Why do I always have to be right? in Psychology ·
hollowtinker18 said:Hey, you realize why you just got slapped with a yellow card, right? If you keep racking them up, you're looking at a temporary ban.
If you're lost, go ahead and actually read the forum rules for once.

I mean, I get how the system works—but I don't quite follow why I'm the only one getting flagged. Other people over there are using all kinds of language and basically insulting each other left and right, yet they haven't seen a single card... I guess it's because I was calling out the forum itself. They probably don't write with this much detail, and since they don't like hearing it, they just slap a card on me... whatever, it's fine. I'm not going to dwell on it, mostly because I'd rather not pick up another one.🙂

hollowtinker18 said:Jose Kern6... look, you're new here. I just don't want to go back to that topic. If you really think you're right, fine by me. Whatever.

Look, nobody is "right" here. Right about what, exactly? I was just stating my two cents regarding that topic and how these kinds of forums operate—that's all there is to it. It's all good.

So, you asked me three different times which ward I was stationed at, but I already told you—I've never been there. And as for "making progress," maybe I'm being a little provocative, sure, but that's usually a good thing—and I've already made it clear that I genuinely want these people to get better and find some peace.

...it’s not just a thing I do here on the forums—I’m like this everywhere. If I lay out my thoughts clearly and politely, and someone decides to come at me—like you did, hollowtinker18, back in that other thread—well, I’m going to push back. I don't just let people walk all over me just because they took offense to an opinion I expressed in good faith... ☕

I've noticed time and again that if I just state my piece—clearly stating that ja am simply expressing moje own opinion—people immediately jump down my throat. It’s like they’re desperate to force their worldview on everyone else. Honestly, I have no clue what drives that kind of aggression. 🤷

Look, I’ll swing back if I have to. But I never start the fight.

👍 👍 You basically stole the words right out of my mouth—I’m doing the exact same thing, just sharing my thoughts, and if someone decides to get aggressive about it, then yeah, I’m hitting back. I'm not about to let anyone push me around.
