Women are villains, men are saints in Psychology ·
Nora is feeling miserable. As specified by:
It seems being born female is essentially the worst-case scenario. That probably explains why most people jump for joy the second they find out they’re having a son.

I have a theory, but I’m not going to lay it all out right now.

Should I feel ashamed just because I'm a woman?

How could anyone possibly fall for such absolute nonsense? I like women.

It looks like being female is being treated as the ultimate misfortune. I suppose that’s why so many people celebrate when they find out they’re having a son. Honestly, this whole mess probably traces back to Adam. But why such sweeping generalizations? Does this criticism apply to older generations, or just the younger ones? Is it meant to be universal? Should I feel ashamed simply because I am a woman? And why are feminists constantly being belittled? Would these critics actually prefer if things hadn't changed—if women were still stuck at home without any rights at all?

It’s simple logic. If you're chasing absolute equality in every single capacity, then by all means, go sign up for heavy labor—digging in quarries, firefighting, construction, or joining the military. I’m not saying those roles don't exist for women, but let’s be realistic: a woman weighing 150 pounds isn't going to perform identically to a rancher weighing 250. To avoid any misunderstanding, I am fully in favor of gender equality; I don't believe for a second that a woman should be excluded... 😉There’s a designated spot in the kitchen, but if we actually achieved total and absolute equality, one group wouldn't be labeled "men" and the other "women," would they?

The primary reason I find feminism laughable is pretty simple: they claim to want equality, yet they spend their time bashing men and insisting they don't need them. It’s a contradiction. If you bother to look at the Bible, it’s clear that men and women are meant to be together—one can't function without the other. From that perspective, modern feminism looks less like a movement for equality and more like pure chauvinism. It is blatant, forced hypocrisy. To me, this version of feminism has nothing to do with true gender equality; it feels more like an Inquisition where a good intention spiraled completely out of control.

God help us.

I can't say I agree with the title itself, let alone the premise.

Even Windows XP isn't some kind of magic bullet. What exactly does all my games entail? Try putting an Amiga floppy disk into an XP machine and see how much fun you have. It will run everything within a reasonable timeframe, but you can't realistically expect Windows 7 to support every single thing that was a hit back in the Windows 98 era.🤷

I'd prefer to keep Windows 7, but I have no idea if it can handle everything my XP setup does (games, software, etc.). Can anyone help me decide?

Ditch XP. Personally, I think XP was superior, but here we are. Keeping XP nowadays is basically like being stuck on Windows 98. Life moves forward; you can't afford to fall behind. Windows 7 covers all the necessary programs, and everything will be fully optimized for Windows 7 soon enough—not for XP. Within a year, nothing new will even run on XP.

I prefer XP, but you really need to move forward.

Then again, there's no harm in keeping the dual boot. Stick with XP for a little while longer, and once everything has transitioned over to Windows 7, getting rid of XP will be easy enough.

👍 I went through the pages three times specifically so I wouldn't miss it... and wouldn't you know it... I missed it. 🙂

Jimi Hendrix - Purple Haze

How did nobody think of this? 😉

My mistake, I didn't read the full title... I thought we were looking for songs about the experience, not necessarily tracks created under its influence...

Though, it’s entirely possible this one was inspired by drugs too...
