Anyone still running Windows 7?

I'm trying to figure out how to apply specific folder view settings globally across my entire computer.
The thing is, I can't seem to find the "Apply to All Folders" button in my current settings. It’s just not clickable.
My assumption is that I need to go into a specific folder, tweak the view parameters there, and then tell the OS to push those settings to every other folder—kind of like how things used to work back in the Windows XP days.
If there's an expert out there who knows the workaround, I'd really appreciate the help.🙂
