I'm running into the exact same thing here,, so I think I'll try that approach too to see what's happening under the hood.. Interestingly, if I just leave the machine running without shutting it down, it seems fine—like it could run forever--but the second I power it off, I have a hell of a time getting it back up. That's when that dreaded Blue Screen of Death with all those error messages starts popping up...
So, I’m looking at $7750 for the $133 versus $650 for the $150—which one is actually the better bet? I'm looking for something a bit more modern that can actually handle newer games without dying on me immediately... obviously, both are being sold used on eBay or Craigslist... I've currently got an Intel Xeon 5410 running on a 775 motherboard—using an adapter, of course—paired with 4 GB of DDR2 RAM. XFX tends to have a slightly weaker heatsink design—there’s also been some chatter about their capacitors being a step behind the competition, though I honestly don't know how much weight to give those rumors.
I ended up grabbing the more expensive model and the power supply, so now I'm hunting for a used processor on eBay—looking for a quad-core rather than a dual-core... 😉this is just one of those hobbies I dive into whenever I have some downtime—just scrolling, asking questions, and learning as I go...

Man, if I actually tried overclocking, I’d probably end up breaking something... though hey, thanks for the suggestion! If I were to go out and hunt for a new processor that would play nice with a 7750, what would you guys recommend? My current setup feels alright, but since it doesn't support DX11, I'm totally locked out of the newest stuff. I can get Assassin's Creed IV to run, but man, Battlefield 4 and the new Call of Duty just won't budge.

I was running an ATI HD 3870 before... (it’s been running like a total snail lately, man, it’s easily five years old now, plus it can't even handle DX11)... but man, the jump in performance I'm getting by picking up this new card is night and day

Yeah, I definitely need a new PSU—I've got some random leftover unit sitting around that’s only about 400W... my old one actually fried while I was cleaning it out (it was an old 400W unit too). As for the budget, I'm honestly not sure—prices seem to be all over the place lately. Hey, I'm checking in—sorry I haven't been on the forum, life has just been crazy busy lately. I haven't made it to the doctor yet, though maybe now that I've read this, I should. Things actually improved after using that ointment we talked about, and the main symptoms seemed to clear up. However, I'm dealing with some bleeding again after a particularly tough bowel movement, which I think might be those old internal hemorrhoids acting up. I'll probably end up heading to a clinic in Chicago for a colonoscopy soon. Also, for about ten days now, I've had this itching sensation, but this time it’s all over my body (NOT just around the anal area). I'm honestly not sure if it's a reaction to the cream or if I'm dealing with an allergy or something else entirely.
I've been dealing with hemorrhoids for about two years now. Lately, they've really flared up—the itching around my anus is intense, and there's this constant discharge that’s actually leaving my underwear wet in that area. On top of that, the skin around the opening feels thick and swollen, to the point where it just feels heavy and inflamed. I went ahead and ordered some cream from the pharmacy that I used to use back when I had a prescription from my proctologist.
Hopefully, I can finally put an end to this misery.
