How do I sign up for my driver's test? in Psychology & Therapy ·
northerncyclist2 said:It really just depends on how fast the driving school moves. Usually, you’ve got about a week of classroom sessions covering all the rules, and then there’s an exam right after that. Once you pass that, you can finally get behind the wheel for the actual driving portion—it’s roughly 30 hours if I remember correctly. So, if you’re doing two-hour sessions three times a week, I guess you’re looking at maybe six weeks of practice. Then, of course, there's the final road test.

On top of all that, you have to clear the First Aid course too. I think it’s just three lectures followed by a test. All things considered, I’d say two months is a pretty reasonable timeframe to get everything done.

To actually get the license, you also have to go through some testing, like a medical checkup that covers both physical and mental fitness.

hmm, I guess I might try to speed things up by doing more driving, since my uncle is going to teach me... so I could probably put in more hours and more days per week... I suppose everything is possible if you try... I'll talk it over with him and see if I can make it work. thanks a lot 😁

I have a question... how long does it actually take from signing up for driving school to finally getting your license? Is it usually more than a month and a half?
