What were your biggest pregnancy surprises and pet peeves?

I am currently dealing with a nasty cold, and this intense headache is becoming quite irritating.
It reached such a point yesterday that I simply couldn't bear it, so I had a cup of Folgers and used some Afrin for my nose.
I feel slightly guilty about it, though I suspect it won't cause any lasting harm.🙄
