I’m not even remotely upset, let alone jealous. Honestly, I’m actually pretty happy about what went down at Salisbury. How on earth could I be jealous of a squad that isn't even allowed in their own stadium? They have to go hunting for wins through an MLS side that didn't even bother to settle their $2333 debts before the big game?
The management completely blew it... damn, you guys know how this goes, but whatever... fine, have it your way ☕
By the way, I watched about five or six clips... seriously, kudos. And no, I'm not being sarcastic. Seriously, good job.
Jamie White17 said:Look, I'm not even a Real Madrid fan—don't go thinking I'm out here defending them—but what you're saying is just pure nonsense...
Are you seriously trying to argue that the Los Angeles Clippers are just some run-of-the-mill indoor soccer club that fits right in with everyone else in their league or higher? No. If that's your logic, then what you're talking about is complete rubbish. Actually, it's not even "rubbish," it's just irrelevant.
When you look at the massive end goal this whole project was built around—and we all know exactly what that is and how much heat it draws—you simply cannot compare this club to others that are operating in the red.
If we were talking about millions, I wouldn't say a word. But this $7,000 mistake? That's a total screw-up. It shouldn't have happened, especially since people are going to use every single ounce of energy they have to try and tear down everything that's been built so far.
Someone mentioned media manipulation earlier? Please. Why would they bother coming up with such a stupid excuse for a basic, everyday blunder?
Don't get worked up with me. I'm on your side here. Even though I don't pull for Real Madrid, the management team absolutely botched this one. That was the entire point of my post.
frozenangler12 said:I honestly have no idea how he managed to get himself registered; you’d think they would have flagged that he was already in the system somewhere... I actually know of someone who ran into this exact issue where they couldn't sign up because their registration was already active. In my own experience, I had to de-register a few people a month ago just to re-enroll them due to some changes in our headquarters, and not a single soul reached out to me or even asked for clarification on why that happened. It seems like they can barely keep up with processing basic applications at that speed, so I highly doubt anyone is going to come after you for an oversight like that...
Apparently, the system allows overlapping registrations specifically to account for these messy situations—like when an employer fails to report a worker's departure on time, leaving them free to start a new job elsewhere.
If the system blocked a new employer from registering a hire because the old one hadn't cleared them yet, then the new company would be technically violating filing deadlines through no fault of their own. So, I assume they just let the registration slide regardless of the status. It would be nice if they actually sent a notification about these conflicts, though.
Anyway, I'm just going to sit tight and wait for a fix so we can finally get some clarity. Hopefully, nothing bad comes of it. 🤷
Well, I’m not entirely sure if anyone else has posted this yet, but it looks like I might be the first one to bring this up here.
It actually happened... Amidst the chaos of managing a massive crew, dealing with endless crowds, and wrestling with these glitchy HR apps, I completely blanked on offboarding an employee. He had already moved on to a new gig and filed his paperwork elsewhere—yeah, those filings can overlap if you aren't careful.
I missed the deadline by exactly eight days. The termination filing finally went through, but now I'm sitting here wondering... am I looking at a fine?
According to the labor laws, missing the window can land an employer a penalty anywhere from $500 to $5,000, and the individual responsible could be looking at $100 to $1,000.
Aside from all these issues with the online portal...
So, I’ve got someone finishing up high school on June 30th who needs to get signed up for health insurance. Does the person actually need a formal certificate of graduation anymore, or is just having the diploma in hand enough?
I heard a rumor somewhere that those official certificates aren't even required now—apparently, schools don't even bother issuing them anymore.🤷
Now, regarding the stuff related to the e-problem...
I’ve knocked out about 30 filings so far, and honestly, the whole thing is giving me massive stress. Dealing with retirement paperwork is one thing—that part is fine—but this health insurance system is a complete nightmare. The app is absolute garbage, and everything moves at a snail's pace. It was so slow yesterday that I actually had to process a termination for an employee who hasn't even been successfully registered yet. Can you believe that?🙂
It’s not even that it’s impossible, it’s just... look, if your Social Security stuff went through electronically, then your Medicare paperwork has to follow suit. At least, that's what I was told. And honestly? If they're feeding me lies, I'm happy to feed them some right back. 🤷
I’ll go ahead and double-check my own medical records too.
Anyway, I managed to sort out that little headache from earlier by following the instructions from ini5.
Basically, you get an Active Client and deal with those Windows issues. Once I did that, everything finally clicked. Oh, and one more thing—I had to strip all the special characters and symbols out of the filenames; that was a bit of a pain. Also, the digital signature part was tricky. Whatever changes after you sign it, you have to re-sign the whole thing. And for heaven's sake, don't forget about the Z. btw. You don't need to sign the attachments, though.
Jamie Ortiz3 said:Nothing left to do but take my paperwork to the local office tomorrow. I emailed Medicare, but there's been no word yet. I've tried five different tech support numbers they provided, but nobody even picks up the phone...🙂
Look, if you already filed that person through the online retirement portal, they aren't going to accept a manual application at the health insurance desk. Once you start a process that way, you have to see it through to the end. That's just how the bureaucracy works.
Jamie Ortiz3 said:Leola, did you ever figure out that attachment issue? It’s giving me trouble too... Files are PDFs, no weird characters in the filenames, but they still won't upload. Has anyone else dealt with this...
It’s always the same thing—people venting on the Bad Boys subforum just because Armin is locked down 😂
What a lovely day... grabbing a coffee and scrolling through these jealous little rants..
Anyway... respect to the boys. I didn't catch it live, but from what I can tell, it looks like those mercenaries threw the first punch at you guys? They really get a lot of nerve once there's a fence separating them from the action.
So, I was over at my local Social Security office, right? And the lady behind the desk—blunt as ever—tells me straight up that they need the decision on opening a business and power of attorney. That was about ten days ago, though. Who knows if they've changed their mind or updated their paperwork since then... things move so fast these days.
Kate Brown49 said:Could use a little 🙈 help here. I’m pretty lost on this whole Social Security thing. We run a small business with 7 employees, so does that mean we have to start filing all the enrollments and terminations electronically starting April 1st? The part I don't get is,
1) Can I just handle these filings myself, or is that something the accounting firm needs to take over? 2) If I am doing the enrollments/terminations personally, how do I fill out the access form , specifically
A) What goes under "taxpayers"—do I list every single employee? B) What do I put for "users"—what kind of name searcher is that supposed to be?
Sorry for being so clueless. Believe me, I’ve read the Social Security Administration website a bunch of times already, but I’m still totally confused.
What exactly are you paying an accountant for? If only they would just handle all this stuff for me automatically. 😁
Your accountant probably already has all the necessary certifications, so handling this should be a breeze for them. I'm talking about things like filling out those access lists and all that technical paperwork.
I honestly don't think you'll even make it through the gates... It’ll be the same old story. A couple of ticket windows might be open, they'll harass you at the entrance, and you won't see a single soul in the stands for the entire first half before they finally shut everything down.
Now, look, if Brbić actually had some backbone—if not him, then Tudor or the players themselves—and they just stood up and said, "Enough is enough, we aren't playing without our fans," well, that would be a whole different ballgame.
Btw, if you guys end up getting into a brawl with each other, or if things go south with the police, then it's game over for everyone. You really need to handle this one intelligently.
Look, Jerry Jones has this incredibly powerful, smooth little trump card tucked away, and he actually laid it out during his presentation. He’s talking about restructuring Real Madrid, which makes it pretty obvious that Real Madrid is going to stop being a non-profit under the Board of Directors' current roadmap and instead pivot toward becoming some kind of LLC or similar corporate entity. By doing this, Real Madrid effectively escapes the constraints of the Non-profit Act—you know, those pesky rules that mandate elections whenever the membership demands them—meaning their bylaws will suddenly be perfectly aligned with USA regulations again. It’s not even a legal headache, really; it gives Real Madrid a chance to 'duck for cover' and just keep running things exactly the way they do now. To wrap things up, Jerry Jones announced there will be a Club Assembly meeting within the next 60 days, and that’s when we’ll finally see the actual endgame for the current Real Madrid Board.
Sean Sullivan2 said:They’ve basically just been told to fix the issues found during the inspection. No other penalties. They'll just tweak the bylaws, and instead of those cronies in management having their files handed to them, they'll just bring in some new buddies without any actual records, and nothing changes. Maybe the biggest win here is simply that they officially flagged violations of the Nonprofit Act regarding how the association is supposed to function democratically. But honestly? I highly doubt this marks the end of the clique running Real Madrid. They’ll just organize elections, purge all the "unremarkable" voters from the membership rolls—kind of like how they handle things at the entrance to Yankee Stadium—and then Jack cruises to victory with 106 percent of the vote.
This is the moment of truth. Washington, D.C. finally has a chance to show how much they actually care about Real Madrid.
If those "unremarkable" folks lose their right to vote, there are still enough citizens out there who can join the club and elect the board themselves.
They might manage to wiggle out of everything else, but they won't dodge the elections. There's zero chance of that. After that, it's entirely up to the people.
I finally pulled the trigger and opened an account over at DraftKings just so I could play some blackjack. Honestly, they seem to be the slowest ones to slash the odds—like, if a line is sitting at 1.20 elsewhere, it might actually stay closer to 1.30 over there for a bit longer Plus, you don't get hit with those obnoxious, loud-ass commercials every five seconds, and the interface is actually pretty clean and easy to navigate... Though, let's be real, there are definitely better sportsbooks out there if you know where to look
