So, my maternity nurse dropped by for a prenatal check-in today... And she actually had the nerve to ask if I'm having a girl or a boy. I just gave her this huge, goofy grin and said, "It's a boy," because honestly, I can't even fathom anything else at 37 weeks. Then, she looks me straight in the eye and tells me it would probably be better if it were a girl, since my husband would rather have another one of those. Ooooooook...
It’s driving me absolutely crazy. My mom just shows up at our place without even a heads-up, and then proceeds to raid the pantry for things she deems "healthy" for me. Since she's a nutritionist, she’s also gone ahead and drafted entire daily meal plans for me—apparently because my doctor told me I need to watch my weight gain (which, by the way, has been about three pounds this past month)... 😕

But honestly? The biggest issue isn't even the food. It's the fact that she just barges in whenever she feels like it. I mean, my husband and I are expecting a baby here; don't we deserve a little bit of privacy? 🤷
Kyle Johnson2, thanks a million, it works perfectly! 🙂

Try looking for it under the "Browse" option instead, then just point it to the specific path you need. If this was a standard installation, you should be able to find it sitting right there in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14"
My apologies to the admins for misplacing this topic. I’m a bit confused about the posting rules here—last time, my software question was moved over to IT Support, but now it seems the exact opposite happened?
I realize I might be off-topic again, but I honestly wasn't sure where else to direct a question like this. 🙂

On another note, I wanted to ask if it’s possible to have separate sections for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint? When I’m searching through the forums, I feel like I’m losing my eyes just trying to filter through all the stuff about printing in Word or adding images to slides in PowerPoint, and I want to make sure I'm not accidentally double-posting an Excel question.
The individual programs are so massive, and I am certain it would make things much smoother for everyone involved—both for those of us asking questions and the people stepping up to help. 🙂

Best regards,
Dolores
I could really use some help here...

I'm trying to figure out how to identify which numbers from a specific set, say:
15
20
25
30

actually add up to a target sum, like 50.

In a "real-world" scenario, though, I’m staring at a list of 154 entries formatted as currency, so this isn't exactly a simple mental math problem. 😵

I don't care if Excel just copies them into a new column, highlights them, or spits out the cell positions via a formula—honestly, I don't care about the method. I just need the software to tell me which combination of numbers from my column hits that specific total. 🤔

By the way, I'm running Excel 2010.

Thanks so much!
Hey everyone,

I could really use some help here. I've put together this little macro:

Sub skinibojusacelija()
Cells.Interior.ColorIndex = xlNone
End Sub

Here’s the thing, though—I want to take this a step further. I'm trying to build this into a "before print" and "after print" event. Basically, I want the sheet to print without any cell coloring, but then have the colors pop right back in once the printing is finished. Does anyone know how to pull that off?

Thanks a million!

Jack Jones33 🤣 Are you out of your mind? Seriously—"come back..." 😉

@Fosna: It won't let me add these numbers to my Exceptions list... give it a shot if you can, maybe I'm just being a total airhead here... 😢

@Jack Jones33/">@@Jack Jones33: What happens if I start a sentence with the word "Year"? 😉

Hmm, you know, it might actually work... if I just input the years from 1850 through 2010, it should go through perfectly 😉)

Please tell me I’m not losing my mind here—I know for a fact it was in the old version of Microsoft Word: just don't auto-resize my font after the serial number! 🙂

Mhm, if only I could track down where they tucked it away... I highly doubt they scrapped the option with the new version; usually, they just make it more advanced 🙂

I really appreciate the advice, but that’s not quite hitting the mark. Everything you guys have mentioned is already on my radar—it's just not enough to solve this...

What I actually need is for the software to capitalize the first letter of a sentence, but *not* automatically capitalize the word following a list number.... 😢

Is anyone else seeing this?? Benjamin King2?? 🙂

I'm running into a bit of a headache with Microsoft Word 2007. Every time I type an ordinal number—like a year—it automatically capitalizes the very next word because there's a period right after the number. So, instead of getting "in the same conditions in 1958," I end up with "in the same conditions in 1958. Year." It’s driving me crazy. I have this faint memory from way back when using older versions of Word that there was a setting within the AutoCorrect options, maybe something like "Do not capitalize first letter of words after numbers," but I just can't seem to dig it up here... 😢

Thanks so much for the help!
