I honestly don't know if I'm just being an idiot or what, but seriously, I’m about two seconds away from taking a sledgehammer to this thing...
Everything is great when I have a huge load of laundry—I'm loving it!
But the second I have just a few items to wash, it refuses to spin...
The other day I did a bathrobe, a baby playpen, and a little pillow. Put them on a standard cycle, and when it finished, I went to pull them out and realized it didn't even drain the water... okay, fine, I tried a dedicated spin cycle and it counts down 7, 6, 5... then immediately jumps to 1 and "End"!! Like, hello? End? It did nothing... so I pulled everything out and ran an empty cycle... that worked. I put the playpen back in and it worked. Same with the pillow and the robe...
But today, I'm trying to wash this tiny bathroom rug and I've been fighting with the spin cycle for over half an hour... I've tried everything, even the quick cycles, it washes perfectly fine, but the spin just won't happen...
Seriously, how much brainpower does it take to turn the dial to spin and hit play?!?!
(Sorry for the rant, but I honestly want to chuck this machine out the window, and my husband is asleep so I can't vent to him)
Mine does the exact same thing whenever I wash a single small item, and it only happens with those. It just won't spin. Perhaps it finds the workload too intimidating?!! Yet, strangely enough, I can pack it full of clothes and it runs without a single hiccup; I cannot make head or tail of it either.😕

I don't see that as a good enough reason to start drawing hard lines with my mom. God knows I drive her crazy sometimes too with my own comments and just being a bit too stubborn for my own good.😁
To me, it’s just a generational gap. I remember so clearly when my late grandma—who basically raised and fed me—would constantly nag my mom because her skirt was too short or why she wasn't eating enough spinach and should be setting a better example for me. And then what?!
In my book, these are just trivial little things that happen in life and might throw you off balance for a second, but they aren't major dealbreakers that should lead to cutting ties or just being stubborn for the sake of it.
We can say whatever we want now, but anyone who has actually experienced the kind of love grandparents give—and that specific way they let you get away with all the stuff your parents won't allow—knows it's an amazing experience that rarely does any harm in the long run.
Because a kid had a few extra sweets? No way am I going to stop them from hanging out with their grandparents over something like that. 🙂
I couldn't agree more.
I honestly refuse to lose any sleep over leaving my child with the grandparents. I mean, really, how else were we raised in this country?!!
Oh, I’m sure they won't cause any harm, at least not intentionally. So the sentiment is basically—just let them go for it!!!

😂😂😂😂😂😂
If I may add my own little grievance to this collection of tedious complaints:
There is nothing quite as infuriating as being mid-drive when you suddenly realize your windshield is filthy, only to engage the washer fluid and have the wipers promptly smear a stray, dried leaf right across the center of your vision—a little surprise that, naturally, I failed to notice while sitting in the parking lot.
I’ve taken a bit of a deep dive into the posts made by this individual over on the discount thread, and frankly, it seems she’s looking to stock up on everything under the sun—from high-end skincare to baby gear. It feels less like genuine necessity and more like she’s trying to run a side hustle out of her living room. At any rate, I find her approach just as aggravating as everyone else does...

I couldn't agree more; I’ve practically resorted to wearing a kitchen apron around the house just to cope. Honestly, I find myself bumping my belly against every doorframe and wall I pass... poor little thing, it feels like it’s taking constant hits from a heavyweight boxer.
To make matters worse, I have become so incredibly clumsy that it's bordering on infuriating; things just seem to slip right out of my hands constantly. Just yesterday, I managed to lose my apartment keys entirely, only for my landlord to hand them back to me this morning, explaining that the sanitation workers found them in the trash because I had accidentally tossed them out with the garbage. Well, can you blame me for being a complete disaster?!!
Unfortunately, this is just part of the pregnancy experience—the bloating, the constipation... and that constant hunger😉.... plus a whole host of other things you’ll eventually discover for yourself😂
For instance, my complexion turned completely gray about two weeks ago, and without makeup, I look like a raccoon🤷
It is quite literally a different state of being😉
People honestly seem to have lost their minds. I’ll go through all the effort of toning up and showing a bit of cleavage and my curves because I feel like I'm finally getting a handle on my body again—and frankly, I look like a stunning pregnant woman. Yet, there are certain individuals out there who are so twisted and judgmental that I am genuinely left speechless.
People truly believe they have some sort of divine authority to lecture others; apparently, having zero children themselves somehow makes one an expert on how I should manage my unborn baby. It’s quite the spectacle. Since I can't exactly walk up to them in public and give them a piece of my mind without causing a scene, I find myself sitting here, practically trembling with indignation on this forum... just once...
1. My brother-in-law had the audacity to suggest that the name I chose for my little girl is absolutely dreadful, claiming she refuses to call her that because she’s convinced the child should be named Rose—though, in all fairness to her, I certainly won't be letting her dictate what name my daughter carries.
2. Then there are the unsolicited critiques regarding my baby bump being "too small," as if these people fail to grasp the basic biological reality that a fetus doesn't simply develop in the glutes and thighs.
3. To top it all off, the phone calls have started rolling in over the last week, all with the same repetitive inquiry: "So, have you had the baby yet?" Honestly, I am only 37 years old; I am not attempting to pull off some sort of clandestine, undercover pregnancy that I'm hiding from the public eye, so I truly cannot fathom the logic behind the interrogation.
