Got a boyfriend, now he's gone ghost.

I have this one friend who, every single time she lands a boyfriend, completely ghosts everyone else in her life. It’s like she stops breathing and just exists solely for him. She recently went through a breakup, and now she’s finally crawling back to her old circle so we can all pick up the pieces. I’ve honestly never had a close friend act like this before. A few times, I was over at her place and her guy would call, and they’d spend the entire time talking on the phone right in front of me. I eventually had to call her out on it, and luckily, she stopped. I really believe you have to be blunt with people like that, especially if you actually care about them. Look, being in a relationship is great, but you shouldn't lose your entire identity—or your whole life—in the process.
