It’s getting ridiculous; the drain clogs every single time I wash my hair, and after blow-drying, I practically have to vacuum the entire house just to get rid of the fallout.

I don't have any issues at all—it stopped once the pregnancy ended, though it was bad before. Probably might start again after I give birth, assuming I don't go totally bald😛

but the hair elsewhere on my body is driving me absolutely crazy—I’ve practically turned into a little jungle ball around my stomach area! 🤷

Yeah, same here—my hair and nails, especially my fingernails, are growing at warp speed. At first, I thought I was just being paranoid because I felt like I was clipping them constantly, but then I realized it actually is a change in growth rate.
I’ve picked up some light hair around my belly button, but it’s super faint—barely noticeable.
Honestly, after worrying about how much hair I'd deal with during pregnancy, things actually turned out fine.🙂
Bringing this thread back up for a second... I found something that isn't exactly irritating, though it’s definitely unexpected—my leg hair is growing like crazy. 🙂 Not sure if you guys are seeing the same thing... at first, the growth actually slowed down, so I only had to shave every third or fourth day instead of every other one. Now that I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy, it's been a week since my last shave, but I went to do it yesterday just to stay on top of things and realized I was totally out of supplies... so, I guess there's a silver lining somewhere. 😁
Hopefully, it stays this way. 😁 If not, I've got plenty of other complaints ready to go. 😁
Mercury, I dealt with the exact same headaches you’re facing. Before I got pregnant, I was walking constantly—way too much. Then, out of nowhere, the exhaustion hits hard, nosebleeds start happening, my legs felt like lead, and don't even get me started on the cramps... even stairs became a massive struggle. Then I found my secret weapon—working out 😉
. I force myself to get moving every single morning—the earlier the better to beat the heat—and it's been a total game changer. I feel better, sleep better, and I've already dropped 10lbs 🙂. Definitely recommend it—assuming your pregnancy is going smoothly, of course
.
I've been reading through these posts about how much everyone's mothers-in-law drive them crazy... if it helps, mine hasn't once asked how I'm doing or if I need anything—let alone offered to buy me stuff. And keep in mind, she lives right downstairs in the same house. So, hopefully, that gives you some perspective that things aren't always as bad as they seem 😉
But that’s not actually what's getting under my skin...
I'm in my third trimester now, and the bump has been noticeable for about a month. Everywhere I go—grocery stores, the doctor's office, the bank, the post office—it's the same thing. Only two people have actually stepped up to help me out: one guy let me cut ahead of him at the clinic, and a woman gave up her seat in the waiting room. Honestly, what am I supposed to do? I'm pregnant 😉
Here I go again—I’ve already posted about this before. Honestly, certain commenters just drive me insane... specifically those women who act like they have all the answers just because they have kids. Like they somehow know what’s best for me and my baby better than I do. 🙂🙂🙂
How do you even deal with people like that? Then again, half of them could probably use a crash course in actual parenting, seeing as their own kids are total nightmares.
I can't stand the unsolicited advice, the constant lecturing, and the endless meddling in things that aren't their business...
It’s gotten to the point where everything is starting to grate on my nerves. Just the other day, someone asks if we want a girl or a boy. I tell her—it doesn't matter, we just want a healthy baby. She goes, "Oh, right, but you'd actually prefer a girl, wouldn't you?" So I just sit there repeating myself like a broken record—it's not important, health is what matters. 🙂
So here I am—just a chill pregnant woman who’s already getting annoyed by certain things... or rather, certain people. 🙂
I honestly don't get why women who've already had kids feel the need to lecture me and dump unsolicited advice on my lap. It's always "don't do this" or "you absolutely have to do that"—give me a break. I'm going to do things my way, based on what I want and how I feel, not because she told me to.🙂
