When you've got nothing better to do 🤣
Honestly, people in these comment sections are such a joke, obsessing over whether your belly is too small or too big. I actually ended up at the hospital for a checkup because they were worried my bump wasn't measuring right, but the doctor just told me it looks huge because I’m tiny. But hey, apparently, all those other "experts" on the internet know better, acting like they're surgeons with their "oh my god, mine was way bigger at four months" comments.
It's a lose-lose situation. If it's small, you're failing. If it's big, you're doing it wrong.
At the end of the day, who cares about the circumference of my stomach? As long as the baby is healthy, that's all that matters. 🙂
It’s honestly ridiculous how people call it "slavery" when a guy just wants to crash after work. I don't know what kind of women they're talking about then—the ones whose husbands never lift a single finger around the house ☕
Me? I’ve basically been on vacation for a week staying at my mom’s place... He gets home around 5, maybe takes a quick breather, then hits the books or starts tackling stuff like cleaning his room, organizing the closet, painting, whatever. If things need doing, he'll vacuum or toss a load of laundry in... but seriously, where is he supposed to find more time? I'm the one cooking lunch every day, doing the ironing, and handling all that other stuff 🤷
At the end of the day, if a couple works out this way and they're both happy, why does everyone have to jump down their throats calling women "slaves" and men "useless"??? 🙄

And look, you don't need to vacuum and mop every single day or hit the big supermarkets constantly. You can make enough soup for two days, the laundry basically takes care of itself, and folding clothes only takes five minutes.
I'm not saying you shouldn't ask for help, but it surprises me that everyone assumes moms need constant assistance. My dad knows how to cook and clean just fine. 😉

Look, I'm talking about the beginning stages. My mom isn't gonna be hovering over me until I actually land a job.😕
Same here, but in those moments, I just want my mom nearby. It's got nothing to do with trying to dodge chores or whatever.🤷

Yesterday, my husband gave me the best compliment... he told me that for months now, everyone has been warning him to watch out because I’d eventually deal with schizophrenia, panic attacks, or rage just because of "the hormones"... and then he looked at me yesterday and said, "I've been waiting and waiting... when is this hysteria actually going to 😂 happen???"!!!

🙂
I really don't care about the small stuff. No drama, no outbursts, no crying my eyes out... yesterday a family friend who works as an RN told me she was totally floored by how chill I am 🙂
though I have a feeling that might change soon... between the insomnia, heartburn, low blood pressure, low iron, bed rest, lethargy, and my stomach tightening up, it’s pretty hard to stay totally cool 😳
The weirdest part is I feel like some lovesick teenager again😍🤣

Props to anyone who thinks they can pull it all off solo, but honestly? I can't even imagine it. Like, I can't picture myself being the one stuck with the baby while my husband plays chef, makes lunch, vacuums, mops, does the dishes, handles the laundry, changes diapers, runs to Target, and actually hangs out with us... etc., etc. If he even manages to snag some downtime, I'm pretty sure it’s gonna be a struggle right from the start. 😵 Same here. And honestly, I definitely wouldn't have expected him to tackle all the housework with the same level of focus he’s putting in right now. 🤷
It really gets under my skin when people come up to me talking about some sick little girl with terminal illnesses 😢
Honestly, that’s not exactly a topic that’s easy to stomach on a good day, let alone when my hormones are doing laps in my system.
And yeah, that was exactly what I needed to kick off my morning. 🙂

Which stores or places near you actually display those signs giving priority to pregnant women?

I'm genuinely curious because here in my city, I haven't seen it at a single place, not even at 🤷
Walmart.
It’s just so frustrating. For now, anyway. 😳

I actually saw one the other day at Walmart and it caught me totally off guard.
I hate it when people ask if I'm pregnant. 🙄 It’s such a weird question... makes me think of those old Alien movies or something. Honestly, what’s the point even asking? It’s not like I’m in some super early stage where I wouldn't notice if something was actually kicking inside me 🤷
Honestly, young moms are getting on my last nerve lately with all their questions. I’m just not in the mood for the endless sob stories about labor, how "terrible" the nurses were, or the whole "it was such a struggle" routine filled with tears and misery. 🙂
One girl actually asked me, "Omigod, are you just dying to give birth??" And I’m like, no, actually, life is great right now. I feel amazing, and since I've still got three months left, I’m perfectly happy keeping this baby tucked away inside me for a while longer. But she just gives me this look like I'm being weird, saying she couldn't wait to get hers out and basically implying I'm not enjoying this enough. 😕
Then they hit me with the, "Can you imagine being in my shoes in just a few months?" Like, newsflash: I’m not even thinking about that yet. 🤷 Instead, they're always like, 😲 "Oh, I can't wait until mine is big enough to eat this and that..."
Just leave me alone, okay? I'm doing fine. I'm vibing with the baby, we're having our little moments, and eventually, the day will come when they actually show up. It's not like I got pregnant just to keep them trapped in there forever. 🙄
Sometimes it just drives me nuts when people ask where my belly is, like they're looking for something that isn't there (no, seriously, I'm as flat as a board 🙄). But I've realized it’s usually coming from people who are actually overweight themselves—by their logic, I should probably have a beer gut or something. And then the "are you eating anything?" questions. No, obviously not, I just starve myself all day and let the baby go hungry just so I can stay fit ☕
I don't get what they want from me. I've had the same weight for like 10 years, I've never even hit 110 lbs, so what? Did they think I was gonna turn into some massive elephant overnight 🙄

As for people sticking their noses into naming stuff... honestly, I don't know if I should be happy or annoyed. One side of the family doesn't just ignore the name thing, they basically don't care about anything else either. Still trying to figure out if I should even care 🤣😛
