I hate my inner circle

Is that coming from a fear that you're secretly a gossip yourself—and let's be real, those people are bottom-of-the-barrel—or are you just terrified of being exposed and showing any kind of vulnerability?
I can't really put a number on them. They aren't "bad" people, per se, but they've always acted so weird toward me that it’s honestly embarrassing. My mom is fine, as long as she isn't spiraling into an anxiety attack, but my dad? He's the real issue. It feels like there's something deeply broken in his emotional makeup. Ever since I was 14, he hasn't treated me like his daughter—he treats me like a piece of meat. I literally go out of my way to avoid being in the same room as him. Being around him makes me feel so awkward and tense. But obviously, I can't explain this to anyone, because they'd just think I'm losing my mind. All this built-up anger and helplessness... it's turned into pure hatred. Mostly toward him, but probably eventually toward anyone else who tries to get close to me.
As for the second part? Yeah, it's the fear of being exposed.
So, what's your take on all this?
