Why doesn't God share His knowledge? in Religion ·
Michael Anderson2 said:I'm not sure—was it actually born? Who gave birth to it? And when?

I don't know—who existed before it?

No, I didn't. Care to elaborate?

Allow me to explain then.

Spacetime exists across a multitude of dimensions.

One can even calculate exactly how many there are.

All these dimensions are interconnected, yet they function as distinct realities unto themselves.

For instance, at the exact same moment our dimension of spacetime exists, all the others exist too; however, within our specific realm, those other dimensions don't manifest as spacetime because they are far too small. It is much like how we, along with the entire universe, do not exist as a spacetime entity within any other dimension.

Now, each dimension can only come into existence once in all of eternity.

Why is that?

Because the moment immediately preceding or following it, another dimension is already forming—one in which our own doesn't even exist as a spacetime construct.

In short, there was ONLY ONE MOMENT when our dimension of spacetime could have been born.

And that moment occurred.

That was the birth of our spacetime; prior to that, from our perspective, neither time nor space existed.

But since our dimension is merely one among many, it stands to reason that time and space did indeed exist before ours—they just belonged to different dimensions that occupy neither space nor time within our own.

I'm not quite sure how well I've managed to convey this.

All these various dimensions of spacetime are what all beings refer to as God.

And so.

When our dimension of spacetime emerged from God (who is not a person), the first civilization was born, representing the oldest intelligence within our dimension.

The first being is the ruler, or king, or the Son of God, as everyone calls Him.

After countless billions of years, the first civilization succeeded in creating the first matter; everything after that—the universe, humanity—is just history.

Therefore, we cannot retreat into infinity regarding who came before, because we eventually hit that point in the past where our specific time and space simply did not exist.

Which is why the Bible says, "In the beginning was the Word...!"

This refers to the beginning of our dimension.

Whoever was born first would be the oldest, wouldn't they?

Michael Anderson2 said:So, you're actually claiming that God helped me just by giving me a brain? Look, I don't know—that feels like a bit of an oversimplification to me. Honestly, I was expecting some kind of more concrete intervention... 😍

Wait, didn't that nomad claim God doesn't exist—that it was just about "civilization"?

Didn't I state quite clearly that the first civilization was born?

Who, then, existed before it?

It seems you haven't quite grasped the point.

Maria Robinson2 said:The Bible explains He will always help, though perhaps only those who sincerely seek Him and follow His laws—if that’s the right way to put it.
Which, I suppose, implies He won't help others at all, simply because they have no interest.

It is interesting how it's explained that Satan loves to "help"—he essentially owns the world, as was made clear out in the desert when he approached Jesus to tempt Him; he offered everything because he truly had power over it.
People who fail to understand this, or perhaps just choose not to believe, end up setting traps for themselves—unaware of who they are actually dealing with when "help" arrives.
That entity will eventually demand payment, asking for only one thing in return: a person's life, which is the ultimate cost.

I watch certain people from the sidelines—they openly despise God and blaspheme, which is frankly unpleasant to listen to—yet they seem to be doing great. They have the money, the luxury cars, the mansions, and they travel the world enjoying themselves without a care in the world... yet they still joke about how good God is to them, implying that's why they have everything while others don't.
When they finally do need help, it becomes painfully obvious who steps in to "assist" them—only to intentionally leave them hanging right when things start spiraling out of control.

Those are just a few details to consider.

God doesn't intervene constantly; He only does so when necessary.

You can seek Him with all your heart, but if He has decided your time is up tomorrow, you're going to die regardless of whether you were a saint or a sinner.

Maria Robinson2 said:Didn't God give humans intellect to actually use it?
You can see for yourself that, given the situation,

we understand that sometimes we succeed and sometimes we don't, which implies we have little control over our own paths when we rely solely on ourselves.
We try to lean on friends, too, but they can fail us—whether intentionally or simply because they lack the power to help.

That is why God said to rely only on Him; we should trust Him, because once we do, He steps in precisely when things start spinning out of control—when everyone else walks away or finds themselves unable to help because they just don't know how.
And God always knows how to handle it; He knows, but He waits for the person to realize it. He doesn't intervene immediately like people expect; He knows the right timing for everyone.
As for human needs being just needs... well, that's a whole different story.

I'm not sure if you followed me—lately, I have this feeling that nobody understands what I'm saying, let alone what I'm asking.

Regards,

God does not always intervene.

Because this isn't eternal life.

This life is merely a path toward eternity.

Every person must live through it.

And accept whatever life throws their way.

Both the joys and the sorrows.

Both birth and death.

But one must also accept eternal life.

Benjamin Taylor6 said:But look, that’s all just faith—it isn't actual knowledge. If we were talking about real knowledge, He would have founded some kind of academy for Astral Projection, where people could actually experience what it feels like to be out-of-body on their own terms. 😁

It isn't just blind faith; Jesus actually KNEW exactly what He was talking about.

We’ll all see the truth of it soon enough.

Benjamin Taylor6 said:"I am the way, the truth, and the life"—it’s a beautiful sentiment, really. But when you actually try to pin down what that means in a practical sense, people usually retreat into these tired, hollow clichés about being "good," "kind," or "polite." Sure, you can chase that through fasting, prayer, deep contemplation, or attending Mass and taking Communion every Sunday. But where does the actual intellect fit into all that? Prayer isn't going to do much for you if a plague like cholera hits, nor is it going to shield you from the madness of someone like Breivik.
And if you live in an earthquake zone, let me tell you—Christ isn't going to hold up your ceiling. You'll be relying on plenty of structural steel and high-grade concrete for that.

I believe you're missing the point of what Jesus was actually saying.

The "Way" means accepting your own life—carrying your cross to the very end, much like Jesus did without ever turning back.

The "Truth" signifies that He came to bear witness to the reality that God exists.

And "Life" refers to the fact that He came to grant us a life that is eternal.

Do you follow me??

You’re attempting to manipulate the conversation, but I'm afraid it simply isn't working.

Don't you realize that it doesn't matter who said what or when they said it? What actually matters are the facts—raw and unadorned, without all this unnecessary fluff.

And from where I'm sitting, it seems you aren't even familiar with the actual facts.

If you were, perhaps you would finally grasp the point I am making.

hiddenbear3 said:Actually, there is a third option.

Human beings might have invented it—priests, for example...

I am certainly not claiming that is the case, but I am suggesting it as a distinct possibility...

The identity of the author is secondary; what actually matters is whether the message itself holds truth or not.

Do you follow my logic?

Sean Martinez14 said:briskotter192, you don't have a clue—there's zero evidence to back up anything you're saying... and honestly, even if God actually exists, are you even sure you want to be getting involved with Him? I mean, look at how He treats kids, women, the elderly... it’s a mess. You probably haven't even cracked open a Bible in your life, and if you actually have, then frankly, I'm worried about you.
Look, I'll be real—I don't know if He's out there. I spent ages trying to convince myself that He was, but then I realized that if there is some kind of deity, He's completely incomprehensible... so I ended up just concluding that I don't know anything at all. It actually seems way more plausible to me that these Biblical gods were just some highly advanced civilizations... and honestly, there's more and more evidence pointing that way every day.

I know, my friend. I know God exists, and I assure you, you won't find yourself disappointed by Him.

If this life were all there was, then God would indeed be unjust.

But this life is merely the introduction to an eternal existence, as beautifully put by the Lord of the universe, Jesus Christ—the King of the First Civilization, which created both the cosmos and humanity.

He was either lying or telling the truth; there is no middle ground.

Benjamin Taylor6 said:Well, He might be real to some people, but for others—and I mean this sincerely—I fear He feels incredibly unreal!!😢😲😢
For example:

Take a guy like this—he’s viewed as a warrior of God, someone who simply executes whatever God commands him to do. And sure, he did it; he wiped out those servants of Satan.

But if you ask the parents of the people who were killed, they aren't exactly seeing God's hand in this... they're seeing Satan.

There is only one God, because there can only be a single cause for our entire existence.

Therefore, there exists a primary cause of all causes, and it cannot be more than one.

Whether we define that cause—or God—through fairy tales or through truth is a different matter altogether.

I know for a fact that God exists, whereas before, I was merely a believer.

There is a profound difference between simply having faith in something and truly knowing it to be true.

Austin Martinez20 said:Yeah, you're totally right. We should definitely measure God against Little Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, and Pokémon instead. 😉

Which God are you actually referring to?
Why doesn't God share His knowledge? in Religion ·
Austin Martinez20 said:I know, but I can't say too much. You gotta keep believers in the dark and scared... that's why they're always threatening them with some upcoming Apocalypse, and the Bible is so vague even the priests can't make sense of it. Believers aren't supposed to think for themselves; they just have to listen. That's the only way to control them and drain their wallets.
Then there's that whole "Divide and conquer" thing, but I shouldn't go too deep on that...

Later

One should not attempt to measure God by the standards of human beings, who are inherently flawed and prone to sin, just as we all are.

Greetings.

Anyone who doesn't listen is gonna face God's wrath.
First thing's first: stop giving money to priests. It's a sin against God.

Poor folks shouldn't be handing cash over to those filthy rich priests. Amen!

Since you claim God has chosen you—which, granted, isn't an impossible feat—could you perhaps clarify something for us? Is God a single person, a Trinity of three persons, or merely some sort of cosmic force?

Do you honestly believe God doesn't exist?

You couldn't be more wrong.

You'll encounter Him sooner or later.

bluebison25 said:😂 If God doesn't exist, nothing fundamentally changes. You’ll still be stuck spinning your wheels and talking absolute nonsense, won't you? 😂

Because He handed down the laws we’re required to live by.

😂 Of course it isn't.

He handed them over simply because he’s older and sharper than any of us. It's basic common sense.

😂 Please, don't compare him to Tovar. That guy was a fool, sure, but at least he lived in an era before the internet—back then, he could actually look people in the eye and tell them the truth about things being round. 🙂

That’s like saying you're smarter than a toddler reaching for a glowing stove burner just because he doesn't realize it'll burn him.

Oh, please. What exactly makes him smarter? Because he can hide invisibly above the clouds? Give me a break.

If God didn't exist, the sheer injustice of this world would be unbearable. It’s a total lottery where some people are born into massive wealth while others struggle to survive, some are gifted with perfect health while others face constant illness, and some are blessed with beauty or intellect while others aren't. Without a higher power, that kind of cosmic unfairness is just senseless.

If only things would actually happen when they're supposed to. It’s like waiting for a delayed flight at JFK—you just sit there staring at the departures board, knowing nothing is moving. God exists! It would be an immeasurable injustice if some people were punished in this life only to face retribution again in the next. If that’s the kind of God we're talking about, then frankly, such a deity is just plain sadistic.

Since this life isn't everything, there will be a period in eternal life that is the complete opposite of our current reality. You can't cry injustice on Earth when the full picture hasn't even been revealed yet.

😂

Jesus said that those who are first on Earth will be last, and those who are last will be first. It’s a total reversal of everything we think we know about status.

Look, Jesus basically tells you to cut off your junk and live a life of total misery just to make it into the "eternal hunting grounds," so why wouldn't you just listen? If that's the deal, why is the Pope swimming in gold instead of actually following Jesus's example of living in poverty?

- all this talk about God-Jesus

Best,

lol

Regardless of what you all say, God exists!

He isn't some eternal being, as I've already stated.

The truth is that God gave harsh laws in the Old Testament, but Jesus rejected them in the New Testament and provided new ones.

Everything Jesus said and commanded is right there in the Bible, so let's not keep repeating ourselves.

As for knowledge, God will demonstrate His power in this era as well, and you will see for yourselves.

Why hasn't God revealed certain knowledge before?

What would Galileo have had to say back then?
Or Copernicus?

Or Newton?

Or Einstein?

They wouldn't have had anything to talk about, because the very things they are famous for would have already been discovered.

How did the universe actually begin?

We don't even know that yet, do we?

Perhaps God will choose someone once again to reveal that to us.

One never knows.

Anthony Perez9 said:So what if God actually does exist?

What difference does it make to your actual life? Personally, I'd say none, which is basically just atheism. If you're a believer, sure, you'll start rambling about how God dictates your every move, lighting candles and acting like it's a sin to live like He isn't there.

The whole "does He exist" debate is pretty much useless—just a way for theologians to spin their wheels. What matters is how you view that Being in your own head and how that shapes what you do. That’s what faith really is.

So, how do you actually prove your God's attributes or the way he works?
To me, it looks like a massive delusion—getting high on your own supply of logic and emotion, mixed with centuries of overthinking by theologians. ☕

If God exists, the fundamental nature of everything shifts.

Because He provided the laws by which we are meant to live.

He gave them because He is older and wiser than we are.

It’s quite similar to how an adult is more knowledgeable than a small child, who might reach for a hot stove simply because they don't understand the consequence of being burned.

If God did not exist, it would be a staggering injustice that some are born into wealth while others face poverty, some are healthy while others are ill, some are beautiful while others are less so, some are brilliant while others are not—and so on.

However, since this life is not everything, and because there will be a period in ETERNAL LIFE that stands in total opposition to our current reality, we cannot speak of injustice occurring here on Earth.

Jesus says that those who are first on Earth will be last, and those who are last will be first.

it's all connected

We are free to think whatever we please, but there is only one Truth. How are we supposed to uncover that Truth? We simply can't, not unless those who are older than us (beings existing both inside and outside our universe) permit it. And once they do grant us permission, you won't find yourselves believing in fairy tales about the Big Bang, Evolution, or some Eternal Being anymore. That is when you will finally "grow up" and become much wiser, allowing you to actually comprehend things when those beings send a message or reveal the Truth about ourselves and them. Best regards
