from "fade to gray" users who haven't quite been revived yet, though perhaps they could be through some sort of automated system.

Joseph Bailey41 said:Me, at a measly twenty. 😳

I don't think you and I combined have nearly as much as our friend Judolino. That guy survived two recessions and look at him—still cheerful and talkative. Word on the street is he’s even swapping out moderators, but hey, don't tell anyone. 😲

Well, I also have two 😁 Economy and Natural Science credits. It is utterly unfair because I was right then and I am right now—that isn't just an opinion, it is a matter of fact, though if I were to explain why I refuse to follow the rules, I'd be breaking them... but such is life. They rarely reward you in the places where you actually excel...

The only thing I lack is a clone, or several clones. 😁

one and only

PS, I took a look—he's been around for two years... and given how many people we've managed to "enlighten," it won't be easy for anyone to catch up to him.

Joseph Bailey41 said:Honestly, I just realized I’ve been being pretty rude. I’m basically just rambling on about myself. Instead of talking about Buddhism, Inception, or ladybugs. Since this is a chat, we should probably stick to the topic and stay off-topic if we want to keep things on track.

How many pages of red have you collected so far? 😬

Only 36, a full 🕺. Lately, I haven't really felt the drive. If I recall correctly, only the esteemed Judge has more.
Some argue that entropy isn't even what it used to be 😬, though my own view is that it has simply become more appealing to certain people 😁 due to their posts, or perhaps we are all just getting older. This is all going downhill again...

The educational ones are... well, whatever the cost may be.

As for the rest, they are in the style of Morgan Campbell4 🙂

So, go ahead. We must do exactly what we desire...

Joseph Bailey41 said:No, I'm just Babbling. 🤣

A friend of mine once traveled all the way to India to "find himself." He came back realizing he wasn't actually there. 😲

It would have been far more prudent if he had looked on the other side of the globe—perhaps in Jamaica.
That said, certain tenets of Buddhism hold merit. Regardless of the specific school.
Let us return to the matter at hand.

How long has this sense of Babbling taken hold of you, and are you silent about the reasons why? 😬
I suspect you harbor the belief that others are taking you quite seriously.

I honestly think you're mistaken. It isn't really about intelligence; it’s more about how we perceive things.
It's nothing unusual when you run into something unfamiliar, even if that something is just my own self...

The brighter the light, the deeper the shadow. And lately, I feel like I'm radiating enough energy to be Chernobyl. 🕺

Haha, well, that depends entirely on where this illumination is coming from—is it shining down upon you? Regardless, may that light follow you wherever you go.
Are you a follower of Buddhism? Or perhaps searching for an ending similar to the conclusion of Kamanit?

Thomas Phillips88 said:How can anyone possibly disbelieve in Bog?

Because being hyper-conscious acts as a contraindication. Short and simple enough.

Joseph Bailey41 said:Fair enough... I don't really love thinking of myself as the dumbest person in the room, though. I'd much rather just be somewhere in the middle. 🤣

I would argue you’re mistaken; this isn't a matter of intellect, but rather one of perception.
It is hardly surprising when one encounters the unknown, even if that unknown happens to be oneself...

Joseph Bailey41 said:I’m really not a fan of people knocking on my door. Especially at this hour. My usual move is to snap first and ask questions later—and if it turns out I was actually the one standing there, then I've really done it now. 😁

you are... sorry,
but you aren't the only one who finds such interruptions aggravating.
Crazy Talk Thread in Psychology ·
a a a ..

This isn't about some vague dream state. If someone knocks on your door "like that," don't bother asking who it is... you already know. It's you.
But then again, that's just how you choose to perceive it.

Morgan Campbell4 said:That ranks comfortably in my top five films of all time. I’ve probably lost count, but I'd say I've seen it at least 10 to 15 times now. 🙈🙈

🙂 It’s brilliant; it truly transports you.

At that point, you understand its true value—not that I need to quote Grunf to prove it. 😁

The "spinning top" 🙂

is it just an illusion, this concept of time...
regardless,

Inception demands repeated viewing. It is quite possibly the most emotionally resonant film I have ever encountered...
I actually went to see it at the Kic theater, watching it on a projector with those old-school subtitles and sitting in those cheap plastic chairs... purely by chance, a bit of nostalgia, I suppose.

You’ve lost a part of your femininity, you know that—they’ve likely already pointed it out to you. To me, however, it feels like nothing more than mere pretension, though that is strictly my own perspective. I have always found value in drawing parallels to what might actually be true.
It seems to me that, occasionally, something deep within my nature makes a decision entirely independent of my conscious will, acting long before any desire can even manifest.

Indeed, time is an adversary, and one usually realizes this far too late... it is a quiet tragedy, unfolding right before your eyes while remaining completely invisible.
Crazy Talk Thread in Psychology ·
Aha, I wasn’t referring to those who are "normal." My issue is that I tend to overextend myself, which often leads to bouts of carelessness. However, having an ace up my sleeve usually compensates for the damage. It seems a bit easier to manage when dealing with men. But let us move past the milestones of growing up; instead, let us focus on what we actually missed out on. I am not speaking of an emotional blueprint, but rather the practical costs—whether it was waiting for the perfect moment or simply being indecisive. There is a certain merit in remaining true to oneself, regardless of how much distance one maintains from the fray.

Joseph Bailey41 said:There’s either no reaction at all, a negative one, or if a positive response finally comes, it’s usually long after I've stopped caring. That last part is what really gets to me. 😁

If someone were to just sit beside you,
but certainly not me; I have to look out for my own heart
and you are merely standing behind the curtain

perhaps you would find some relief if I revealed who is waiting in the lobby 😁
though they haven't been formally introduced yet, they are watching

still, the "all is well" option remains available. It seems fair, doesn't it... much like the old adage that silence is golden.

Joseph Bailey41 said:I've been pretty traumatized ever since someone hacked my Facebook profile and set up a fake account. I honestly find it hard to feel any connection to my online identities anymore. 😢

They caught on to you, didn't they? 😁 ...
It was quite obvious, or at least highly probable, though one could argue it was just a joke—even if I am convinced you were operating as a lone wolf there.
In truth, you already compromised your anonymity with that clumsy post on the Forum.

Yet, regardless of how vague the inquiry might seem, it reaches back into a past buried deep within the subconscious.
A long time ago (😁), well before Facebook became the dominant force... back when a first impression was all that mattered.

It would certainly make for an interesting topic on Psych Chat: why certain individuals struggle to be authentic in reality, failing even to unlatch the doors of their own consciousness. You possess enough resilience to actually dare to try...

Since nobody seems willing to volunteer, Mrs. Joseph Bailey41, would you be the first one to step up to the couch? 😁

Regarding enrollment—given that you are an entirely different individual in this first reality—is that a result of the "she thing" instead of "she think" phenomenon (referring to remote viewing)?
The truth is, while things are certainly more straightforward here, the consequences of being misunderstood or unfairly labeled—whether those labels are professional or merely arbitrary—stem directly from poor, or even non-existent, communication.
