"Every single one of you tiny little things should be put on a royal diet immediately!"

And all of you idiots? You probably ought to be sterilized right now!

By the way, I am definitely not small. My BMI was a 20 before I got pregnant.
Jesse Johnson15 said:"Until that baby actually makes a sound, you aren't officially pregnant."

"Better get all the sleep you can right now, because once this kid arrives, sleep becomes a distant memory, haha!"

When I mentioned how I fully intend to keep working as long as my body allows me—even right up until the due date—the response I got was: "Are you kidding? I had to go on bed rest at just nine weeks!"

I couldn't agree more! Honestly, we could have easily collected those disability benefits for "pregnancy complications" if we'd played it that way!
So, my mother-in-law just dropped this line on me today about how my kid is going to end up being "too smart" for her own good. Honestly, I wasn't even that bothered by it, mostly because my husband had already warned me she’d say something like that, so we just spent a little while laughing about it together. Still, I felt like I had to share this ridiculous moment with you all here.
Are you seriously telling me you aren't taking magnesium?! What about calcium?! Or vitamin C?! Iron?! Potassium?! Phosphorus?! Sulfur?! Even Arsen?! I mean, how do you even function without those? Your body just burns through everything during pregnancy. It's wild. Honestly, I feel like I have to eat my weight in fruits and veggies every single week—probably closer to 15 kg total. I’m talking like 7 kg of oranges and lemons alone. Plus, I make sure to get plenty of meat, milk, cheese, eggs, and fish...

Nathan Lee said:Man, I actually got into a huge argument recently with this "veteran" type. He hit me with his bag first, then told me to get up for some old lady. Even though I don't have a baby bump, I was feeling really nauseous at the time, and I had just stepped away from a woman wearing a super irritating perfume. It was such a mess... I told him there are plenty of younger women who aren't pregnant either, so he actually demanded proof that I was pregnant and called me a liar. I felt so bad because I had to transfer to another bus right at that stop near Target, and he was shouting after me, saying, "See? She's lying—she's just a college student!" He basically made the whole bus look at me... it was so embarrassing.

This gave me a great idea—from now on, I think I'll just carry an ultrasound photo and a few medical papers in my purse. If I'm already carrying fifty other things, what's two or three more?
Sighing on the subway. Honestly, the only real downside to being pregnant so far is this occasional lightheadedness I get. Because of that, I usually end up skipping a couple of trains just to wait for one where I can actually snag a seat. Of course, there’s always some 45-year-old lady hovering over me, letting out these heavy sighs. Just recently, one woman snapped at me in this super irritated tone, suggesting I should probably stand up. I told her I really couldn't because I'm pregnant and feeling a bit faint. She didn't even bother to argue, though—she just turned her nose up at me and looked away.
I honestly can't wrap my head around how anyone thinks it’s okay to just reach out and touch someone else's stomach. It feels incredibly invasive, almost like some bizarre violation of personal space. I have this one coworker at my office who seems to have a compulsion to touch everything and everyone. If she ever actually touched my midsection, I think I might actually lose it. Even with my closest friends, I’ve always felt that grabbing someone by the stomach is just way too much.
