Maybe a little you're overreacting, but honestly, I'd much rather deal with that than someone who's just rude and unrefined. It feels like decent people are getting harder to find lately, so meeting someone like you is actually a breath of fresh air! To quote Billy Joel: "There are enough old-fashioned folks among us to save the world." 🙂
