Sinclair claimed the floor was at 1632. He missed. It’s pretty damn rare for Sinclair to be off his mark—the guy basically lives on "inside" intel—so when he misses, you know things are getting ugly. It looks like the cartel is going all out, using every bit of artillery they have (both seen and unseen) just to take down the PMs. I’m with the idea that we could see a dip below $1550, but honestly? I think some version of QE3 is hitting the fan very soon. Which means we’re looking at gold hitting 2111 by the end of the year. That's both Sinclair's take and mine.

But if you aren't looking at the actual money supply—which is ballooning right alongside those prices—it’s easy to fall for the illusion that gold is gaining value. In reality, its purchasing power is basically just holding steady while the amount of cash floating around keeps climbing.
Right now, we’re almost certainly looking at a combo of Quantitative Easing and more Quantitative Easing. Barack Obama essentially won this round; he's going to kill off austerity, and since someone has to foot the bill for that, the easiest way is through inflation—basically via more Quantitative Easing.
The cash being pumped into the banks through these programs isn't actually going to go toward boring government bonds; it's going to chase higher returns in things like Apple stock or Vietnam. This just inflates the bubble even further, leading us down a loop of more rounds of easing until we eventually hit a total system reset—because right now, the whole setup just exists to protect the big bankers without any limits whatsoever.
Expect gold and silver prices to keep climbing.

I'm with you on most of that, though I've gotta disagree on your take regarding the systemic collapse or the "bankster" endgame. Honestly, I don't think either of us is going to live long enough to see that movie play out. As for gold and silver, yeah, they'll definitely climb—sometimes fast, sometimes slow.
