I've been dealing with debilitating lower back pain for years now, especially after sitting too long or whenever I try to get moving...

My RTG results mention "Schmorl's nodes"... does anyone actually know what that entails? Maybe an MRI would provide more clarity.

Specifically, what does this Schmorl's node business actually mean for me?

A while back, I actually went to some recordings over at Cavke's—though, goodness knows if they still accept Medicare referrals, so you might want to give them a ring and check.

No, I didn't ask at Rib. It didn't even cross my mind. I'm not from NYC, so I don't know all the hospitals. I'll check when I'm there on Monday.

I'm losing my mind over this. Spoke to the doctor today and she says she can't keep me on medical leave for this long. And get this—my knee hurts like hell. Sometimes I jerk in my sleep at night and the pain is agonizing. I can't fully bend it or straighten it. I can't even put weight on it because it hurts so much...

So how am I supposed to get all these tests done by the end of July when I can't get an appointment anywhere, and I can't stay on leave? Figure that one out.

I booked a private appointment with an orthopedist since it isn't too expensive, but I have to wait until July 26th because our doctors are all on vacation and booking for September or later... This country is a joke.

Well, I just got off the phone with them, and now they aren't even taking anyone until eleven months from now. I'm losing my mind. What kind of country are we living in? It's pathetic.

I need to find an MRI facility in Washington, D.C., besides those near the Holy Spirit, Vineyard, or Oakwood areas. It’s urgent... had a workplace injury and my knee is killing me. My earliest appointment at the Holy Spirit clinic isn't until November, which is way too late.

Does anyone know if there's another hospital in NYC with an MRI, or maybe somewhere out in the Varaždin area or Karlovac County? Looking for any clinic that accepts Medicare referrals...
