Alonso after the race: “Today, unfortunately, we were very unlucky. After making a good start, I collided with Vettel at the second corner: it was a surprise to find him there, almost stopped and I don’t know what speed he was doing

Seriously, how can anyone read that quote and not see exactly what the man was implying? He's clearly suggesting that the little yellow guy was intentionally blocking him—there's no ambiguity there. Like I said before, those German drivers have always been cutthroat, and they always will be... just ask Damon Hill or Jacques Villeneuve if you need proof.

First off, it's not like Pastor Maldonado has ever made a mistake—and don't even get me started on Felipe Massa... let's just say that wall in Monaco practically jumped out in front of his car.😬 🤣

Secondly, I find it impossible to believe that Fernando Alonso actually claimed he wasn't at fault and tried to pin it on someone else... Look, regardless of what you think of Alonso, he isn't quite amateur enough to resort to those kinds of excuses.

Like I mentioned, I'm looking for that specific quote right after the race (or maybe during it), but I can't seem to track it down.

I don't think there's much debate here—Vettel intentionally braked. It feels like one of those calculated moves that seems baked into the German DNA.

“This season, there were times when I did not do well enough, such as when I could have had a little more performance, or when I made a mistake like in Malaysia.

Or, to put it plainly—I blew it in Malaysia...

That statement came a full year after the fact... right after the race, he was saying something completely different.
And even the "mistake" he's admitting to here refers to the neodlazak to the pits during the first lap.

He’s insisting he didn't.

I can't help but think about that whole situation where Alonso decided to go out of his way to take out a title rival.🤣

I can't seem to track down any post-race interviews anywhere... I know Alonso said something along the lines of his braking being "stronger than expected."
Honestly, it doesn't even matter—given the forecast, we’re looking at another wet one this year. If things stay slippery, Sebastian Vettel actually has a shot!☕

P. S. Honestly, what’s gotten into you lately? You’re becoming so objective—it’s almost suspicious. I feel like at this rate, you’ll be the first one stepping up to admit that Alonso is actually the more competent driver...😁
Fernando Alonso always seems to find his rhythm at the Grand Prix of Malaysia—he snagged his first pole here and managed three wins with three different teams. He really should have walked away with the trophy last year too, but that little yellow car decided to brake just a bit too aggressively entering Turn 2.

Alright, so using our current time, what time does the race actually start?

I swear, I spend half the year manually resetting my clocks to winter time... it’s such a chore to keep adjusting them!🙂
