Why are we so attracted to people who are unavailable?

I’ve totally noticed this pattern with myself—whenever someone starts acting distant or unavailable, they suddenly become way more attractive...
Like, if some guy is constantly flirting with me and I'm feeling it, I don't even care that much. But the second I realize he's cooling off or shifting his focus to someone else? Boom. Suddenly he's all I can think about, and I'm already over here plotting my next move just to get him interested again. Anyone else deal with this? 😁
