Sandra Brown18 said:You didn't report my posts. Or maybe they just didn't reach you due to some technical glitch? You clearly misunderstood what I meant about the warnings. Warnings should be issued to people actually breaking the rules, not just handed out on a whim.

I used the actual report button designed specifically for flagging posts. Does that feature even function at all?

Sandra Brown18 said:To be perfectly honest, almost all of you should have been handed suspensions by now; I just didn't want to come at you with a sledgehammer immediately. I’ve given you plenty of warnings.
There's zero progress. From here on out, penalties will be flying, because honestly, very few of you have actually bothered to follow the rules. It’s just constant insults, just like I said.
Jose Clark2 was rightfully penalized, and that was only after he repeatedly insulted an entire profession.
And as I mentioned, it’s nice to see everyone finally finding common ground in attacking me. At least you can agree on something. 😁.
By the way, I haven't received many reports.

I think it should be obvious to you—and to the site admins—that good moderation isn't signaled by saying "penalties will start flying from now on." True moderation would have meant punishing those who insult others, especially when they're doing it in the most primitive ways possible.

For what it's worth, I reported a couple of posts by The Zagorski Crosser where he was being blatantly abusive toward other users, yet in the end, you were scolding Jose Clark2 while The Zagorski Crosser didn't even get a serious warning, let alone a suspension...

Rules exist for a reason. And they should apply to everyone equally.

If rules actually applied to everyone, you would have been banned from this forum a long time ago... ☕

Sandra Brown18 said:Guys, look, some of you have been breaking the rules too, even if it’s nowhere near the level of Jose Clark2. Jose was getting cards and bans, and I've been busy cleaning up threads and deleting posts. Just bear with me, please—I'm a brand new mod and there is a massive amount of work to do.
The guy from the suburbs only sent one report via my DM. Everyone else used email, and since I'm having issues with my inbox, I'm missing reports... Please send your reports through PM instead; I can react way faster that way than I can through email.

I can't agree with the idea that others have broken the rules significantly less than Jose Clark2. That guy from the suburbs is notoriously disrespectful to everyone, which just baits people into reacting and completely trashes the quality of the discussion in the History PDF thread. So far, all he's gotten from you is a light slap on the wrist. If your moderation were actually objective, he would have been hit with those famous 500-point penalties ages ago. But no. It's actually the opposite—you constantly jump on his reports, handing out points and deleting posts... That isn't the kind of objectivity we expect from a moderator. ☕

Honestly, I think you three are nothing more than world-class trolls and bullies. You’re just weaponizing fake history and using cyber warfare tactics to shut down any constructive conversation that doesn't fit your narrow little worldview. To be honest, you should probably be banned from this Reddit indefinitely if we actually want to raise the standard of discussion here...

Are the Rotarians running America? in Close to Politics ·

What on earth are you even talking about... How could this possibly be some sort of shadowy Masonic organization when its members include Catholic priests?
Are the Rotarians running America? in Close to Politics ·
Joseph Peterson6 said:People often describe Rotary clubs as a sort of talent pool used to recruit members for Masonic lodges. That doesn't mean every Rotarian is just a candidate waiting in the wings; rather, it’s a space where high-ranking Masons sit alongside regular members, effectively steering the clubs from within.

Looking at the heavy hitters in American politics, you see names like Barack Obama, Joe Biden, George W. Bush, and various influential governors or senators popping up in Rotary rosters...

😲

Seeing that connection was a bit of a wake-up call for me. It turns out that almost all the most prominent American politicians who have been shaping our national destiny since the turn of the millennium are essentially just colleagues hanging out at the same Rotary meetings.

What’s your take? Are these Rotarians actually doing more than just the charitable work they claim to be focused on? 🤷

That goes a little against your theory that we can find Catholic priests inside Rotary Clubs. 😁

Volcker and his crew managed to pull off a bit of an illusion this round, but let’s be real: the bill is finally coming due. You can't save paper currency indefinitely without it eventually rotting away from the inside out.

It’s going to be paper in a bubble—not gold. If we decide to pivot back toward a gold standard right now, we’d essentially be triggering a massive correction where gold finally reclaims the true value that has been suppressed ever since the Federal Reserve was established back in 1913. In that scenario, fiat currency would simply plummet into an abyss, while gold stays exactly where it belongs: right where it has always been. ☕
Now, we just have to sit tight and see how this all unfolds—it's going to be interesting to watch the finer details play out. 🍿

I still can't wrap my head around how Gold could ever function as actual money, considering there simply isn't enough of it to cover the total value of all the goods and services moving through the global economy...
Timothy Evans2 said:Veteran officers within the military found themselves forced to condemn a presentation delivered to the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Virginia, where the unthinkable—using nuclear weapons against holy sites like Mecca and Medina—was actually put on the table. It was presented as a historical parallel to the devastation seen in Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Tokyo, and Dresden.

“We have come to realize that there is no such thing as modern Islam,” Matthew A. Dooley stated back in June 2011, essentially drafting a manifesto for American anti-Islamic defense. “The United States has to be crystal clear here: this aggressive ideology can no longer be tolerated. Islam must change, or it faces self-destruction.” This was the assertion made by Lieutenant Colonel Matthew A. Dooley during a seminar for the Joint Chiefs of Staff in Norfolk, Virginia. He laid out a four-phase blueprint designed to fundamentally transform Islam, one method being the initiation of counterterrorism operations directed at civilian populations—a strategy Dooley, who remains stationed in Norfolk conducting courses for officers preparing for deployment to Iraq, Afghanistan, and other Muslim nations, explicitly advocated.

Following the fallout, the Defense Intelligence Agency was ordered to investigate the matter this past April, as the content flew in the face of the "values we stand for," according to General Dempsey, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Dempsey was alerted to the situation by one of the course participants, a counterintelligence officer currently serving in Iraq. Upon hearing the details, Dempsey immediately issued orders to all staff branches, commands, and training centers to halt these types of lectures and any similar presentations regarding a total war against the Muslim world. General Flynn, acting as an assistant to Dempsey on these matters, officially suspended the courses in Norfolk this month.
Of course, none of this diminishes the official news breaking these days; the United States is ramping up its military involvement in Yemen and Pakistan significantly.
J. Brennan, a senior advisor to the White House Counterterrorism Center, announced this shift during a speech in Washington, D.C. Now, the Pentagon finds itself in the unenviable position of having to justify its actions to a watchful public.

Up until now, the "policy" for the high establishment—both the Pentagon and the White House—regarding military operations in Muslim countries has been to maintain a tight lid on things. The standard advice has always been: “...We are not in a position to comment on specific classified operations or specific areas of the world where we are engaged...” That is simply the directive handed down from PR handlers. The conclusion regarding our involvement in "unspecified military operations" stems from a statement by Brennan, who remarked, “...The United States government utilizes drones wherever they are required...”

Give me a break... And the third holiest site for Muslims is nothing else but Jerusalem. Are they planning to drop an atomic bomb there too? 😛
