I was wondering which one is actually going to do a better job, the Cooler Master or the 212 EVO, especially since I have zero intention of overclocking my rig. I’m looking to swap out my current cooler because the stock one is honestly driving me insane with how loud it is, and if I'm being real, it doesn't even seem to be doing much for the temps.
Do you have any clue what this one is actually like? Since it’s a bit cheaper, I can't help but wonder just how much worse it's going to be compared to the first one
I'm looking for some advice on a cooler for this specific processor because I really need something that can actually handle the heat without sounding like a jet engine taking off right next to my desk, and honestly, I’d prefer not to blow more than $250$100 on it—though if I could find something even cheaper, that would be even better. Thanks.
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it.
So, I’m looking to pick up some kind of signal booster because I’ve got travelers hanging out right below my place, and since the connection is pretty much non-existent, I was wondering if anyone here has actually messed around with this kind of stuff before. I was eyeing the Linksys N640 specifically, but honestly, I have no clue if that's actually going to do anything or if I'm just throwing money away. What do you guys think? Thanks.
Man, I’m sorry, it feels like there's always some kind of glitch or headache with this stuff, but I think I finally got everything running smoothly for once. Just wanted to double-check, did I go about installing this NVIDIA catalyst the right way?
Btw, does anyone know how to switch the keyboard language? Everything looks totally different than it used to, and for some reason, my clock and date settings won't update either. Thanks.
So, I headed over to the AMD site to grab those drivers, and it looks like I need to run this specific little program now to get everything installed properly. Thanks a ton for the help.
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/pro...&dl=1&RWD=0#dl I grabbed everything right from here.
Can someone please just drop a link for the drivers I actually need? I'm running a GA 970A DS3P paired with an R9 270. I found some stuff online, but there's a massive list of things for the motherboard and I can't tell if I really need to install every single one of them or
So I finally dragged it over to the repair shop guy, and he tells me straight up that the fans aren't spinning the way they should—like, they're just constantly stalling out or not getting enough juice. He’s gonna try swapping in a different graphics card to see if that clears things up.
Boeing 737, r9 270, 4 GB of RAM, a GA 970 DS3P with a 500 GB SATA hard drive... I even had to throw a graphics adapter on there just to get things moving.
So, I finally pulled the trigger on a brand new PC setup, grabbed two monitors and an adapter to get everything hooked up, but now when I try to fire it up, my screen is just staring back at me with that dreaded "no signal" message. Has anyone dealt with this kind of nonsense before? Any idea what might be causing this headache?
Could someone give me a hand? I just put together a brand-new rig, but the hard drive I'm using is an old relic from way back. Thanks, Drew Allen77, I'm gonna try messing around with it in a bit and we'll see if anything actually sticks.
Nah, man, what I'm actually trying to figure out is how to get rid of Windows XP entirely, since my plan is to just wipe it and install Windows 7 or 8 instead.
I've got a new rig arriving soon, so I’m looking to finally ditch Windows XP once and for all. Now, look, I’m definitely not some high-level IT wizard or anything, so if anyone could walk me through the actual process of how to uninstall XP, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks
