I’ve run into a bit of a snag. My Windows 7 32-bit machine gets stuck at the login screen, but it’s totally unresponsive. I can move the mouse around, but I can't click anything—no user login prompt shows up at all. Every ten seconds or so, the screen just flickers, and the mouse cursor hangs for a couple of seconds like it's trying to process something, then it just resets. I tried booting into Safe Mode, but that didn't work either. We even pulled the hard drive to test it, and everything seems fine there. I also tried running the built-in repair options from a Windows 7 boot disk and reset the BIOS to defaults, but nothing has helped. Any ideas?
So, after cycling the power on my PC a few times every day, everything suddenly started working perfectly. It’s been running smoothly for a week now—no issues starting up, idling, or shutting down. The RAM is being recognized correctly, too, and the whole system feels snappier. Who knows? Maybe the computer just needed some time to settle in.
Here’s what my BIOS shows regarding the memory:
Total Memory: 8192 MB
Dual channel memory mode
DDR3 - A2: 2048/533 mhz DDR3 - 1060
DDR3 - A1: 2048/533 mhz DDR3 - 1060
DDR3 - B2: 2048/533 mhz DDR3 - 1060
DDR3 - B1: 2048/533 mhz DDR3 - 1060
That section is greyed out, so I can't change any settings. Everything looks fine according to this, right?
Slots 1 and 3 (where the old RAM is) are gray, while 2 and 4 have the new blue ones.
The motherboard is an ASRock P55 Pro/USB3..
My PC ended up with the memory sticks in slots 1 and 3, which left 2 and 4 wide open.
I could try switching them to 1 and 2, or maybe 3 and 4... is there any way to optimize this?
Here’s my current RAM setup (slots 1 and 3):
Kingston Hyper X 2x2GB DDR3
Max Bandwidth: PC3-10600 (667 MHz)
Voltage: 1.5V
Motherboard has 4 slots total
OS: Windows 7 64-bit
I added these extra sticks (slots 2 and 4):
Kingston 2x2GB DDR3
Max Bandwidth: PC3-8500 (533 MHz)
Voltage: 1.5V
The PC recognized everything right away, and honestly, the performance boost felt great. But now, things start acting glitchy every time I boot up. First, my audio driver went missing—restarted, fixed. Then the system fonts changed—another restart, back to normal. Next time, Firefox kept throwing errors until I rebooted again. I’ve scanned for viruses and everything looks clean. Is it possible these RAM sticks aren't compatible enough and are causing these hiccups? I'm almost afraid to turn the computer off because I never know what surprise is waiting for me, whether it's right at startup or a few hours into work.
Before you head to the doctor, maybe talk to your boyfriend first. Let him take a look, and if everything seems fine, then go see a gynecologist just to put your mind at ease. You won't truly find any peace until you either get an answer from him or get confirmation from a professional, so hang in there.
Just let your boyfriend take a look, I'm sure he'll find it 😉
Why would you feel embarrassed seeing a gynecologist? You might blush a little, but they'll barely even notice 🙂
Is it just feeling really deep, or did something actually slip out?
If you're this worried about it, you should probably just head to the gynecologist and have them take a look.

Don't sweat it, just be a little more careful next time.🙂

It probably wasn't even fully soaked when you went to the bathroom, so it likely just slipped out awkwardly on its own. That's probably why there was more blood later once there wasn't anything there to catch it.
Hey ladies, moms, grandmas... sorry if I've already posted this, I just don't have the time to go hunting through old threads right now.
I'm looking for some advice. Honestly, I think I already know what I should do, but maybe someone else has dealt with something similar?
So, I rarely use tampons—only in the summer if I absolutely have to. Yesterday, I used the smallest size right at the end of my period. After I got home, I had a few drinks and crashed out immediately. When I woke up this morning, the tampon was gone, but there was a little bit of blood on my underwear.
I know the "right" thing to do is call my OB-GYN, but please, has anyone else had this happen? Could it have just slipped out since it was the end of my cycle and wasn't even that soaked? The only time it might have moved was on the way home when I asked my boyfriend to pull over because I had to pee so bad, but I don't really remember much from that part since I was pretty drunk.
To be honest, I'm feeling super awkward about going to the doctor for something like this... so...
By the way, were you and your boyfriend having sex?
It seems fine to me. It probably just fell out when you went to the bathroom and you didn't notice. The blood was likely just there in the morning because he wasn't around. Nothing serious enough to need a doctor's visit.
