Sam Sullivan58 said:He’s not being stupid at all. New York City is easily big enough to handle two or three massive soccer clubs, just like it was back before WWII. That vacuum left since 1945 still haunts NYC today because the city doesn't even have its own legitimate sports club, let alone a real rivalry. The capacity here was—and still is—massive, even by European standards. I'm not trying to split hairs here, but if someone like Tedeski showed up in the soccer scene, they'd pull in a huge crowd overnight. Look at Medvešćak, Cedevita, or even NK Chicago back in 2001; they're living proof of how flighty the "die-hard" Dynamo fans actually are and how much people crave something fresh. That’s actually the answer to why everyone in NYC is so passive about what’s happening with Dynamo right now. People love Dynamo... but not enough to lose their minds over it.

Brothers, we’ve got a mountain of work ahead of us once Mamić is finally kicked out... But that’s a whole different thread for GNK, so I’ll drop my take on that in a few days.

I suggest all NYC citizens sign up for synchronized male swimming.

Ryan Wilson8 said:I’ve been staring at this mess for an hour, and honestly? It’s enough to make you want to walk into traffic. We’re talking about the soul of the club, the very thing that makes being a fan of Hajduk Split worth the constant heartbreak, and what do we get? A bunch of suits and bureaucrats treating our passion like a spreadsheet. It’s pathetic. Look, I know I’m a cynic. I know I complain. But there’s a difference between healthy skepticism and this absolute rot eating away at everything we hold dear. They talk about "modernization" and "professionalism," but let’s call it what it really is: a slow-motion suicide mission. They aren't building a future; they're just liquidating the past to satisfy some corporate ego. It feels like the higher-ups have completely lost touch with the streets. They sit in their air-conditioned offices while the rest of us—the people who actually bleed these colors—are left to deal with the fallout of their incompetence. It’s the same old story. The powers that be think they can manage a legacy like ours with the same cold, calculating logic they’d use to run a mid-sized logistics firm in Ohio. Newsflash: you can't quantify loyalty. You can't put a price tag on the atmosphere when the NFL Ultras show up to turn the stadium into a furnace. They ignore the fans. They ignore the history. They act like we’re some nuisance to be managed rather than the lifeblood of the entire organization. It’s insulting. Every time they push one of these "reforms," it feels less like progress and more like a betrayal of the Code we live by. I’m tired, man. Tired of the excuses, tired of the empty promises, and tired of watching people who don't give a damn about this club pretend they're saving it. We deserve better. We always deserved better. But at this rate, I’m starting to wonder if anyone in charge even remembers what we’re fighting for. So this is how Tomislav Marčinko sees Hajduk!!!

I don't hang around this forum all that much, so what's the point? We really need to sharpen our knives on some idiot? We’re better than that. Why bother talking about people who aren't even on our level? Honestly, screw 'em—dead or alive.

Some nationalist prick is talking trash about Hajduk again. Honestly, we've had enough domestic traitors to last a lifetime...

Trying to run the numbers on whether there are more Black Knights fans or Dinamo fans is honestly just a fool's errand. If you really wanted to be fair, you’d just call it a 50/50 split and leave it at that. Nobody actually knows the truth, and frankly, nobody ever will. But let’s get one thing straight: the Black Knights crowd is way more loyal than the Dinamo lot. I don't care how much you Dinamo people try to harp on about it or claim otherwise...

Look, if people can lose their minds and start a riot during Metallica’s "Creeping Death" set, I don't see why we can't expect the same level of chaos at a regular football game.

I guess I’m one of those rare nerds actually running legitimate, paid software, so every single time I click a link on this forum, I get hit with this:

And so on... look, this isn't just me being paranoid. If you don't have a rock-solid firewall, your PC is basically asking to get absolutely wrecked. Admins, owners—seriously, please look into this. This isn't something to joke around with...

Frank Diaz14 said:Look, let's just wrap this whole thread up once and for all. I've got the firsthand info. The very first Mertojak banner dates back to 1988:

Then there are these two from the '93/'94 season:

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/35/radnik100.jpg
(Zeus Spalato was basically an inside joke...)
The "Master from the Coast" one went up in '94/'95:

That tarp with the yellow lettering from '96/'97:

Check out how the paint started peeling back in 2002—it had white letters, but they painted over it on the other side:

This one was made during the '97/'98 season:

The current old banner is 10 years old now. It's been through 122 away trips. First match:
Hajduk vs. Dinamo, 1-1 (won on pens 4-2), Marjan Trophy, Feb 16, 2002.

Aside from the first one, I helped make pretty much everything else.
One of the craziest moments was when we were making the "Master from the Coast"—women were literally throwing chains down from their balconies (willingly, mind you). 🙂
And two more were made right behind it, "on their own initiative," by some younger guys...
Plus two US flags: ST MERTOJAK (Brko L actually carried that one himself to the national games) and HELL ANGELS MERTOJAK

EDIT: Back when Z. was carrying the "Master from the Coast" to the Art Academy (Z. came up with the design),
this flag was being painted too:
http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/823/65575645.jpg
It was designed by his buddy, who was an active fan from the other side of town and lent him a hand with the painting.
After the Ajax game, if I remember correctly, there was a huge shot of the Hell Angels with a big banner and the flag in the frame.
If anyone has a digital copy of that photo, please post it.

Honestly, I think that was the beginning of the end for the wildest generation of NFL Ultras we ever had.

(Pretty sure that's Columbus from Pujanka in the photo)

Man, when we were crossing the border, the local cops told us we couldn't bring glass bottles through. Kele just looked at the bus driver and asked, "What's wrong with these guys?" Once he explained, we obviously downed everything in them right then and there, handed the empty bottles back to the cops, and rolled straight onto the stadium stands. The rest is history. And yeah, that's definitely Columbus in the shot.

Ronald Nelson2 said:If Satan or God didn't exist, there would be no balance in the world. It would be either absolute evil or absolute good. If God were to completely wipe out evil, life itself would lose its meaning. Everything would be perfect. That is why a person has to fight against Satan on their own.
Satan pushes a person to commit evil. God never sleeps. If you turn to Him, He is there. It is we who need to stay vigilant, not Him.

Looks like someone spent way too much time in a cult and let them brainwash them.😁

rapidbear65 said:Proudly representing my roots! You honestly think Jesus Christ and religion haven't shaped science? Look at where modern civilization actually thrives today... Is it in China? Tibet? India? The Middle East? Or right here in the West? It’s built on Christian foundations. Just imagine if those other places had this kind of spiritual momentum... I’ve already got the answer ready for whatever you ask next. Peace!...

Nah, let's be real—religion was basically designed just to keep the primitive, broke masses from asking too many questions.

John Miljuš knows. What a pathetic, bottom-of-the-barrel excuse for a journalist. Honestly, I’m just pissed he hasn't been run out of town by the fans yet—it'd be a mercy. Such a total degenerate.
