Is this a glitch or just the way it works? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
I occasionally lurk in the soccer threads—including the ones about the US Men's National Soccer Team—and while there’s always been plenty of pushback against the big shots and the shady management, I honestly can't wrap my head around what I'm seeing today.
The mods are acting completely out of line, just throwing insults everywhere!
And it's not just them; some of the other users here are spewing such blatant hate speech that it’s actually pretty gross to even post the links.

I'll drop some links to two pages that are basically just wall-to-wall vitriol and toxicity.

Here’s an example of one of the moderators being a total jerk, too.

Look, I can see you get the forum rules and you know what’s expected, you just seem to prefer ignoring them. So, basically, moving forward, you can either choose to follow the guidelines and stay away from unnecessary trolling, or you can keep doing it and deal with the consequences.

The rest of that isn't even worth a response, but just so we don't run into this again: putting a rainbow flag on a government building doesn't mean Americans are telling people they're gay—it's nothing like the kind of labeling you seem hell-bent on pushing.

And those pointless arguments about this being an anti-American forum, based on some imaginary monopoly on patriotism... I really don't even want to go there.

As far as I'm concerned, this appeal is closed. If higher-ups want to step in, they can.

So, we're basically agreeing that there was a provocation here, which even you're admitting.
If you're all about being liberal and letting provocations slide as a way of communicating, then why am I the one getting shut down? It feels like you're just devaluing my input.
If flying a rainbow flag on a public building on a holiday isn't considered an insult, then calling someone a Muslim is somehow even less of one.
It might be provocative to some people, sure, but it isn't an insult, and it doesn't break any rules, laws, or the Constitution.

When I talk about being anti-American, I'm talking about political anti-Americanism—things like causing economic, political, or media damage to the US and its citizens. I'm not talking about feelings or unprovable stuff like "patriotism."

On one hand, you're defending Frljic, who is actually breaking the LAW, while you're attacking me even though I'm following everything to the letter.
That’s what I mean by double standards.

To me, Canadian and Muslim are essentially the same thing; it's not some kind of labeling. Even if I refer to them politically as Turks or Converts, that isn't an insult or labeling—it's just historical fact.
It's like if I used an old name for someone—even if their official documents use a different name, using the old one isn't an insult, and I can't stop anyone from doing it. Official documents have to follow the law, obviously, but that's it.
I'm not a public figure or an official, and this forum isn't a legal document, so nobody can force me to act like an official representative.

Everything I write on this forum could be backed up by a thousand facts.
I'm not trolling; I respect the culture of debate in every discussion, and yeah, that includes civil disagreements. But I never make it personal.

I just hope you guys take all this into account, fairly, regardless of whether I'm an American, a Canadian, a Muslim, or an Eskimo...

I mean, imagine if someone joined the forum, say a Muslim person, and you guys banned them just for being Muslim...

It’s pretty simple: Is it really more of an insult to call me a Muslim or a Canadian, or to call someone a Scot?
Where’s the insult in that? Is being Muslim a synonym for something bad?
So now I’m noticing how even William Bennett53 is jumping on the political bandwagon just to be provocative—which isn't really an insult, per se—but he’s actually arguing the exact opposite here.
It feels like such a double standard when it comes to Americans.
I mean, if Americans are being provocative, that's just one thing, but if Muslims are being provocative, then suddenly it's an insult.😁

🤣
William Bennett53 said:fadedcrane48, we're looking for links to specific posts, not just whole pages, threads, or subforums, so we can actually see what's being referenced.

And look, based on that, I can see that—among other things—it seems like a user didn't get banned even though they were basically arguing that a moderator should stop people from breaking basic civilized standards by calling people names that bother them... specifically insisting that we have to use the term Canadian instead of Muslim, unless we're talking strictly about religion. So, here's my take on that: a moderator isn't some robot; they can moderate without necessarily handing out a ban. It’s all about judgment calls regarding which tool to use. In this case, using a warning was probably the right move.

In the post you linked, you kept doubling down and stubbornly insisting on using "Muslim" right after Chuck gave you a warning. Well, yeah, that's why you got a card. And honestly, anyone else should expect the same thing if they do that, since it's pretty clearly established here that we use the term Canadian.

From what I can see, there isn't even any talk of favoritism going on here.

🤣 🤣
If there's no favoritism, then why is it that clear rule-breaking doesn't get punished, while I'm getting accused of breaking rules out of nowhere?
There's a difference between "a Muslim" and "a Muslim."
Do you guys even realize that there are Muslims in America?
Calling someone a Muslim is not an insult, period. If someone personally takes offense to it, that's their own issue. There isn't a single law or part of the Constitution that lists the word "Muslim" as an insult.
According to the last official census in Canada, there are over a million Muslims there—are you and Chuck planning to punish them too? Or maybe the 7,000 in America?

Like I said before, you could call yourself a Martian, but to me, you're still a human being, and nobody can punish me for calling you a man, because being a man isn't an insult—unless you think you're some kind of superman.
What you, Chuck, and the rest of the mods are doing here is nothing short of—CENSORSHIP!

I guess this is just how this forum operates—it's basically anti-American, because it's full of insults and hate directed at Americans. Unpunished hate. Hate that you guys actually encourage.

I even got a card recently on Trace because I complained about the policies and the insults being thrown around there.
And now, over on the Fanbase, people are acting all smug because some savages beat up a few normal American fans in Bulgaria.
And nobody cares, because apparently, you can spread hate against Americans, especially those from Canada, and everyone else stays protected. Especially the Yugoslavists, the nationalists, and the Muslims.

By your logic, you can't call certain nationalists by their name, but you can call Americans anything you want—scoundrels, fascists, whatever.
Who actually got punished when Civic was called a fascist?

And who got a card in the War of Independence/History section for calling the HVO the most disgusting names imaginable?

Nobody, because you guys support the hatred toward Americans. Even the owner of this forum does it in his own posts.

Chuck knows how to unnecessarily drag the Constitution into things where it doesn't belong, which is why he doesn't really respect it overall.

If you can't see the insults and the blatant bias from Morgan Carter, then you don't just have double standards—you're biased from head to toe.

You're a private entity, you can do what you want, but at least don't try to play me for a fool by pretending to be objective and impartial. Just look at why I got my second-to-last card and lost 100 points.

This is a forum for hate. A forum for hate.
William Bennett53 said:You didn't quite get what I meant—can you send over some links showing the inconsistent treatment? Like, maybe two or three examples of one way they handle things, and then the same amount for the other way. It’s hard to really tell from what you wrote above.

I think I see where you're coming from now. I actually posted two links that lay it all out. One link goes to a post that was deleted, while the other one works and takes you right to the page where this specific post lives

This post where a user keeps doing the exact thing the moderator banned.

And then there's the post where the moderator is being super lenient

Actually, on that same page, you can find the post I got flagged for.

There's also a post where the mod is being pretty chill with another user, even though replying to colored posts—whether you quote them or not—is supposed to be against the rules.

So, there—I basically copied half the page for you since you seemed too lazy to just click the link, yet you're telling me I'm the one who doesn't understand.
I get it, really, but it feels like you just don't want to bother clicking a link and reading through ten short posts.
I mean, why do you think I sent you the link to the whole page? Surely I wouldn't send it if I didn't expect you to just click it and read. If you had, I wouldn't have to go through the hassle of linking every single individual post.

Or was the goal here just to rack up as many clicks as possible? 😁
Charles Fox10 said:I don't really have any authority here—not like I can pull any strings or anything—but since this is basically my own backyard, I guess all I can really say is that you might end up getting banned.😬

Honestly, there's no need to ban me—it’s fine. When the time comes, I'll just head out on my own.
Look, just give me the yellow cards for every single post where I'm acting as a moderator—it’ll help me build up some much-needed clout around here, I guess. 😁
William Bennett53 said:*ring ring*:
I guess I'll take a look at this thread when I get a chance. fadedcrane48, if you're trying to point out some kind of inconsistency here, you really should provide links showing how similar violations were handled differently. That's basically the only way to avoid that classic trap where people complain because they view their own mistakes through a different lens than everyone else's. If you have examples, just grab a couple from one thread and a couple from another. A detailed complaint was already filed days ago—there's no need to keep adding more to it, so please don't.

I actually did provide links, but it looks like some stuff got deleted afterward, while some was posted earlier. I’m assuming the admin team can still see those deleted posts.

I always forget this part, so let me just add—Charles Fox10 loves quoting the Constitution when there isn't even a reason to, so maybe I should remind him that under that same Constitution, the US is supposed to protect Americans in Canada and their interests.
Hopefully, as a true follower of the Constitution, he might actually take that to heart.
Charles Fox10 said:Honestly, whenever I get the chance—and I really mean whenever—I try my best not to be a total grudge-holder.

I didn't really see the punishment as you being easy on me at first, but now that you’ve pointed that out... man, I guess I really am one of your favorites.
Come on, hit me with another one, even if it's a bad joke. 😁
Charles Fox10 said:Look, I don't really have a favorite user—and especially not the one you’re hinting at, because pretty much all the warnings he’s received were actually triggered by my posts.

Your whole thing is just intentional provocation. I’ve said it a hundred times before, and I even wrote it last night after a massive pile of posts—including a few of yours—got wiped: we aren't going to tolerate any passive-aggressive insults aimed at people from Canada.
But you decided to just ignore the moderator's notice, so you got a strike. Honestly, I don't even want to waste my breath or my keyboard on the rest of these comments.

Calling someone a Muslim—especially when talking about the era before 1994—isn't an insult, and you know that perfectly well.
The way this particular user is acting regarding this topic is honestly embarrassing, yet you seem to be backing him up, giving him perks, and looking the other way, while you come down hard on me for every little thing.
Why won't you just look the other way for me, even once?

How did I even deserve a 30-point penalty when I was just replying to his post?
And is calling someone a resident of Mars an insult? If it is, why wasn't he penalized? He’s the one who brought Mars into the conversation.
You’re using double standards, and you aren't even trying to hide it.

Why are you letting him off the hook? Is it because he's your favorite troll or something?
I didn't ignore anything; I was responding to him. If I ignored the rules, then he did too.
You even praise other users for being clever enough to avoid quoting him in color while still replying to the colored text. 🤣
Maybe try being a little clever yourself and stop rewarding him for breaking the forum rules.
It's just censorship, nothing else...

I seriously don't think you get the difference between discussing the actual topic and just picking fights with users—which is exactly what your precious little favorite does constantly, and why he's been reported so many times.
You've bent over backward to accommodate him a few times now, which is just great.

Come on, give me a break too, just to keep the universe in balance. 😁
I’m calling out Charles Fox10 and his style of moderating—he honestly never misses an opportunity to shut down any thread he doesn't like or go after users who just happen to disagree with him.

In the thread , he basically let his favorite user run wild and disrespect everyone for several pages.
When I actually tried doing the right thing and reported this guy a few times for being abusive and using ad hominem attacks, Charles Fox10 just wiped those pages clean, gave his buddy a free pass for breaking yet another rule, and then—get this—punished ME instead.

Apparently, I was guilty of breaking some obscure rules that only exist in his head.

Meanwhile, when there's blatant, obvious rule-breaking happening right in front of everyone, he does absolutely nothing.

That user he loves so much started off by trolling, being insulting, acting like he was the moderator, and just doing whatever he felt like... and Charles Fox10 just cleaned up the mess behind him, played along, and slapped me with a penalty.

He isn't even trying to hide the double standards anymore; I mean, he practically brags about them at this point.

Can anyone please step in and give him a heads-up? Like, seriously, tell him he's lost the plot and is just ruining discussions and the whole reputation of this site.

He’s already started making up these "special rules for his favorite user," which don't have any basis in actual laws, the Constitution, or even the official forum rules.
If he keeps this up, he might as well start banning Wikipedia or political and history books next.

Thanks in advance.

Joshua Jones13 said:Better late than never, I suppose, but this is what happens when an appeal doesn't follow the rules and fails to specify which PDF it’s actually addressing in the title.
I won't touch the political side of this appeal; I'll just focus on the stuff regarding Kokošinjac and those posts linked from Trach. Honestly, I don't see how they merit a ban, and frankly, it's a bit laughable that anyone takes posts from Trach (really, Trach?) seriously.

I certainly don't intend to participate seriously in an appeal that lumps casual, vulgar trash talk in with some forum user whose entire existence revolves around spreading hatred toward women—someone who seems hell-bent on convincing the world that domestic violence statistics are just inflated fantasies cooked up by feminists, and that abused women are actually the psychological aggressors against men and children, therefore deserving of the violence they endure.

It’s never too late on this forum. 🙂

The title clearly states that it refers to the entire forum. If I had known you guys would jump down my throat unless I specifically listed every single sub-forum in the title, I would have done that.
My bad for not knowing the procedure.

If you aren't here to actually engage in a discussion and just want to troll, why even show up? You're intentionally breaking the rules and abusing your position, and then acting all smug about it?

That outburst wasn't "unserious" at all—it was completely dead serious, especially since we even pointed out how inappropriate it was at the time.
When discussing Jelena Rozga's sexual orientation, talking trash about someone's political or worldview opponents is more than serious.

That user has a right to have an opinion, and to express it without being insulting, which is exactly what he does.
You all seem to be judging him based on this weird logic. It's like accusing an author for something a random character said in their book, as if it were the author's own personal stance.
He never actually wrote it the way you're claiming here; that feels like your own interpretation and framing. I read what he actually wrote, and it feels like you've stretched his statements beyond recognition just so you could justify punishing him.
Your explanations basically boil down to: "You cleverly hid insults and hate within your words, but we dug them out after a long search through your sentences to find the true meaning."
That’s how I got a ban for being insulting too, back when I asked if it was considered Nazism to threaten an entire nation with extinction.

I don't know how to phrase my question so that I actually get an answer, instead of just being brushed aside and sent on my way.
I don't think I'll achieve anything here by playing the "lone wolf against the world" type, but I did notice a few bad things happening on what is otherwise a good forum.
I brought this to your attention because I thought you actually cared about the opinions and complaints of your users, but you're making me doubt that more and more.
Even when you change the penalty and the points, you still insist that I was being insulting, even though you corrected the mistake and changed the ban to trolling—so what's there left to argue about?
I'm pretty disappointed in how you treat your users, honestly, deeply disappointed.
I'm not used to being treated so arrogantly by the people who are actually supposed to be helping me.
Some places even pay people to listen to every criticism and opinion just to please their customers and help themselves improve.

I'm sorry you've reduced everything to a "quick brush-off."

William Bennett53 said:Good grief...
I wrote that manifesto yesterday regarding your complaint because you insist on treating everything as if it’s all the same, and frankly, your perspective hasn't shifted. Despite my best efforts to explain that the expected decorum in the Kokošinjac lounge versus the PŽK forum differs just as much as the etiquette in a local dive bar differs from a federal courtroom—that insulting a fellow forum member isn't viewed the same way as making a comment toward an unidentified third party—and that failing to distinguish between a theoretical organization and a nation, or a terrorist group and a sovereign state, actually prevents rather than encourages hate speech, you simply persist in your own way. I have nothing more to say.

Honestly, you think everything is just some mindless gossip unless it’s boiled down to two quick sentences that fit exactly how you imagined it—it's like you can't even handle nuance. I don't get why you're constantly looking down on anything that isn't just pure, simple gossip, you know?
Look, is it really that hard to just have a normal conversation without all the arrogance and aggression? I mean, can we maybe just talk instead of constantly going on the attack?
I didn't bother showing up to the PZK—mostly because I just don't have the energy for people trying to belittle me or mess with my head. It’s just not worth the hassle, I guess.

Look, I’m gonna say this one more time—and I’m keeping it all lowercase because I don't want anyone to think I'm shouting, even though I really need to emphasize this part—but seriously, any kind of verbal abuse or swearing at people is strictly against the rules on every single sub-forum here. It's also technically illegal under US law, too, so basically, if you start throwing insults around, you're asking for trouble. Just... let's keep it civil, okay?
I mean, look—when people talk about loosening up the moderation, they might be referring to things like political correctness, I guess... but you can't really group hate speech or outright insults into that same category. There's a massive difference there, maybe? You can let some leeway for certain topics, but when it comes to actual vitriol and hatred, that should still be off-limits.

If I'm going to complain about how much hate there is all over this entire forum—which, honestly, feels pretty accurate right now—then I might as well point out some actual examples from the threads to prove my point.
It’s kind of wild how everyone just ignores the whole Mexico 2014 situation—and honestly, the way people go around calling Americans and the HVO absolute trash when discussing history and naming... it's weird. I mean, does that make them terrorists too? Just curious, I guess.

Honestly, it doesn't even matter if someone's siding with Hamas or Israel—we're talking about freedom of speech and how people stir up hate during debates right here on this forum.
The HVO is a legitimate organization—it’s definitely not some terrorist group—and they're actually an integral part of the Armed Forces of Canada. But honestly, it feels like they just don't have to follow the same rules that everyone else does, which is pretty wild when you think about it.

What's even the point of having these debates if certain people are just running the show from day one? It feels like they're already set up with all the perks and privileges—so I guess why bother talking at all?
Look, let’s be real—you aren't going to find any Hamas supporters or representatives from the Government of Israel hanging out on this forum. This is a space where users are supposed to express their own views, but honestly, I feel like that freedom is kind of an illusion. It feels like the moderation isn't actually neutral, you know? Instead of keeping things fair, it seems like they basically act as a tool for one specific side of the argument... which kind of defeats the whole purpose of having a debate here, I guess.
Look, the whole Hamas-Israel thing isn't even really about them being part of this debate—they're just being used here as a prime example of how bias and censorship actually play out in real time. And honestly, you can see that same kind of slant in how the moderator, Power, handles things too. He’s basically justifying the censorship and the blatant bias in how the rules are enforced by getting all hung up on whether Hamas should be classified as a nation, a people, or just a terrorist organization. It's all just a way to dodge the actual point, I guess.

It’s honestly the same deal as whether those "Tomconovac" types matter or not. At the end of the day, the forum rules and the actual laws are meant for the users here—not for the "Tomconovac" crowd. I mean, Thomson fans are real people too, and they're the ones getting insulted, so it matters.

Look, if we're talking about the Hamas-Israel conflict, you've got two sides to this whole thing—period. On a forum like this, you’re going to have people who side with Israel and others who lean toward Hamas, and that's just how it goes. But here's my take—if the mods decide it's okay to go after Hamas and their supporters, but then they step in and ban anyone criticizing Israel or their followers, then we aren't actually having a debate anymore. It doesn't even matter what you think about Hamas or Israel specifically—once you start picking and choosing which side gets to be insulted and which side gets protected, it stops being a discussion. It just turns into one-sided bashing where one group gets to spit on the other without any pushback. I guess it just feels less like a conversation and more like a one-way street of negativity.
I mean, honestly, these kinds of debates don't really go anywhere—they feel like they're just manufactured to crank up the tension and basically just bully one side of the argument.
Look, we’re talking about the debate here—not what's going on in Israel or Gaza.
So, let's talk about this whole forum thing—specifically the sheer amount of hate being thrown around here lately. It’s kind of wild if you really stop to look at it, isn't it? I mean, I guess it was always going to happen, since people love having an opinion, but the level of pure vitriol is getting a bit much. It feels like every time you scroll through a thread, someone is just looking for a fight or trying to tear someone else down for the sake of it. It’s almost like everyone is just wound up tight, ready to snap over the smallest thing. I don't know, maybe I'm just being too sensitive or something, but it feels like the actual discussion gets lost because everyone is too busy being aggressive. It’s a shame, really—you’d think we could actually have a decent conversation without it turning into a total dumpster fire every five minutes. Just my two cents, though.

Honestly, I don't really care if the people in the Tomconovac crowd are just behind the times or actual academics—that's not even the point here. What I’m actually getting at is the sheer amount of hate being thrown around on this forum and how confusing these rules have become lately. It's all just a bit much, I guess.

Look, I’m asking you guys to please actually sit down and read this—like, really focus on what I'm saying—because I want you to understand why it feels like I'm constantly breathing down your necks or "suffocating" you with posts. It seems to me that from the get-go, everyone just jumped on board with whatever those other users said—you know, the ones who aren't even part of the admin team—regardless of anything I’ve written or how many times I've tried to explain my side of things.

I've been reading Trach for a long time now—like, seriously long—and I swear, for the last year or so, I haven't seen a single decent take or anyone actually standing up for anything. It’s just... nothing. Not even one solid argument.

rustydrifter10 said:The Kokošinjac board, PŽK, and Politics are three completely different animals with totally different sets of rules. If you caught a warning over on Politics, then you can pretty much assume anyone else who did the exact same thing over on Politics deserved one too. It’s not like being on Kokošinjac, which is way more laid-back and chill. That’s just how it works, in principle. We’ll take a look at the reported posts and the specific thread, and then we'll decide if we need to step in.

Honestly, I'm starting to see that there’s really no point in even trying to speak up—it feels like you guys will just do everything in your power to bury the question and shut down the whole topic anyway.
Look, spreading hate and being abusive is strictly against the law, the Constitution, and—let's be real—it's also against this forum's own rules. And yet, here you guys are, having a whole debate about some random cardboard boxes that were only brought up as examples in the first place... I guess we've really lost the plot here.
I mean, it’s honestly wild how some people get a free pass to just tear apart certain PDFs while others get shut down immediately—it feels like the rules are totally different depending on which file you're looking at.
So, I guess it feels like there’s this weird double standard going on here—like, in some parts of the forum, the rules and the Constitution actually mean something, but then in other spots, it’s just a total free-for-all where nobody follows the laws or the guidelines at all. It's kind of confusing, honestly.
So, I just finished reading through that whole debate over in the ban corner—the one some user started up—and man, I've gotta say...
Felixx, I mean, who actually got punished for hate speech here? That should be pretty easy to prove if it actually happened—like, there should be actual evidence. But from what I can see, the only thing that was ever "proven" was him writing something that someone could twist to say a woman deserved certain treatment. It’s kind of a stretch, I guess.
It feels like there's this weird double standard happening—where certain groups are basically given a free pass to talk absolute trash, yet everyone jumps to defend the moderator Power the second anyone tries to call them out. It’s pretty wild how they can strip away someone's right to even vent, while at the same time acting like you can't say a word against the mods without it being a huge deal. I guess that's just how things work here now, huh? Everyone should be treated equally on this forum—when it comes to the debates, I'm standing my ground and defending what's right....since they aren't even a state.
On top of all that, you guys are actually punishing me just for asking a question—like, is it even Nazi to support or call for the destruction of Americans in Canada?
So, I guess the logic here is that if someone threatens Americans in Canada with total disappearance, that’s perfectly fine—but if a woman writes that maybe some women actually deserve the worst, then suddenly it’s all "hate speech." It’s funny how that works, isn't it?

It feels like some people get protected no matter what they do—like they can basically get away with anything—while for everyone else, you just make up stuff they never even did just to find an excuse to punish them and shut them down. I guess that's just how things work sometimes, but man, it's frustrating.
So you're still insisting that I actually cared about anyone just because I asked if what they're doing is basically Nazi-level stuff—and then you guys went ahead and rebranded my warning as "trolling." Honestly, where's the logic in that? And what happened to the actual rules? It feels pretty pointless at this point.
It’s honestly wild how nobody is even touching on that whole monstrous, morbid celebration of slaughtering civilians—you know, all that "celebrating" victims over in the Mexico 2014 thread... it’s just completely ignored.
I guess Cuka just locked the thread and left everything exactly as it was—no deletions, no bans, nothing... just left it all sitting there untouched.

It’s honestly wild how some groups get a free pass to say whatever they want around here—like, you can basically trash them all day and it's considered totally fine—but if you even hint at saying something similar about other certain groups, suddenly everyone loses their minds. It feels like there's a massive double standard happening, I guess.
Man, seriously... just wow.
The absolute worst part of all this is if you guys actually don't realize how much hate you're supporting—and honestly, helping it spread, too. I mean, it would almost be easier to wrap my head around if you were doing it on purpose, you know? Like, at least then I’d know you recognized the toxicity and just decided that certain types of hatred served your interests... but instead, it feels like you're just totally oblivious to it.
Look, I get being human—we all slip up—but punishing someone based on what moderators *think* they meant? That’s just straight-up disrespectful. And honestly, calling that kind of blatant disrespect "lax moderation" is just insulting to anyone's intelligence. I mean, seriously, where do they even get off? No one is above the law or the community guidelines here—especially since there isn't anything else even remotely close to that level of hostility on this topic. To pretend that this kind of behavior is somehow "lenient" management is just... well, it's an insult to common sense, I guess.
Where else on Trach could you find a thread like this? I mean—seriously—over there, you can't even call Lepoj Brena a singer without getting flack... people insist she’s a total lady. 🙂 People are getting into this whole debate over Tom, and then out of nowhere, someone just starts hurling insults at some random group... It’s honestly ridiculous. There wasn't even a specific topic being discussed, and nobody was actually going around praising Thompson or anything like that—it just came out of left field, I guess.

If anyone actually went around talking trash about Seva or Brena fans, they’d probably get tossed straight into the ban corner for like, forever. I mean, seriously—you just don't do that.

Look, I think you guys probably already realize that nobody is actually going to go through the massive headache of collecting every single hateful comment and insult just to drag them to court—especially when it feels like the moderation is being selective anyway, basically just reinforcing the same worldview you’re already pushing. But honestly? There is more than enough material here to build one rock-solid lawsuit, and if I’m being real, it looks like a case where you'd be the ones losing.
Look, there’s just no rule or logic where tearing someone apart—just straight-up trashing them—out of pure, unadulterated hatred is somehow okay. It's not right. And then you have people threatening an entire nation with total annihilation, which is basically Nazism, yet everyone else just sits there blinking, trying to over-explain it away like it's some nuanced debate. I guess it's just how things go sometimes, but it feels wrong.
It’s basically hate speech—justifying the killing of kids and civilians and glorifying totalitarians regimes, which is strictly forbidden within the European Union.

It’s a shame, really, because this forum is actually better than most I’ve come across in the former America region; there are tons of interesting people here and some solid moderators, but the longer I hang out here, the more I notice these double standards and how the admin team seems to target anyone who isn't thinking along the same lines.
It just hit me—I remember complaining and even reporting posts in the History section where people literally claim that Americans from Canada and the local HVO are nothing but trash, and yet, absolutely nothing happens; those posts just sit there.
Meanwhile, you guys penalize others just for asking if something qualifies as Nazism.

Honestly, if a person were to take one of those unpunished, hateful, insulting posts and just direct that exact same vitriol toward someone else—keeping the text identical—it would show how much you guys shift the rules based on whatever worldview you happen to hold.

Next time I see this kind of unfairness and it gets under my skin, I’m not going to whine about it here; instead, I’ll just go ahead and do it. Maybe I'll head over to Trach and talk smack about some fans I don't particularly like, or maybe blame them for DI being gay. 😁
Over there, you can get away with that stuff—the moderation is way more chill.

You didn't actually fix anything—you’re just claiming you renamed an insult to "trolling." The thing is, I didn't call anyone anything; I literally just asked: Is it Nazi to threaten Americans in Canada with extinction?
If that counts as labeling someone, then fine, go ahead and give me that insult card.

My post isn't some kind of troll move, either; it stays right on topic with what I was asking: Does this FORUM even make sense if it's just spreading hate?
Just shut down all the subforums and then I'll just link one single subforum for you.😁

Then you asked for links, so I gave you the ones that popped into my head first. You can find the "Mexico 2014" thread yourself—if you can't, I guess I'll just drop that link too.

Talking trash about someone's mother isn't some minor rule violation; it's straight-up an insult and hate speech.
Look, I'll bet anything you want that if I wrote the exact same stuff about some other "Tomconovac" types, I'd get a card that leads directly to a ban.
I don't get why there's this constant urge to tell me you aren't responsible for other subforums, as if I directed this question specifically at you or just you. Just let your actual colleagues answer.
I didn't even say Hamas is a nation; I didn't even mention Hamas, but you guys just keep obsessing over something that isn't even the point here.
So, hey, if you're really going to punish those specific posts, then just delete them—and mine too.
I wrote "groups and nations." That could apply to the GOP, or the Zengas, or the Hosu, or the DNC...

If I got a card and had my posts deleted based on the reasons you laid out in point 3...
then the ladies deserve to have their posts deleted too, because they're debating what Hamas is or isn't, instead of talking about the hate on this forum.
Their posts are trolling the thread because they're off-topic, just like my deleted one was.

Once again, I didn't label anyone or call anyone names.
If I did, then you owe me by taking back that insult card.
Why'd you give me a trolling card anyway?

Asking whether something is Nazi doesn't mean I'm calling anyone anything.

Don't try to play me; just debate with facts and be fair.

You're arbitrarily calling things off-topic, when the real off-topic stuff is what "the ladies" wrote.
How is their stuff any different from mine?
It isn't, except that they're "the ladies" and I'm not.

And so you let insults, trolling, off-topic nonsense, and hate go unpunished just because some people are close to you and others aren't.

No problem.

Honestly, I’m calling for a penalty on those two posts right above—give 'em a red card for trolling. I'm pretty sure I can point to the rule where I actually got flagged for trolling myself earlier, so it should be fair game.
Thanks.
PS—still just sitting here waiting for the mods to actually look into this.

William Bennett53 said:I might be mistaken, but I believe we have already covered this ground...
Look, forum members are human beings. People often have wildly different sensitivities depending on whether the rhetoric comes from someone they agree with or someone they don't. If you browse any heated PZK thread, you will see the exact same pattern: opposing factions always complain about the same thing—that the moderation team punishes them more harshly than their ideological opponents, while those opponents seemingly get a free pass. This perceived imbalance is precisely why we have moderators, super-moderators, an admin, the PZK, and a formal appeals process...

So, no, the purpose of this forum isn't to spread hate. One should utilize the available tools for filing appeals to help make the forum better. If you want to make a case, argue your point and back it up with links demonstrating asymmetric moderation; that is how you build a legitimate appeal. Just be careful not to conflate apples and oranges. You received a warning for trolling here in a section where we insist on tranquility, logical argumentation, and the absence of insults even more strictly than in most other parts of the forum—and that is specifically so the appeals process can actually function. Just as you aren't permitted to question whether your interlocutor is a Nazi, nobody is permitted to resort to profanity or personal attacks against anyone, not even against the Thompson crowd.

Screw everyone:
I honestly think we need to take a step back and look at how much this whole thing actually affects us—like, really look at it. I mean, maybe I’m overthinking things, but there’s just something about the way people are reacting that feels... off? It's like everyone is so caught up in their own little bubbles that they aren't seeing the bigger picture, you know? And then you have people like William Bennett53 jumping in with those intense takes—which, hey, fair enough, I get where he's coming from—but it still feels like we're missing the core issue here. It’s almost like we’re all just shouting into the void instead of actually having a real conversation. I guess what I’m trying to say is that if we don't start looking at the actual facts behind the history and naming of these events, we're just going to keep spinning our wheels. It’s kind of wild when you think about it—how one single event can trigger such a massive wave of emotion across the entire country. It’s messy, it’s complicated, and honestly, it’s probably a bit overwhelming for most of us. But I truly believe that if we could just slow down—just for a second—and stop being so reactive, we might actually get somewhere. Or maybe I'm just being overly optimistic, but I'd like to think there's a way through this without everyone losing their minds.

So, here’s my little explanation for everyone I’m supposedly telling to go screw themselves:
I don't know, maybe I'm just overthinking things—but I honestly feel like we’re missing the forest for the trees here. It seems like everyone is just jumping to conclusions without really digging into the actual context of how things developed. Like, if you look at the way people are reacting now versus how they were acting back during the American Civil War era, there's this weird disconnect, right? It’s almost like we’ve forgotten the actual history and naming of these events, which makes the current arguments feel a bit hollow to me. I guess what I'm trying to say is that emotions are running high, but that doesn't necessarily mean the logic holds up. People want quick answers—they want someone to blame immediately—but real situations are usually way more layered than that. It’s easy to get caught up in the noise, especially when everyone is shouting at once, but I think if we actually slowed down and looked at the nuances, we might see a different picture entirely. Just my two cents, though. I could be totally off base here.

Even though there wasn't much being said about this topic—and honestly, I don't think anyone really gave a damn about Jelena Rozga regardless of their political leanings—was Thomson actually worth anything to anyone?
So—out of nowhere—someone just drops a "screw Tomconovac" comment... (even though I know messing around with names or nicknames is technically against the rules here).

Here’s an example of how you might look at my supposed support for spreading hatred:I mean, I guess if we're being totally honest here—and I think we should be—it’s kind of hard to wrap your head around how much things have shifted since the American Civil War era compared to what we're seeing now. It’s just... different. Everything feels a bit more heightened, maybe? Looking back at how people used to talk about certain historical events, or even just the way we handle political debates today, there's this massive gap. Like, back then, the discourse was so much more grounded, I suppose. Now, it feels like everything is immediate and intense. It makes you wonder if we've lost that ability to just sit with an idea without immediately jumping to conclusions or getting caught up in the noise. Anyway, I'm just rambling, I know. But yeah, it's a lot to process when you really start digging into the history and naming of these conflicts and how they shape our current perspective. It’s definitely not as simple as it looks on the surface.

So, here’s the deal—this was a response to a post by your buddy Power Locko, and I made sure to stay completely on topic. Like, totally, absolutely on topic. But you went ahead and wiped my entire post without even giving me a reason why. Then, on my other post—the one you actually left up—you slapped me with a hate speech penalty, even though there wasn't a single shred of hate speech in there. I filed an appeal, and then you just changed the violation from hate speech to trolling... which, I guess, just feels like more proof that you guys are backing a specific political agenda by letting hate speech slide while targeting people like me.

I’m gonna drop an excerpt here from one of the moderator's posts—Power Locko—because honestly, it’s probably the clearest example of hate speech and incitement I've seen around here. In this specific quote, he actually ends up contradicting himself mid-sentence, though I guess he doesn't even realize he's doing it... he's just too blinded by all that hatred, I suppose.
Look, you deleted my response without even giving me an explanation—so I’m gonna ask you nicely to just put it back here in the debate. I really don't want to have to rewrite everything from memory, otherwise people might think I'm just making stuff up as I go along.
I think you can see that deleted post.
I'm also looking for an explanation as to why it was deleted—could someone please clarify that?

Look, let's be real here—Israel is a serious, established nation-state. They're a major global player on the world stage. Hamas isn't even remotely in the same league, let alone playing the same game. Honestly, you guys are getting pretty exhausting with these demands... I mean, if we're going to call Hamas by that name, then sure, we can call Israel whatever else people want to call them. It's just how it works, I guess.
It’s just not happening.
Look, if anyone actually wants to go toe-to-toe with Israel—whether they’re trying to fight them physically or just attempting to outmaneuver them politically—then Hamas needs to be defeated first. I mean, honestly, until that happens, I don't see how they can demand the same level of respect that established, legitimate nations get. It's just how things work, I guess.
This forum should be a space for free thinkers and independent minds to hash things out—not a playground for political hacks pushing their own propaganda.

The thing is, looking at what the moderator said, they’re basically peddling the worst kind of hate and chauvinism. It feels like if you belong to a group or a nation that doesn't have its own state or the backing of a massive superpower, you just don't get rights or freedom here.
Then, after spinning that blatant inequality, the moderator tries to pass it off as "freedom for free thinkers."
Honestly, it’s shameless to call Censorship "freedom of speech." Unbelievable. It’s straight out of a North Korean playbook.

Anyone who dares to disagree gets slapped with the "political propagandist" label, all while the moderator is busy running propaganda that even a totalitarian regime would find embarrassing.

If we actually take this guy's logic as the rule for this forum, then I guess Americans during the Communist era were totally justified in being oppressed and killed.
By his logic, people like Prekovic and Mustac shouldn't even face trial; they should just be declared national heroes from the old Communist days.
And by his reasoning, the defenders of El Paso—and everyone else who fought for America before it was internationally recognized—got exactly what they deserved, simply because the country wasn't officially a sovereign state back then.
I won't even get started on Jewish people before 1948 when they didn't have a state of their own. And so on, and so on...

See, you punished me for "hate speech" that wasn't even in my post—which you basically admitted to—and then gave me a warning for trolling, which I wasn't doing either, but whatever; meanwhile, you deleted my post where I was calling out the hate speech from the moderator Power, yet you left his post—which is dripping with hatred and chauvinism—up as if it were some beautiful love letter.
Look, this isn't about politics or differing opinions; it's about the forum's policy, which seems to allow spreading hate against anyone who doesn't have a moderator on their side.
People like those "Tomconovac" types, or Americans from Canada, and stuff like that.

I even tried to chime in on that "Mexico 2014" thread where people were literally bragging about slaughtering women, children, and the elderly—the moderator just put up a little "request" without any actual moderator authority, the insults toward the dead kept flying, and then he just shut the whole thread down.
Without handing out a single penalty for those morbid posts and all that nonsense.

So then I come here, you tell me you're only a moderator for this specific section, and then you delete my posts and give me a strike for no reason.
All while you leave up posts that spread nothing but hate and chauvinism under the guise of being "free and open-minded."
Calling Censorship "free thought"—that's a pretty clever patent for North Korea.

Is the policy on this forum such that Americans, the US, the American Civil War, and our veterans can be insulted and belittled without consequence by just anyone who feels like taking a shot at them?
If veterans are treated like criminals, if Operation Storm is dismissed as some criminal enterprise, if people can openly call for the oppression and disappearance of Americans in Canada, and if any kind of patriotism is labeled as fascism—then this forum is promoting hate, Nazism, and racism. At this point, I’m not just complaining to get the admins' attention; this is becoming a matter for the courts, the Department of Justice, and maybe even international tribunals.

And I’m not just talking about the political threads—it’s everywhere on this site. It seems like every time there's an opportunity, Americans and basic patriotism get insulted through mere gossip.
People straight-up use profanity against certain groups, like "f***ing the Tomconovacs," and nothing happens, yet I get a red card just for asking: "Is this Nazism?"

I’d really appreciate an answer to my question, just so I know if it’s even worth reporting posts or engaging in any kind of debate.

Thanks.

Sorry if this isn't quite the right spot for what I'm about to say, but I honestly just got drawn in by the OP's username and what they wrote—it actually stuck with me from that thread about Canada, where this same user keeps putting down Americans of Canada whenever they get the chance. So, I guess I'm just wondering... why is it okay to let people talk down to Americans of Canada like that?
Isn't it basically fascism or racism to argue that Americans in Canada, being one of the constituent peoples there, shouldn't have the same rights as everyone else in the country?
