What were your biggest pregnancy surprises and pet peeves?

It’s been a few years since I went through pregnancy... but man, the memory of Mrs. Hyde is still vivid as hell... My niece, who was just a kid back then, described me perfectly: "Auntie, just have a baby already... you're actually insane" :-D

And let me tell you, the doctors over at Mayo Clinic's maternity ward definitely haven't forgotten me anytime soon... I think one poor intern actually tried to hide behind a curtain to get away from me, haha
